  • 1:47 cracks me up every time!

  • What i loved about acting back in those days was. Actors were picked because they can play their Role. they get into character! Now adays actors play themselves. And every actor you see will play the same character is in every movie they're in.

  • 'love your stalag. very nice barbed wire.'

  • Now we know how the germans lost the war

  • larry hovis is a freakin genius....this out-subversive's larry david and pretty much anyone else after this....utter genius

  • that was awesome! he gasped out heil hitler

  • The, one General was the Prest on: M.A.S.H.

  • @Killersfrombeyond

    Yeah Father Francis Mulcahy

    Played By

    William Christopher

(in the last day of the Korean War only hours before the fighting ends he looses his hearing from a mortar, kinda sucks)

  • We will win the war anyway!

  • "Everything i do is a surprise! EVEN TO ME!!!!"

    Klink: "Yes mine fuerer !"

Carter: "Love your stalag. Very nice barb wire."

    Klink: "We think so."

Carter: "I love barb wire.....it makes me feal.. warm..very sentimental inside."

    best lines ever

  • "I love Barb wire, it makes me feel warm inside" A classic!!

  • Haha thank you for uploading! I love those moments where you really wonder whose side old Schultzy is on....

  • when Carter just randomly starts gesturing...

    heeheehee

  • veryy nice barbed wire!

  • I always loved these shows. Good clean fun and some humor too. I wish you could load the whole series. Thank you very much. I gave you five stars as usual.

  • Heil mein Fuhrer!

  • wow i didn't know germans spoke english in germany during ww2 lol

  • wow, CaptainNoura! That's amazing info! Very interesting! Hogan's Heroes was a great show, do you know how many seasons there were?

  • I think the show lasted six seasons. The original b&w pilot show had a Russian guy who was left out in a regular season and Carter was an officer in a first one.

  • you rock carter!!

  • Amen! He's my favorite. He does such a good hilter.

  • @ptashgirl its hitler. you put the l before the t.

  • @pohatu12

Your right Sgt .Carter was the best! R.I.P. Larry Hovis.

  • I enjoyed this series when I watched it during the late 1960s as a kid because they portraited the Germans and Nazis as fools rather than being feared. Kids shouldn't learn to hate anything. They also took guts to produce this series because actors who played Shultz and Klink were both Jewish and the "French guy" was a concentration camp survivor. I also liked the actress who played a secretary on the first season, she reminded me of a nice teacher I had in 5th grade. Thanks for the post.

  • True. In fact the actor who played Klink, Werner Klemperer, was the son of a famous German Jewish composer (Otto Klemperer) who was persecuted by the Nazis. He was also related to Victor Klemperer whose famous published diaries paint a vivid description of a Jew's life in the Third Reich.

  • I didn't know about Victor Klemperer, which just makes this show even more special. They had a great cast. Too bad that Bob Crane was murdered so soon thus no reunion show (except for the AutoFocus reinacting movie). I would've love to see a movie, say in early 1960s where Hogan actually helps Klink and Shultz escape from East Berlin.

  • @CaptainNomura I like your comments on Hogan's Heroes. I mysel see Hogan's Heroes as a tribute to our freedom - the freedom to poke fun at Nazis - something we may not have today if Hitler had won the war!

  • carter was great my dad doses a good hitler impretion too.

  • I can't get over how someone finally got the idea of posting this old show on youtube! I always used to watch it and now i get to re-live my olden days.

  • Carter is my hero -- this episode had me in stitches :) Thanks for sharing!

  • Carter is just amazing.

He sure plays a good hitler thats for sure.

This episode and then the one were they have a

german spy in the camp and Carter again plays hitler to find out who the spys contact is are 2 of my fav episodes.

Thanks again for posting so many episodes
