  • love this song! can't get it out of my head!

  • Maybe it just me but some steps lack amplitude, e.g. walks on 0:21-22.

  • @DanceAffectionist

These are Voltas, they are danced with connection from the rearward knee to the front hollow of the knee, therefore they can't have the amplitude of samba walks! But I also guess, that it's an interpretation of Franco and Oxana to have a visible contrast between none bounced voltas to hip accentuated backrocks! But that's just my incidental opinion ;) I'm sure both are able to dance very grounded and heavy bounced voltas, if intended!

These are stationary samba walks on 0:20-0:22, not voltas :) IMHO they simply do not overstrain themselves with max movement amplitudes in the basic variations.

Whoops, sorry! I watched 0:22 - 0:24, didn't recognize I was at the wrong position in the video! :)

Yap, now I understand what you just said! And you're right, i also think they dance reserved due to the basic variations! Still impressive! :) I really adore Franco. Oh, and talking about not overstraining, at 3:02 they begin with their actual routine, and look at those whisks!!! Awesome!

  • I don't think Formica will ever be rid of those whisks of his...
