  • LISTEN, UNDERSTAND, DECIDE. RON PAUL 2012

A vote for Dr. Paul is a vote for yourself. He wants to limit gov intrusiveness in our lives & allow US to make our own choices. Stop politicians & the elites from thinking that they’re so smart that they know how to run our lives better than we do. He is one of the few politicians that will make difficult decisions, he will balance the budget by his 3rd year, while most politicians plan to balance the budget after their term is over

    VOTE RON PAUL 2012

  • And to think this was before the current crisis...

If it was rotten then, how much more is it rotten now?

  • Listen to this man, listen how calm he is. He sound so noble, no sign of arrogancy or something else. All he say is true and I hope people will listen to him and rise up against the EU wich is killing our national identity and liberty.

Nigel Farage and Dan Hanna, the few man who have the balls to say what the medium class think. Thank you gentleman!

  • Let's have one fact debunked, to be par tof europe it only cost the UK 1 billion quid, that's all. Daniel Hannan is for south america, he isn't British and spends less time in the UK than your average American. As for his economic knowledge, he wants the UK to be like...ICELAND..and we know how they crashed oweing us money, so he's never done a days work. Been a Euro MP and nothing else. PS Norway, really with those taxes....so much bullshit and so much ignorance.

  • Good man, a whistleblower and someone with the balls to point out the truth.

  • EU-ECB :New Jobs+Growth plan is a must, media manipulators w/ 3 Credit Rating Agencies & Gold ETF shorters are pushing nonsense stories to crash EU markets and get assets very cheap(EADS,energy...)and to distract from NewsCorp.-Murdoch crimes, solution:Solar-Wind-Wave Energy,hybrid-electric plug-in cars-trucks,geothermal- fuel-cells, filters-soaps for coal power plants,bio-fuels-camelina-seaweeds-jet-fuel, manufacturing+ installation: where is the new Plan +new Jobs? financialtools1.blogspot.com

  • @selloneciorpi - ~ 50000 too many for my liking and the majority of my fellow Europeans too would be very glad to see the back of them. They are corrupt, arrogant incompitent and morally repulsive. If we were back in the 18th century there would be a pile of 50,000 heads and the world a much better place because of it

  • Search google for the 'People's Pledge' and 'EU referendum campaign' and show support.

  • dan mate tell this to cameron he lied about the lisbon treaty and he wont give us a eu vote

  • I totally agree with Mr Hannan. The UK survived many years without the EU and had fantastic international relations within Europe. The EU just sucks money out of the UK and places massive constraint upon our legal system, government and public services (the police in particular). With the amount of money we pump daily into the EU, this could be used to clear the deficit!

  • There's nothing wrong with a federal europe;

What issues the eu has should be solves, the eu need not be dissolved because it isn't perfect; I not only hope the UK doesn't leave the eu, I hope the EFTA countries join it, including even Switzerland and i am delighted Iceland decided to join!!! Not to mention I hope ukraine, Serbia , croatia everybody left even maybe turkey

  • @bbphnix - You're the worst kind of zombie, the one who wants to give power freely to a few to govern all aspects of life in all countries. The EU is a short step to totalitarianism, but if you enjoy being a slave then by all means, do. The rest of us will fight to remain free and sovereign.

  • @veradinx I am no zombie; if the EU has defects than they should be solved, including increased power to the people and transparency;

but don't throw away the EU entirely; I want to see an USE; and one that would be a global superpower, spreading democracy to the rest of the world through political and economic pressure and do a much better job at this spreading than the US....

  • @bbphnix - oh yes, let's apply pressure on other nations to behave in the manner we deem they should. I know a few other people who think along your lines: Lenin, Stalin, Hitler.

  • Daniel, your an outstanding politician and intelect.Infact, your the best politician i have ever heard.I just hope one day that you will be our prime minister and for at least 20 years.Keep sinking your teeth into martin schulz and those other killers of freedom and democracy and get us the hell out of the EU plz.

You sir, make me proud to be british, god bless.

  • its not an alternative view its the mainstream view brits want out of this scam union

  • Dan, come to Switzerland with me and fight the poisonous mixture of german capitalist-communism together with me.

    I love your speech !

  • The Bilderberg Group acts as a “secretive global think-tank,” with an original intent to “to link governments and economies in Europe and North America amid the Cold War.”[5] One of the Bilderberg Group’s main goals was unifying Europe into a European Union - Declassified documents (released in 2001) showed that “the US intelligence community ran a campaign in the Fifties and Sixties to build momentum for a united Europe. It funded and directed the European federalist movement . infowars.com

  • The EU will soon declare this hate speech and outlaw it. GB, you're great. Don't sell your hard-won sovereignty that you fought off armadas and Continental Fascists to achieve.

  • I wish the USA had this guy standing up for the average Joe. We are going down the same road you guys are trying to correct...

  • David Cameron = Neville Chamberlain

    Lisbon Treaty 2009 = Munich Agreement 1938

    Vote UKIP.

  • except for things wich are to blame to your own government and EU gets blamed for

  • @jh5kl I agree, all Govts can now hide decisions, that they agreed to behind locked doors, on the Commission which take the ideas of the council and make them fit the EU federal progression. So it is really simple, NO EU, no one for our Govts to hide behind when they agree to poor decisions.

  • @wjf0ne lol, I was talking about this video. the problem you are talking about is (unfortunely) a usual problem of politics from the beginning of times. wait, i take that back, its a human problem. politicians are just in a position where they are able to exploit even more. long live the EU.

  • @jh5kl At least politicians can be got rid off with an election. Commissioners are a different matter, and they are the ones on big pay, perks, privilege and pension, and they are the people in the position to drive the agenda. People, that is the ordinary people must be able to steer the agenda and not allow federalists to take control. How is it done? I'm buggered if I know beyond encouraging referenda on major issues, and I dobn't think the elite would like that. Death to the EU. ;-)

  • @wjf0ne weel, you cannot get rid of queens and kings, and apparently it does not bother some people, lol. politicians have a maximum period that they can be in office. how to control the agenda? :) I do it, you most likely also, we do it. by the way I am not a federalist, I prefer to go federalist than to break apart, but I am not federalist.

  • lol, lies, lies lies

  • international unions are just another way of giving the wrong people more power, this whole thing reeks of control, on the surface to a optimistic onlooker sure it may be nice cause you can travel freely, there isnt as much tax on goods being traded, but do any of these hippie love assholes understand what it means for countries with weak economies? it doesnt help them it does them more harm, some countries can barely stay afloat using their own currency, how will they be able to handle de euro?

  • Why is this man a Conservative MP and not a UKIP member?

  • IowaArmen, some evidence please? I mean, anything which would back up your string of unsupported silliness would be nice.

To all the English europhobes out their, what alternative do you offer? More importantly, does it have a snowball's chance in Hell of ever happening? The EU is not perfect, but it is certainly better than the Europe of the 1950's and 1960's, where you basically needed a visa to go anywhere, foreign currency restrictions in nearly every country, etc. Go back to that?

  • Call me crazy, but if the EU continues to grow in power couldn't this lead to civil strife?

  • Gosh i wish we could borrow him in America!!!

  • @aurick7737 Their is no problem with the EU, to loss the EU Britain would be killing its self, it would destory all trade and in times of economic need we would be helpless.

  • @LordDrew112 how can you say it would destroy all trade???? did you not listen to a word he said.....did you not listen to at all as to how awesome the swiss trade is????

  • @LordDrew112 You don't believe that old rubbish!

We can not make our own trade agreements, look at India for one!

I now live in Asia and believe me Britain is living in the stone age!!

  • No that is soo untrue its laughable a load of bullshit the EU is a waste of time and money did u not even listen to what daniel said about the swiss look how succesful both the swiss and nowiegenas are they have done well how they are not letting the EU drag them down they make there own laws and can trade with whoever they like if anything we should be trading more with china they are the fasting growing economy in the world atm the EU is costly and a waste i hope we leave in the near future.

  • @charlieiscool1000 Switzerland is not rich because they are out of the EU. They are rich because they collect in their banks the dirtiest money in the world. Luxembourg does very similar things, being a founding member of the EU, having the Euro as currency and hosting many EU institutions, they are not less rich than Swiss people. Norway would be richer by joining the EU, in fact they already are in line with many EU requirements but being outside the club they don't get any benefit for it.

  • The EU is a waste of money time and effort we have to give billions to them each year in return for nothing but stupid laws and strictions they have made it harder to sell the products u want and have also banned certian things from supermarkts and so on they have NO right whats so ever telling any member state what do and thats a laugh Norway is far better off outside the EU if they had any sence they would stay well away from this corrupt nightmare people are fed up of this crap and want out.

  • @charlieiscool1000 Each country gives like 1% of its GDP per year to contribute to the EU club. Of this 1%, something like 1,5% is spent in salaries and other administrative expenses. All the rest is invested in projects of common interest for the European people agriculture, industry, education etc... The EU institutions employ something like 55.000 people. Which is not a lot if you think that a city like Paris has 50.000 employees.

  • @selloneciorpi 1% doesnt sound too bad.

Until you work out that 1% of Britains GDP is 13 billion pounds.

Instead of being in the EU we could bring tens of thousands of people out of poverty.

We could put thousands of police back on the beat.

Or we could pay winter fuel bills for millions of pensioners so they dont die this winter.

But no. For some reason they are using our taxes to line the pockets of people who are already very rich to begin with.

  • @2camjohn Obviously you listen to politicians that want to get elected and always tell nice things while ignoring everything the people don't want to hear. Today the GB gives 13 Billion to the EU, big deal. Does anyone know how much not having the EU is gonna cost? Wanna bet that it will cost even more? The 13 billion will never end up in the pockets of the poor brits. Politicians who claim that are just trying to get elected, and really couldn't care less about those poor brits, trust me.

  • @Contact902 I dont care what politicians are saying. Im teling you what that money could be used for.

Part of the problem with the EU is that they have the same attitude as you.

They think 13 billion pounds is not a lot of money.

They dont notice when it goes missing!

How about this instead. We leave the EU and use the money we save to increase the minimum threshold of tax for tens of thousands of working people.

That way the politicians dont get to touch the money in the first place.

  • @2camjohn What I was trying to say is: There must be a reason why the leading british politicians gave the money in the first place, and continue to do so. Will the money not go to unforeseen things when not in the EU? That's what I'm asking.

And you forget the British tendency to want to steer and control european politics, you cannot control something you're not in.

  • @Contact902 The reason British politicians love the EU is because it provides a nice place for them to retire after their real career is over.

Thats why politicians push for more integration in the EU even though the ordinary people they claim to represent are against it.

The ordinary Brit doesnt want to steer politics in europe either.

We just want good tourism and trade. Something the Euro currency has ruined completely.

  • @2camjohn I cannot really deny the euro currency thing, but if that were to change right now, it'd harm people more then it'd do any good, and that goes for everyone currently in the Eu, not just those few that are already in bad shape. When the EU clears up again, then it might be a good moment to consider leaving, because then it can be done w/o too much harm, but right now, it'll only end in tears, be it british or european.

  • @charlieiscool1000 If we could be like switzerland ,we would have been like them in 1914 and saved a lot of money and lives. As for china , east is east and west is best.

  • they force us to the eu because they want to force us into a war against the poor countries. I see a world of genocide coming to those in africa. we are sponsoring the big war that is coming.

  • the alternative view to the EU is to support it, i dont know anyone that supports this farce

  • I would rather live in poorer poland where my culture is my own than in france or britain where there are mosques on every corner and our women raped by darkies every day

  • school boy

  • sums up why we should not be in the union i know major started it but browns finished i don't see how we can leave!

  • What you need is Obama. We'll send him over there and please keep him there.

  • @garybsg

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    WE DONT WANT HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GTFO!!!!!

  • @CheeezMaster Damn it ! We've been trying to get rid of that fuck Obama and I can't find a home for him.

  • Daniel Hannan join UKIP !!

  • Thank you Mr. Hannan

I am proud to be swiss!

I hope all you (the UK) will get out of the EU in near future. I don't really belive it, but hope dies last!

Good luck in your fight for democracy!!

  • I wish for once people could see the good things the EU does. Examples conflict prevention and peace keeping. Humanitarian aid, re-building war torn countries cultural exchange/education. Anytime the news comes on its always the bad things the EU does. Also go to any other place outside of Europe/EU and see if you get the same human rights and liberties and protection as you do within the EU. This is why regional organisations model themself on EU, eg african union, South american union

  • it is a front to buy their image of legitimacy. but i agree that there are good things that the eu does. people do recognise this, it's just the bad things; creeping totalitarianism, corruption, don't bode well for a stable eu. do watch christopher story's lecture on eu corruption; very informative

  • Comment removed

  • @tku28 Are you saying that only EU is able to do this? Not the sovereign states? Humanitarian aid - where do you think the bureaucrats get the resources to do so? Same goes for everything else. Humand rights and liberties are taken away by EU bureaucrats, one doesn't get to decide about their economic freedom anymore, human liberties are next.

  • @tku28 utter shill for the EU! OPEN YOUR EYES! THIS MAN IS TELLING THE TRUTH!

  • @tku28 People cannot see what they do not want to see. EU is a great thing, and is so sad that European for first cannot see that. I really hope in a European Revolution, something that will make us see that the problem is not that there is too much EU but less! We need a real European federation, without USA and China will destroy us.

  • @tku28

All the things you listed were done by various countries of Europe (the continent) before the EU, the EC, the EEC, and the ECSC existed. You're talking as if the good things of the modern world only came into existence with the EU, as if the world began yesterday. It didn't. All of the things you mention began way before the EU and would still be happening irrespective of the EU, because they're done by sovereign countries as well as by pooled resources such as the UN and Nato.

  • The EU parliament is NOT legitimate and it's members not democratically elected. Neither does it represent the peopleS of Europe ( see last years verdict on the Lisbon treaty/constitution by the German Constitutional Court ).

Check out the EU's own paramilitary, google : European Gendarmerie Force.

Give us back " A government for the people, for the people, by the people ".

See you in the "EU Re-educational" Gulag in Rumania,...maybe next year.

  • I was once for the EU but the fact that it is SO un-democratic, has scared me away. Where is the referendom? if people vote yes, then fair enough we will have the Lisbon Treaty.

  • I really cant stand this man.

Long live the European Union.. with Britain as a member!

  • You can't stand this man because he speaks about just how corrupt the EU is?

To be quite honest you seem to be a walking contradiction. On one hand you talk about British sovereignty, but on the other you supposedly support the EU. Well I'm afraid that they are mutually exclusive entities and it's time you grew a pair and decided which you prefer; your country or your communist dream.

  • Its not just his views on the EU i hate, his disgusting attack on the NHS was pretty bad as well, hes also gone out of his way to mislead americans about the problems with their healthcare system.

I support the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. That is a sovereign state able to withdraw from the EU at any time if it chooses to. Membership of the EU is a good thing for Britain.

There is no contradiction in my views.

  • Let me correct a few of your misconceptions:

    1) Being a member of the Free Trade Union is good for Britain, being part of a Stalinist political system that the British tax payer is having to foot the bill for is not!

    2) How long do you think it will be before we're using Euro's? Browns sold the gold reserves and our currency is in the toilet. No gold in which to value a currency means we will never be able to leave the EU once we go over to it's economic system... ERM anyone?

  • As for the NHS, ultimately in principle I disagree with him on this, but lets face it the NHS has never worked correctly and throwing bundles of money at it doesn't fix anything it just creates more middle management jobs in the public sector.

  • The NHS works far better than he makes out. I agree it wastes money but it has radcally improved over the past decade.

One of the reasons we have worse healthcare in this country to others is because we are more of a drain on the system, huge money is wasted because of our out of control binge drinking culture not scene on the continent.

Most of those who go to A+E on friday / saturday nights are drink related. Most of those doctors could be working during the day instead.

  • No a free trade union is not enough, Europe when it agrees needs to be able to speak with one voice in other areas.

I support the EU i oppose joining the euro,, there are far too many negatives when it comes to the euro. Brown is not going to take Britain into the euro, theres simply no support for it. Britain does not have to join the euro.

  • Brown/Blair have done more to push us towards the Euro in their respective tenures than any other politicians to date. He can't be a complete moron, there is no other explanation of why he announced and sold the gold reserves at the bottom of the market.

The fact that a free trade union is "not enough" is a complete fallacy. We have just as strong military and economic ties to commonwealth countries as we do to anyone in the Eurozone. It works fine for Norway and we're just as close to them.

  • As for the NHS I will say one thing and one thing only:

There are SO MANY more managers and administrators employed in the NHS than there are doctors and nurses. I ask you were is the logic in that?

  • If we leave the EU we have no control over its membership or direction. Atleast as members we have veto power over all EU foreign policy matters.. If the EU is as dangerous as some suggest we cant risk being on the outside of such a dangerous superstate on our border.

As for the NHS it has huge problems and huge waste, but the basic principles of the NHS and the service it provides are still very good and wed be much worse off with the US type of system that Dan defends.

  • Churchill said: we are with Europe but not of it. The price of membership is far to high in civil liberties, money and governance to justify being in the EU.

Norway has no interest in adopting EU policy because they know it would take away their freedoms and bleed them dry financially.

Even if Brown was a huge retard he would know not to announce the sale before he sold it, and if he didn't 1 of his many cronies would have.

I might be inclined on principle to agree with you on the NHS.

  • Churchill also said:

" If Europe were once united in the sharing of its common inheritance, there would be no limit to the happiness, to the prosperity and the glory which its three or four million people would enjoy. "

"What is this sovereign remedy? It is to re-create the European Family, or as much of it as we can, and to provide it with a structure under which it can dwell in peace, in safety and in freedom. We must build a kind of United States of Europe."

    Read his famous Zurich Speech

  • hundred million*

"And why should there not be a European group which could give a sense of enlarged patriotism and common citizenship to the distracted peoples of this turbulent and mighty continent and why should it not take its rightful place with other great groupings in shaping the destinies of men?"

"If we are to form the United States of Europe or whatever name or form it may take, we must begin now."

"we must re-create the European family in a regional structure"

  • His Zurich speech was primarily about the French and Germans patching things up after WW2. It was also about fighting communism in Eastern Europe. It would be remiss of you to neglect the quotes about him stating that this should occur without the involvement of Great Britain. This being one very important caveat regarding this particular speech.

  • I didnt avoid the point churchill didnt think we needed to be part of it. I pointed out at the time he didnt, but that was because we had a empire and commonwealth at the time.

That time has gone. The Commonwealth of nations will not have the sort of voice on the world stage the British Empire and commonwealth did.

  • It is true at the time churchill didnt think we should be part of it all because we had the commonwealth and empire. Times change, since Churchill died all the former British colonies around the world have gained independence. Today we need EU membership.

Norway adopt many of the EUs basic principles like free movement of labour and open borders. As does switzerland. The process of integration is ongoing, in time they will see no reason not to join as they are signed up to many things anyway

  • Our system (US) has its problems, but it's not dictated by bureaucrats. THAT is the problem with the NHS and other systems like it. as others have said, your system has more administrators than doctors...that's more than a huge problem, as you say- it's an irreparable problem in a socialized system. there are other solutions rather than nationalizing the entire system.

  • There is huge waste in our system yes. How ever it is still the case you spend more per person in the USA on medical costs than we do here in Britain. It is the case that none of the political parties here want to radically reform our NHS (Not just mainstream parties but most fringe ones too). Yet in the USA one thing both republicans and Democrats agree on is your system needs some major change.

Obamas proposals are not good and would simply damage the US economy too much at this time.

  • But the NHS Is a great institution which does not deserve some of them myths put out there by those against healthcare in the USA.

We have a system that helps everyone. Those who do not want to wait in line can choose to go private, we have private health insurers and hospitals here too, but most use the NHS even the well off who could easily afford to go private

Its nice not worrying about bills when going to hospital or see doctors. Especially as there u have to worry about losing insurance

  • I agree the US suddenly nationalize its whole health industry, you guys are far more against paying taxes than we are here.

But there are benefits to such a system. For example, its in the NHS and British governments interests to prevent bad health. To avoid a drain on the NHS we must push for reducing drinking, smoking, obesity etc and we spend money doing that.

In the USA do health insurers and doctors really want everyone to be healthy when they profit by putting up costs on sick people.

  • yeah Zen0xious, i feel for our brothers and sisters in the UK....and even with Hannan and others SCREAMING at us in America to not go down that route, our stupid ass Congress and President keep trying to shove it down our throats

  • Brown/Blair had a huge majority between 1997 - 2005 with huge public support, if they had really wanted to push us into the euro they could have done it. There is anoter explanation for him selling our gold at low levels, hes incompetent.

Norway will one day join the eu, they already are part of the open border area unlike Britain and they along with switzerland comply with free movement of labour allowing EU citizens to live / work in their countries.

We must remain in to help control it

  • British referendum for EU? How about a referendum for Scotland. Having to suffer under British sovereignty. I hope they get a referendum to declare independence.

  • Dont be stupid, the majority of scots want to remain part of the U.K. They would still be running around worshipping trees if it wasnt for the rest of us.

  • less than 20% of the electorate in Scotland have voted for a party calling for a referendum on Scottish independence. That is why there is no referendum.

    Separatism will be crushed.

  • The Labour-loved European Union is spiralling into debt, with mammoth fraud and incompetence trashing the EU inside and out.

But that won't stop EU penpushers holding member states to ransom by taking them to court to snatch their multi-million Pound wage claims!

Paste title into the bar: EPIDEMIC EU FRAUD AND DEBT NO BARRIER TO EUROCRAT WAGE CLAIMS!

  • Daniel Hannan was born in Peru. He is not eligible to work in Europe or GB. He is an illegal immigrant! Repatriate him to Peru and lets keep Paddington Bear. He is from Irish background and we never vote Tory!

  • you are crazy

  • @domjuanify: Illegal immigrant? Yes, i'm sure an MEP can be an illegal immigrant. He may have been born in Peru, but i'm pretty sure he's British.

  • The irish vote however they are told. Thanks for the yes vote

  • I think a democracy has never worked and can't work in any country. Technology is the only method which improves our lives effectively. Not some lairs that tell you what you want to hear and once they are in power they show a total different agenda. How many times do we have to see that happening? We don't need to vote for people that will make decisions that they aren't trained to make. Technicians and scientists give us the prosperity, let them solve the problems, they already do BTW...

  • Oh im sorry how many european people died in both WW. There is no place for national pride in Europe only our culture. The EU only standardize the market. I rather be a major play in Europe than the 51st state of America. Where is the pride in a British PM kissing the cheeks of the president and not the French way. The EU has brought one thing and that is peace one that is not hiden under the rubble. Yes it has to be absolutely answerable to european people. Where not a world power anymore

  • Why would you join America?.

    Become an independent country.

Like the Swiss they didn't join us. LOL.

  • The EU brings prosperity and made us the N1 economic power in the world. Achievement by one of us is shared with all of us. The media have lied by only giving one side of the story, it is unbanlanced. Its by far not perfect but reform is needed not absolute change.

  • PacmanX...you are speaking about myths here.

1.The EU does not just "standardise" the market,it's un-elected commission dictates how we live our lives as 84% of legislation originates in Brussels.

2.The EU was not responsible for "peace in Europe"...NATO was.

3.There is no such thing as a "European people" (read the German Constitutional Court ruling from July).

P.S. Since when has it been a negative thing to be proud of your country ?

Merry Christmas & a democratic new year.

  • So have a President, senate and representives elected by a two round voting system.

The presidents cabinet will be created by 10 senators from different countries and elected into postions by the representatives.

The EU brought internal peace it is impossible for war to happen within the EU because it would destroy every one in it.

It has never be a negative thing, im always proud of being British the largest empire and only global language. But not if it stops us from progresing

  • Sorry Merry Christmas & a conservative new year.

  • This would be as illegal as a putsch attempt !

"Without the EXPRESSLY DECLARED WILL OF THE PEOPLES,the elected bodies are not competent to create a new subject of legitimisation,or to delegate the existing ones in the constitutional areas of their states"

    (German Constitutional Court ruling,paragraph 347.30 June 2009).

Luckily, millions still remember what real democracy means : "A government of the people,by the people, for the people".

    Happy Christmas.

  • Then the EU should campaign for why this Union is important and that is why it needs to be more demorcratic. Plus if the majority of member state parliments vote against a treaty or law within a month (treaty) year (law) then it is vetoed making the third chamber of democracy the memberstates

    Happy Christmas :)

  • The BNP may indicate that they are for the people of Britain, but there are many minority groups that are British and the BNPs agenda does not take them people into account. Please do not waste your vote on the BNP, no other political party will work with them. In this coming election we need to look at UKIP, the other parties will work with them and the best we can look for is a hung parliament, for future elections UKIP can only become stronger. VOTE UKIP FOR BRITAIN. VOTE UKIP

  • Go BNP !! Minorities are corrupting Europe and America.

  • the only party that cares about our country is the BNP they are the ones that will give us a referendum we should not allow tony blair to become president of eu because he comited war crimes by sending our troops to afghanistan and iraq based on a lie if you care about this country and democracy then vote BNP don't believe the lis about the bnp they are not nazi they are the only ones that speak the truth so put your cross in right box vote BNP

  • Interesting how all of Dan's constituents have such a disdain for the EU. It would have been so refreshing if he had featured a single English person who actually expressed support for the EU. Unfortunately, this video has all the resonances of propaganda, as opposed to objective, independent comment. Rich that Hannan criticises the EU for its lack of balance (when his own video does precisely the same). Is every single person in Dan's constituency actually opposed to the EU?

  • the government of Britain offers money for immigrants to leave Britain. Now that they have 'sold us down the river' could I apply for the money to escape slavery to the European state!

  • I'm voting UKIP to get out of this dreaded EU. It's only a plus for the political class.

  • It's interesting to see a video from two years ago - "drifting into a federal state" is now a fait accompli.

  • there is only one way to go

    grab pitch forks and torches

and march on to eu praliment

  • EU as it is today sounds like a plan hatched along time ago. Whether it's something thats just evolved or not, I'll go further. I think it's related to the one world government plans of the NWO. A similar EU like plan seems to be on the horizon in America, Asia and Australia.

  • Polictians commited treason by taking us into this mess and it was politicians of all parties. They should be jailed.

  • @DumblyBrilliant Far to kind...a working democracy ostracises. Exile is no further expense for the taxpayer.

  • @DumblyBrilliant I like more executed ....

  • There is only one way to go.

And that is out od the eu.

  • 3:00 he is right, our entry into the EU was illegal.

what the EU are doing is a god dam disgrace.

  • Totalitarian states also :

6.Have a propoganda machine (the EU "information" budget was 2.4 BILLION Euros for 2008,see Open Europe).

7.Need a powerful military : "The need to bolster Europe's military capabilities to match our aspirations is more urgent than ever" (Javier Solana).

8.Change the language. Country becomes "state",love of country becomes "nationalism",democratic will becomes "populist" ,law becomes "directive"etc.

77% of Europeans wanted a vote on Lisbon !

  • this isnt an alternative view, this is the common view outside the labour party, and still they refuse to listen.

  • don't say that as though the tories aren't just as behind the EU as labour.

hannan is one of the few conservatives within the tory party.

  • thank the gods hes not a real MP

  • theres never gonna be united europe face it britain dont want and by the end its just gomm lead a europeian cival war beetween countries an EU gonna be destroyed face it its human nature

  • "There are no plans for an EU army."

" I am sure that in medium-term we will have a European army financed by the EU budget" (German ambassador to the EU,W. Schönfelder).

"The (un-elected) commission respects Ireland's (democratic) No vote"

"The European Arrest Warrant is for serious crime only" ( google : Fair Trials International,European Gendarmerie Force,EU Corpus Juris).

"The EU brings peace" but we could all be at war post-Lisbon Treaty : article 47(7)28a TEU

    Don't trust liars !

  • Most people don't even know or care what the Eu is about.

So the people who are saying ' down with the nationalists'

    go and die!

We signed up to a simple trade agreement that's it, they have hollowed us out and are splitting us apart.

How comes you hardly hear about this life changing issue?

Britain stand together, it's time to put are problems aside.

    We are stronger together!

  • My brother has lived in Germany for twenty years. I sent him this video. He had no idea there was any conflict in the way the EU is run.

  • I agree 100% with everything he said. I am about to move to Switzerland exactly because of the bullshit that is shoved up our ass by the European Union.

  • let the people of britain choose because this is about our heritge we made most of the modern world thy want to take tht away from us we will never let thm RULE BRITTANIA

  • it`s not drifting into a federal europe....it is going along it`s planned course....europe amalgamation....african amalgamation.....north america etc., continents....then we`ll have the big merge....the new world facist order.....one government-world rule-one religion=satanism

  • You don't need a power hungry superstate to prevent war. The Common market has served its purpose, Europe will not be at war again, but they keep seeking more and more power.

  • Don't be so sure perfacetus !

Member States are obliged to help if another member is the "victim of armed aggression" article 47(7)28a TEU Lisbon treaty/constitution. Do you know what a "false flag" operation is ?

Wait untill Turkey joins and there is "an incident" on the border with Iran or Syria !

    Europe YES !

    Brussels NO !

  • all i have to say fuck the EU we made our trade our lives our homes out freedom on this land not in europe in britain and i dont think we will give it up over the toilet paper tht says lisbon treaty like churchill says we will fight on the beaches we will fight in the fields we fight in our homes u will never take our freedom and our way of life

  • if the churchill srry im rlly cant full thing and if iv got it wrong sorry

  • How many EU burocrats does it take to ban a lightbulb ?

120,000 EU burocrats are at work and what's going to be next ?

    My guess :

A TOTAL BAN on the right to strike.

    If a strike restricts movement of capital,goods,persons & services.. it's illegal !

    (European Court of Justice ruling : C-438/05 & C-341/05).

A TOTAL BAN on smoking (outside of EU buildings).

A TOTAL BAN on demonstrations (google . European Gendarmerie Force).

The Lisbon constitution will be the end of liberty in Europe.

  • What liberty? European people have always liked totalitarianisms. They vote for them repeatedly. You get what you deserve - libery has to be protected at every turn not just enjoyed.

  • exactly

  • We the people, united we stand, againt the tyrants of the EU. Let us refresh the tree of liberty with the blood of patriots and tyrants! Who's with me?

  • me too

  • Our un-elected masters in Brussels have got that one already covered !

Google : European Gendarmerie Force !

  • this hannon chap is fast becoming someone I admire and understand for he speaks the truth, quite unusual for an elected rep of GB,now theres a laugh,GREAT BRITAIN,can you remember when it was, more like the pits now.Can we make it great again, with people like hannon, the answer is yes because the man is obviously british, honest and forthright. You have my vote. Please keep up the good honest work. Please vote UKIP,

  • He is great, I had no idea he existed untill today. People here don't are largely ignorant about European institutions and their power. A guy like this should lead every country in Europe!

  • dan hannon, ditch the tories and start your own party with nigel farage. youl be prime minister come october

  • I agree. I think he would perform very well. I don't agree with all he has to say but I think it would form a good party. I don't like the conservative party, dare I say I prefer Labour and the Liberal Democrats.

  • i second that, respect

  • It is a monster out of control. An Enormous gravy Train.

Daniel Hannan should be British Prime Minister.

I emigrated to Norway. Best move I ever made.

  • It's about centralisation of power and global fascist state.

  • The UK....trying to do as well as Switzerland?

    Ahaha, good one! :D

  • One law for the politicians and one for the plebs -

Don't do as I do -- Do as I say!!!!

  • NOW WE WANT TO KNOW THE EU EXPENSES!!!

The accounts of the EU have NEVER been signed off by accountants because even THEY do not believe them!!

How can we vote for the EU when they vote to keep their expenses secret!!

PORK BELLY POLITICS. We the people count for nothing. we are simply the proletariat.

    MORE PLEBS PLEASE!

  • I can't wait to see the day Daniel Hannan is Prime Minister and along with a strong conservative american president will usher in an end to socialist policies around the world and bring both countries back to former glory.

Unfortunately this will take much time to happen. probably 10+ years. Much will have to be endured in that time.

  • These have been my views since from the beginning when Ted Heath bulldozed us into the common market, over the years I have written to MP's and asked anyone who was willing to discuss it, "what do we get for the millions we pore into the now eu", to date no one has been able to answer my question. The eu is doing to Britain what the past 2 wars were unable to.

  • You should have a look at the Galvin Report from 2008.

The Eu is all about Fraud. That's all it ever was. It's part of the building blocks of the New World Order, which is Dictatorship and loss of Freedom.

Global Banking System run by the IMF

Wiith the average birthrate for Europeans standing at around 1.4 children per family, in a generation or so, Europe will become a Muslim State. (8 children per family) Sharia Law will demand the Verichip for the Banking system. Which can be switched off..

  • We don't need the EU to be peaceful.

The EU is most certainly not as democratic as it claims to be (and that's being kind) and is chipping away at our own democracy, which has developed over many hundreds if not a thousand years and most of all we don't want a UNION!

Norway appears to have got the balance right and we need to leave the EU and start using the billions wasted wisely.
