i think its grayish just because most maps in black ops are dreary and not like the perfect day when you go out into the snow and some of the maps that it takes place in arent supposed to be pretty. its war and war is not pretty and i think treyarch did a good job capturing that

Dude I agree that this game is awesome and way better than Mw2. But I disagree with what you say about the maps. The maps are meant to be like that. Do you really think that the top of skyscrapers would be pretty? If you do your fucking stupid. Berlin wall looks run down and old. Radiation has nice color to. All the maps look amazing. They look like real war torn citys and areas. I just want them to come out with an American map. And I wish you could get on the ice in Stadium. That would be cool

I think you are being a bit harsh about ugly maps BO. Jungle, Firing Range, Nuketown are all nice looking maps.

As for snow maps Salvage (mw2 dlc1) didn't look very pretty but it was well designed. Discovery is a nice looking map. Summit makes Sub Base look unfinished.

@trautsj Yeah, it is less agrivating. Ghost is really not too bad. Everyone needs to stop relying on the minimap. You should be so incredibly focused on the minimap. if you are clearing a building, I suggest putting down a motion sensor. About second chance, it was worse in the previous call of duties.

Consoles are all about mainstream products. I find most mainstream games to be extremely primitive slaughter fests. Eventually, you'll end up being fed of it. I think Treyarch did a great job on the game I think that the Community just didn't know what they wanted.If you go on the CoD Forums everyone said they wanted a very balanced game.But I think they didn't realize that it can make the game a little less fun. So every time I pre-fire as I run into a building, I'll still fire let's say ten bullets as I enter the room but when I'm inside I'll only fire once or twice to get the kill. The ratio of pre-fire to "kill" bullets is much higher. Pre-fire Kill Ratio

I personally don't care about accuracy. For me it tells me pretty much nothing about the player. I've played a lot of FPS and I generally notice that most people's accuracy is anywhere from 15 to 18%. This is the general range I've seen through pretty much every FPS I've played.

I agree that dying deaths you don't deserve is a huge problem in first person shooters, and for that exact reason, I am extremely frustrated with Black Ops. Over half of my deaths are from ridiculous lag/hit detection problems, and not from my mistakes.

I can play any other FPS with a decent NAT2 connection and dominate, but for some reason about once every few games I play against people who's shots register before mine, and in the killcam it shows that I don't even fire, when I unloaded on them. Nat-Type = Skill?

MW2 still kicks ass but was annoying at times but sometimes u gotta grow a pair and fight fire with fire. Black Ops has shit for "OMG NOWAY" moments and hence takes away from the fun. MW2 had guns that were favoured but they got nerfed, Black Ops on the otherhand has yet to fix the AK74u issue. Maps with a good coulour scheme make the game more enjoyable and fun to play less of an eye sore.
