Anyways, I've always been a big fan of the 'active magic, passive magic' theories, especially in RPGs. (That way, you can justify mundane classes taking an impossible punishment and performing impossible physical feats! Whereas wizards are realistically frail because they project their magic outside of their bodies.)

There's a possibility that there is three way dominance: for example, Pegasus > Earth Pony > Unicorn > Pegasus. This always turns out with a certain race.
