  • ...I eat at Chez Nous?

  • TREVOR RABIN IS KILLER PLAYER . BUT JON ANDERSON IS ONE OF THE GREATEST VOCALS OF ALL TIME. NONE OF THESE AMERICAN IDOL IDOTS EVEN COME CLOSE . THIS ALMOST 30 YEARS OLD TOO .

  • very very good Music and super Video ^^

  • dentro de los 100 mejores real 80 clasicos etrnos. -

  • You may see many a comment from many a people, all I can say as my comment is, looks like a talented band playing a good song for their enjoyment, for the enjoyment of their fans and probably didn't care about money it generated for them too much at all. It is "YES" being alive, still doing what they love, still making a way in life. Much better then the generic people we meet everyday living off the government.

  • This as nothing to do with Yes as far as i'm concern !

  • are they clones? love the music, find the appearance interesting.

  • @CJ2020888

almost as if they are a parody of themselves. "pretty rock" ?

  • This is a gorgeous song...:)

  • Great song. Great album. Great band.

  • one of my all time favorite eighties songs simply because yes rocks without question.

  • Lucky to find this on a 46 r.p.m. YES!!!!

  • este tema lo colocaba cada vez q peleaba con mi novia como un aliciente para el alma y se arrreglaba nuestro problema como por arte de magia ... :)

  • This is a strange video. Chris Squire looks incredibly smug, while Jon Anderson......yikes. I mean I've seen him play guitar, so I know that he can do it, but it looks so fake here. Really good song though, and proof that Rabin and Squire could have done the vocals if they'd tried.

  • there are some really nice mullets in this video

  • The Yes comeback off the 80's, good stuff<3

  • If you read my original message I said its a good song. I was jsut commenting on the 80's style of clothing that the rock stars thought was cool then....a nd in my opinion it sucked....untwist your panties....music goooood......outfits.....bad. And yes some people did dress like that so go fuck yourself.

  • this is one of my favorite song ever!

  • Jon Anderson would have been perfect for a young Bilbo in the new LOTR flicks. They wouldn't have to worry about the height thing either.

  • Been a Yes fan for decades, I've seen them more than 15 times live. I can handle all the changes in the band EXCEPT replacing Jon, intolerable. Shitbox decade ???????? Where were you at? I was in my 20s and having a great time!

  • I know....HS class of 87......1982-1990 were the worst years of my life lol lots of tragic events personally. so my memories of that tiem were not good ones,.

  • How 80s guinea tees mini guitars....mullets long coats with big shoulder pads and some weird makeup to make him look almost alien....such a shitbox decade....pretty good song though

  • @NJtuber88 Trust me: in the 80s, everyone looked liked that. :)

  • @NJtuber88

the look of the gutter rat weirdos out there today and the past 15-20 years who cannot play one instrument is even worse than what some of 80s looked like. no one dressed like this in the 1980s just as not one dresses like emimen now. your first response should focus on how it sounds not how the artists look.

  • MMMMMM Muuuullllletttttssss

  • This band wasn't Yes. More like No.

  • I know some Yes fans don't like this period of the band's career, but you still have to admit this is a freakin' awesome song.

  • @Lotmeister

what year was this song out?

  • @The096757 Somewhere in the mid-late '80s. I myself didn't hear it until I became a Yes fan in the early '90s and bought a cut-out cassette of the album it's on, "Big Generator," in '94.

  • @Lotmeister

The video looks like the 1980s but the sound is hard for me to pinpoint a certain time.

this song was not heard much. the fact that i cannot identify its year proves it was not heard much but it does sound like GTR which came out summer/fall 1986.

  • WITH KITTY..I KNOW MY ODD SUCK...BUT.....THATS LIFE..THANX FOR CHANGING MY LIFE AND SETTING ME FREE FROM MY PAST AND HELPING ME MOVE ON, EVEN WITH OUT U...I WILL ALWAYS LOVE U AND U WILL BE MY FRIEND FOREVER....GOOD LUCK SWEETIE AND WISH ME THE SAME..DAMN....WISH I WAS WITH U...XO...pete

  • YES: I also eat at Chez Nous...

  • I like all the instruments used in this song. All of these guys look like there enjoying this song.

Jon and Trevor put that extra quality into the song.Trevor is such a good writer! To see this video after all these years is so cool. Thanks for the upload. Last time I heard Trevor and his family were living close to me in California. Wish I could learn how to play the guitar by Trevor, and do the sound mixes he does.

  • This song is totally egggggggggggggggggs-cellent. Especially when I'm high on weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed..Yes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Keep listening guys it gets better with time. In 1980 I was bartending at the Lehigh Tavern and YES played at the University in 1983. I did not meet the woman I searched for all my life until April 2010. So hold in there it will come and it will be worth every minute of waiting.

  • Great song but man did the 80s suck for hair and fashion

  • daora

  • I SURE HOPE SO...DAMN..DAMN..DAMN..DAMN...DIDNT GET TO WIN OVER THE ONE I REALLY WANTED AND ITS STILL KILLING ME AND HOLDING ME BACK...DAMN..DAMN...DAMN.....

  • thanks Yes,and thanks iranweed

  • holky mullets

  • rock in roll hall of fame they need about 5 differant halls music all some so differant yes probably told them to hit the road doesnt mean shit they and we no it

  • 5 people lost their way.

  • Without Trevor Rabin, this band would have never made the killer comeback they did in the 80's. He brought this band back into the light.

  • @hellmutt1969 Trevor Rabin isn't even in the same league as Steve Howe. They got lucky and played upon their former glory to come back. And now they tour without Jon ANderson. What a joke.

  • @MinstrelDavid . That is a matter of opinion, and has nothing to do with my statement, seeing as though Steve Howe wasn't even with the band at that time. I never said that Rabin was better than Howe. R abin WAS instrimental in the bands comeback in the 80's. 90125 was YES's biggest commercial success, and Rabin wrote most of the material.

  • @hellmutt1969 He really wanted Rick Wakemen as the keyboardist. Think how much better those albums would have been. Squire still might have left after Big Generator, taking the Yes name with him. Or he might have stayed? Rabin brought Yes a lot of money with "Owner" alone, while keeping hard-core fans like my dad and uncle at their concerts. Yes never never where popular before 90215. Lack of radio friendly songs. Except a few songs from the Yes album and Fragile.

  • @hellmutt1969 That seems right...

  • @hellmutt1969 Actually you have to thank Trevor Horn because of his great work as a producer in 90125

  • I'm from Argentina (24 years old) and I believe that YES, RUSH and GENESIS (Gabriel era) are the best bands ever.

  • Steve Howe rocks!!!!! Almost as good as Lifeson!

  • @SRTST51 almost? Alex Lifeson? He's pretty good but, he's way more simple. This is Rabin playing you know? Unless you already knew and you were just talking about Steve Howe in general. Well, it's all progressive rock anyhow, that's what matters.

  • @94AccordAW Way more simple? I have to strongly disagree. Lifeson 25 years ago was more complex than Howe or Rabin. Lifeson now is incomprehensible as far as complexity goes, But that is because he hasn't stopped PROGRESSING like Howe and Rabin have. Heard any recent YES releases? No i didnt think so. We could only wish. Heard any recent RUSH releases? yes. Snakes and Arrows and now CLOCKWORK ANGELS. RUSH is still progressing.

  • @SRTST51 What are talking about? Yes released "Fly From Here" in the summer of 2011, and "Live from Lyon" in late of last year.

  • @94AccordAW "Fly From Here" is FANTASTIC!!

  • @SRTST51 While I agree that Alex (my hero by the way) was more complex in his arrangements 25 years ago, I think the roles have reversed. Rabin is composing soundtracks, Howe just released "Fly From Here" with Yes which is fantastic...but Lerxst seems to be plodding along with Caravan and BU2B. He doesn't seem to be pushing the envelope anymore. This along with Neil's recent lyric themes and Ged's declining live voice have put them in the back seat for me. The new Yes is riding shotgun

  • They omitted the violin intro :\

  • still i liked Steve Howe better

  • Hell Yes!!!

  • I was around for the original Yes, but with Trevor they kicked ass, too. What a killer guitarist and composer.

  • Yes still isn't in the fu*king Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Though Billy Joel and Madonna are.

  • @DitchBiscuit Rignt on.

  • @DitchBiscuit Fuck the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Jann Wenner has no clue what real rock and roll is about.

  • @DitchBiscuit

no one in their right mind would pay to go into the rock and rock hall of circus freaks. beastie boys who cannot play one instrument infected it this past year but Heart was not included.

it has as much to do with rock as mtv has to do with music.

  • @DitchBiscuit Billy Joel definitely deserves it! I personally wouldn't say the same for Madonna.

  • @DitchBiscuit Or as Eddie Trunk calls it: The Rock n Roll Hall of Shame. And Disgrace. Until bands like Maiden, Judas Priest, Yes, and Rush are in there, it will be called the Hall Of Shame.

  • @DitchBiscuit I get Billy Joel.Madonna?

  • @smiguet yes progresive rock, madona billy joel pop shit

  • YES IT WILL , WE TRY TO HIDE FROM IT , NOT LETTING IT INTO OUR HEARTS!

  • This track is like dove jizz down the small of your back

  • OMG, I was chasing a girl who I married in LA then divorced. "Love" did not find a "way"

Alas, that was 20 years ago, I still LOVE Yes! and I am happy in Idaho...

    Love DID find a way...

  • J'adoooooooooore

  • Squire is hilarious.

  • In this video looks like Anderson had using some kind of drugs...Appears he are in other world!!

  • @Guisawyer Nah, just stoned as usual.

  • @Guisawyer

    & what about the guitar?

    tuned with the dress?

    strange time the late 80's

  • Anyone ever eaten at Chez Nous?

  • Just checking, but does anyone know for sure if Chris Squire was the only member of Yes to be with the band for the entire time?

  • @StevenKyleTurner Yes, I believe Wikipedia said that very same thing.

  • @StevenKyleTurner Chris Anderson. Tony Kaye was the original keys. White joined when when Bill Burford left.

  • @StevenKyleTurner - According to Wikipedia ? Yes. (ie affirmative)

  • This was a great album in the 80's, I bought it as soon as it was released. But I'm sorry, without Steve Howe or Rick Wakeman, it's just not the same!

  • @vertigogo7777 I was just desperate to hear something new by Yes. I hear you!

  • Please tell me: where is this "Chez Nous" I wish to eat there too.

  • Reminds me of "Since You've Been Gone" from The Outfield.

  • This is one of many songs by YES!!!

  • @eagleeye654 Is it now?! Jesus!

  • @binman702 Who Knew! lol

  • BUT CAN NEVER GIVE UP ON KITTY...DAMN....LOVE IS LIKE A DRUG, A SERIOUS ADDICTION, WHICH CAN ALSO BE A DOWNFALL..DAMN..DAMN..DAMN..KITTY...X0X0X

  • HOLY SHIT...EVEN AFTER DISAPPOINTMENT WITH KITTY, IS THERE A WAY TO WIN HER AND KEEP HER FOR MINE??????I DOUBT IT...DAMN..X0X0X0

  • A nice song but without howe neither seems nor sounds like yes

  • @jawadehud this version of 'yes' was primarily a trevor rabin project. when howe departed for asia and rabin stepped in, about half of the stuff they recorded over three albums was material rabin had already written prior to joining the band.

  • This song rocks, plain and simple... I can't think of a rock group since Yes that has had such amazing combined vocal harmony.

  • This is a great video. I just wonder every time I see it why the excellent violin into was not included. Regardless, both song and video are terrific.

  • Yes's vision, like some other bands, expresses the very best things. I wonder if anyone could get a record contract now by doing that.

  • 10 sound too! love yes

  • a great song a beauty liryc.

here is my hearth wating for you.

  • a great song a beauty lirycs.

  • classic riff

    looks like the mentalist

  • classic riff

  • ONE OF THE BEST , ALSO AIM HIGH < SHOOT LOW

  • sweet BAC-111 in the background just adds to the excellent music.

  • My favorite song by Yes, close second is Owner Of A Lonely Heart.

  • Thumbs up. Five stars. In a score of 1 to 10, I give this a 10, and that is why I am adding this to my playlist Ruby 40 Macrotalents, Megastars Please check it out in my channel. Thanks.

  • Gayer than dick in the ass gay.

  • @12dollarsand78cents It must be horrible trying to get through life with your apparent glaring level of ignorance.

    Poor kiddie.

  • Alway`s liked Tony Kay`s tastefull playing.

  • Just noticed twenty years that Trevor is playing a twelve string electric, who made it???

  • @NMNHTV13 believe it or not,,, it is made by VANTAGE

  • Im only 25 but bands like YES and RUSH are just too good and timeless. Richness for the ears and soul.

  • @lordertai you are right!!!!! completely!!!!

  • @lordertai RUUUSSHHHHH!!!!!!

  • @lordertai Well said sir. I started listening to Rush at 17. That was 1989. I picked up 2112 at my mom's request and then read Anthem by Ayn Rand. It has been an amazing Journey since that day.

  • From 4:06 to 4:10, Alan White just rips it up.

I've always enjoyed this tune. That whole album was great.

  • The guy on keyboards was a geriatric twenty freaking years ago. Cool song though.

  • This is clasic rock at its best. just listen to it. this kind of music will never die.

  • great musicianship, right-on lyrics of hope and truth, great production value, guitars, with fantastic ensemble vocalists, cool 80's garb, hair, and blue jeans as well. (Not that's there's anything wrong with that!)

  • Good evening friends! Thanks for the invitation ... I loved your channel ... Welcome to my page .... so now and visit and see my videos ... laughs .... kisses and blood ... Val you have great talent I loved the video very good congratulations

  • 二人のトレバーの勝利、単にハード・エッジ・バンドになったYESだったが、カッコイイのは間違いなし!ビッグ・ジェネレイターより"LoveWillFindAWay"

  • The best Band in all time the WORLD !!!!!

  • The Best !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Chris Squire looks like kiefer Sutherland in Lost Boys!

  • wats the guitar that jon andorson has

  • whos the sapced out bonde haired guy.lol?

  • @keysgt - John Anderson

  • the most sold out image of Yes ever

and the gayest, silliest image of Anderson ever

  • multilayered, complex, and rich sounding....bands nowadays just don't have this!

  • @traywilson

No they don't! There's no complexity in music anymore, just piss-poor computer generated blather. The kids today wouldn't know good music if it bit them on the ass. Lady Gagme??? Oh, don't make me puke! Sorry to bring her name up on a Yes thread, but I just needed to make the comparison..that's all.

  • @n8tureboy C'mon man! Seriously? You actually think that your generation was the last to have good music?

Do you realize your parents thought the same way? And their parents, and so on...?

Maybe you don't know about what is new and good now days because you got stuck with the music of 20, 40 years ago.

Yes, this is good. No doubt. But talent is in the DNA of our generation as well. Don't think for a second that is that easy to dismiss us. Check my favs. You'll see what I'm talking about.

  • @vivelavidarocka

Calm dude! I realize that every generation has some good music and I'm not dissing your generations music. A lot of what I'm saying is strictly tongue-in-cheek. I'm being just a tad bit facetious too. Please don't take me so seriously. Let's have some civil discourse here, after all, it's only music. It's supposed to help bring people together, not tear them apart. A lot of my commentary is meant as sarcasm and irony.

    N8

  • @n8tureboy Fair enough, man. I'm just also a bit tired of seeing comments, especially from older Prog fans generalizing a whole generation. Like if their times were exempt of garbage music and people who followed it.

I mean, wasn't Disco as popular as Rock back in the 70's?

Do we think that all of you were high on coke dancing under a big mirror ball? No.

I accept your apology. Be careful though. Unless you are a seasoned writer, there is no way to detect if you're being sarcastic or not. Peace

  • @vivelavidarocka

Absolutely! I can tell you that my generations era was chock full of rather pitiful music, to be sure.

But, when you get to my age you really start reminiscing about the past and YES; you do start having these mid-life crisis moments and flash backs to the past. Plus, you really start losing your hair and that's hard on a guys psyche.

PS. I used to have a mirror ball in my room. No joke!

    N8

  • @n8tureboy oh fuck! Now you really made me feel bad for what I said to you. Can't be that bad if you lived a cool life...!

Anyways, you could always get another mirror ball AND a pole (for girls to dance) when you feel down. At least your generation had the chance to make and save some money....

  • @vivelavidarocka

Hey bro! Don't feel bad, no offense was taken. I'm very even tempered and I take critique rather well actually.

A pole? Now there's an idea! My 44 year old heart can't take much of that stuff though. You know, I do feel for the younger generations today, it's getting harder for people like you to get anywhere, to get ahead. Hell, it is for me! I barely have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of??

I'd sure like to know what happened to my mirror ball, Hmmmmmmm?

  • @n8tureboy Cont (Here comes my low blow since U had the chance to write more than 1):

YOU, Mr. music connoisseur, have between your fav acts the likes of DURAN DURAN and DANGER DANGER..Seriously? Look who's talking about SHITTY SHITTY music.!!

No sir. I think U R going thru your middle age crisis that is making you want to convince yourself that only the stuff you like is still hip and good. Sorry. Not the case

Sorry if I was a bit harsh w/ you, but I think you got a bit out of line yourself.

  • I Miss Yes Sound!!!

  • me fascina esta canción , es lo mejor de esta agrupación, cuando estoy triste o melancolico la coloco, me levanta el animo y tiene tanto significado, aparte q la destreza del manejo de los instrumentos son de gran clase.......gracias por existir YES

  • Where in the world is "Chez-Nous"???? Sounds like a great place to eat.

  • What a horrible video for such a great song.

  • Yes ............... Forever (Memories)

  • Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, finally, Muuuuuuusic!!!!!

  • I discovered Yes with this song back when I was a kid. Fell in love with it, only to discover an amazing catalog...and then the "Pop Yes" vs the "Prog Yes" fans. ;) I've always loved BOTH...(group AND fans..;)

  • @facelessfatloss Lucky you. You got to experience awesome music from all the " angles". So did I. YES!!!!!!!

  • Trevor Rabin was also involved in the music for my favorite TV show...24

  • Trevor Rabin was also involved in the music for my favorite TV show...24

  • My favorite "fake" performance video! Cool acoustic campfire setting and the parts where they are electric are cool, Chris Squire one-handing the bass while he plays harmonica with the other hand, lol !

  • Trevor Rabin did the music for the movie "Con Air"

  • 0:53-0:55. Yeah

  • Whats so important about che nouz

  • Love will find a way....

Memories of a time that will not come back.

This song is so beautiful ....

  • Love this song!!

  • Yes to the song and group.....No to the video

  • @ 1:55 my favorite part of this whole song besides the slider at 2:19. what a great song!

  • At 2:00 love when Trevor enhances the sustain on the chord. (Yes, I know the band is only miming their instruments for the video.)..but he does this for real, in live performance to, and on alot of the videos such as "Owner".

  • Great video? Great song, yes. Video? Cheesy as hell. Gotta love the clothes, hair and keytar.

  • Yes !!!

  • esto si es musica. no tiene fecha de expiración

  • Its funny but this song was written for Stevie Nicks back in 79 or 80. It does sound like she could sing it but I prefer the Yes version.

  • They are back. What about the skinny jeans? They are tight.... It's not the Jeans. Is the ass genes that went MIA

  • @vivelavidarocka @vivelavidarocka

Look folks. Trevor's band played here in D.C. in 88 or 89. Long time ago. But, the sound was brilliant. All his back-up players were world class singers and had incredible ability. It was a small club , and Trevor has a Semi Tractor trailer outside with god's know's how much power consuming gear in it. The PA went down many times but, he used about 10,000 watts of juice.. It was one of the most incredible shows i have ever seen. . he can really sing .
