ppl who dont like festivals live Holi Dewali and Christmas are ppl who are sick in the head and sexually weak, they vent their anger at normal ppl being happy and celebrating by showing disbelief and anger at festival that is commonly loved by everyone. LONG LIVE HOLI , DEWALI , X MAS AND ALL THE HAPPY FESTIVALS OF THE WORLD OF ALL RELIGION THAT BRING PEACE AND JOY TO EVEN THE POOREST OF THE POOREST,
@texjernigan u must have met those 'indians' who either are of some other religion or try to copy western world and are ashamed to follow the traditions! not playing Holi is something different and not liking a festival is a different thing! there's nothing to 'dislike' in this vid. d'uh
@dkmystery nah, according to people I know it can be malicious, and it's the one day where the lower caste can throw it in the faces of everybody above them. So a lot of people stay in. According to friends and family in Delhi. But I like the video :)
@EpicPoseidonBeard yeah, that's exactly what I'm saying. It breaks all barriers. Thailand's got a similar thing where they throw water at anybody on the street for three whole days.
@texjernigan I am pretty sure no one said that to you... holi is celebrated with everyone... a lot of people do stay in because of fears of colour... what that family might have said to you was that a lot of people of lower class (economically lower, nothing to do with caste) use cheaper colours which can be sometimes dangerous to health so they stay away from them...
@texjernigan lower caste upper caste? I wonder what 'people' have told you all of this!! lol
you really need to experience or take our word for it, Holi is nothing like 'not liked', or something where lower caste can throw it in the faces... bla bla bla
I can understand not liking the chemicals put in the colors these days, but who would dislike a festival??
@desichick u are the one ideot here m8 how the hell did Raavan took Sita with him if he never touched her. She is just pure but she has been touched by Raavan
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
it is a festival celebrating bleeding of Sita in lanks .......a heinous crime done by Ravan of Lanka .....Shame on Ravan who raped and bled a woman like Sita ........now indian`s have to mask her blood by sprinkling colours all over .....
@ContendersUTube Well actually as far as I know there is no such festival for the "bleeding of Sita". The only festivals tied to the Ramayana is Diwali and Dasherra. Holi is actually about the defeat of Holika. You being from India as your Channel suggests should definitely know the story of Dhruv and Holika.
@Punamrai5293 I think instead of Dhruv it was Prahalad the son of Hirankashyapu. Holika was sister of Hirankashyapu and Antie of Prahalad. I don't know if you are using the name of Dhruv in some context?
@ContendersUTube This festival has nothing to do with Lord Ram and Sita.(The words you used against Devi Stia shows your perverted mind). Holika was the sister of Hirankashyapu. In attempt to kill Prahalad who against his father wish worshiping Lord Vishnu, Hollika burnt in fire. And so is this festival Holi. This is also last day of the year the next day is the new year celebrated with colors the symbol of happiness and joy. It is nothing to do with blood and red may not be the necessary color.
I was just in nepal in a village called ilam where holi was being celebrated. The colored powders where made with marjuana so basicly the whole village was high for the day haha awesome!
@dizzlesKILLz Woah i didn't know in Nepal they made colours outta Marijuana...I know in Uttar Pradesh (northern India where my grandparents come from) they have colour and they make this drink called Bhang which is basically milk and some spices and marijuana and everyone drinks and it's a non-stop party for days! Was there a year ago and it was fantastic...the hang-over was a killer though...and the constant cravings! But they had snack stalls EVERYWHERE so that's ok tho :)
/watch?v=u0Wi9EBWRiI&feature=PlayList&p=266585B691CDC6E2&index=87..Listen to me all people...I need your complete ATTENTION...I have just sent all you people a video link...whenever I happen to talk to an indian person, he/she has got only only topic to talk about "TALIBAN"...Indians say TALIBAN is destabalizing, weakening and scattering Pakistan into pieces (according to indians' far best perception)...now I want to ask all you people what I should think about India after watching this video?
happy holi!!!! Just made myself human again. played for four hrs under the influence of bhang 3 & 1/2 hrs. god i was feelin like i was swimmin in rainbow!!!!!Can't wait for nxt yr!!!!wooooooooooohooooooo
It's also referred to as "the festival of colors". Every March after the first full moon, Holi is celebrated for about a week. It's a way to celebrate the coming of Spring.
this dates back to ages ago when prahlad gave holika his shawl as holika was a widow and that time in india we practised the sati where the widow is made to die when she becomes a widow. Holika had prahlad's shawl which saved her when she was made to sit on the burning pyre. This is why we celebrate holi and aptly names after holika-holi
it's called PAINT, come to Miami, Florida it's a festival
in the WEST!

@supernovalass There's plenty of people that don't like Christmas, I can think of a lot of reasons people wouldn't like a festival.

@texjernigan ur reason of why some people don't like Holi is absolutely wrong! get ur facts straight buddy and don't post any wrong info till then!
