Really can't wait for my Dyson DC31 Animal Handheld to come, all these reviews and videos are making me anxious. I want to detail all my cars, my mom's, dad's and even brothers.
Hey Jack your steering wheel is on the wrong side.Haha! I have a question..Is the design of the brushroll house tray the same on the new DC33 as on the DC27? And I was always wondering what the design idea was that Dyson had when designing the Helix brushroll?Better airflow in the house tray or something?Weird question I know:-) I looked at the DC33 today. Its really light.Fantastic suction power.I'm thinking of getting it.Just need a few more coins.Lol! Thanks Jack.
@panaclean775 I believe the DC33 uses the same brushroll housing as the DC14 All Floors/Allergy/Animal models, but without the leading large debris intake channel. The helix brushroll is designed to be very lightweight, to allow it to be rotated by the clutch system at a high rpm.
@vintagehoover So I guess that means it should pick up the same .I wonder if missing the leading large debris channel will effect anything?I was hoping it had maybe an improved design like the DC27 has.
@panaclean775 It should mean the head will seal better to the floor, and draw more airflow through the carpet, improving pick-up - in fact, DC33 scored better for carpet cleaning than DC27 in Which? Magazine's testing.
@vintagehoover Oh Really? Wow thats good.I cant apply for membership on that website because it only excepts pound.Haha.I only have dollars.I hope consumer report does a test soon on it.I think I may go and purchase this model. Its light and very attractive and has very good airflow. It doesnt come with alot of tools but I can get those.I wish Dyson made a nice hose extention for it.Not a flexable stretch hose but a fully extended canister type hose.Thats the only thing missing. Thanks Jack:)
obviously a dyson is very good for cleaning a car, remind me to bring my car to you to be cleaned lol, im pretty sure there wont be any dust, fluff or grit anywhere
I've been a Dyson hater for so long but i must admit, i'm really starting to like their newest machines, they've come a long way since the DC07. Wish they'd make them quieter though

I use either the Rigid shop vac or the FQ & Windtunnel turbo brush; I wish the DC02 wuz here in the USA, it was the best Dyson ever.

I always use my Kirby when cleaning the car. It's never gotten clogged or over heated. Great video anyway! I see I'm one of the first people!

Jack I love that turbine head. Me and Tom compared it to the Miele and you cannot make the Dyson turbine head slow down unlike mieles.
