Us too...we drove from Portland, OR. We stayed 5 nights at Desert Oasis Resort. It's worth the drive...we got 6 people together and took 2 trucks and just split everything 6 ways. We ended up paying about $400 each including gas, food, camping fees, gas for quads, etc...not bad for a 6 day, 5 night vacation!
Thats a rumor and not true. The local news station announced the wrong date. SandFest web site has the date July 8-13. Its never changed. But, DuneFest is cool too. I was there last year.

No...we are going to Dunefest, but not Sandfest. I heard they moved it at the last minute and everyone got screwed out of their campsite money.
