I always upgrade my tanks with metal tracks when i buy them i find the tracks supplied are pretty weak i always seem to lose them when operating on grass
Cool, rc is also very cool! I just finished my design of a full scale 1:1 Hetzer. Build will start in mid april and it will be ready for a show in belgium 4 months later if all goes as planned
@Toyman07 sure did but it took way more time then i thought plus i have less time then i thought xD. Its made of a frame and drivingplates welded on to that so its a little heavy but thats nice. finding the right tracks was a little problem but they were shiped from the eastblock. got a 2,3L turbo diesel instaled :)
geday are heng long rc 1:16 tiger 1s and panthers are any good and i think grompix1 told me that heng long tanks can be as good as tamiyas pleas reaspond
The cheaper HenLong toy tanks are a good start in the hobby and you can upgrade them to almost Tamiya standard (at a cost). The Henlong 'Panther' does not look much like a real Panther; more like a 'PanTiger'! The other Henlong tanks look good though.
i already have the leopard (needs painting) and the king tiger, but i am stuck on which one next. panther or the tiger?? if you want a real challenge, try building the leopard.
of all the tanks of ww 2 the panther is the best looking it looks like a main battle tank.

@grompix1 The new Heng Long Panther G looks every bit as good as a Tamiya but it's not in the same league mechanically or electronically.

once you get those metal tracks on there, it will run a lot more realisticly. great job on the build. nice work!!

Thanks 3819oli. Yep, can't wait to see how it runs with the metal tracks.

it will run better with metal tracks. what would you have, the tiger or the panther???
3819oli 4 years ago
My first RC tank was the Tiger and it was (is) a brilliant model so I would still recommend that one.

Another impressive film of the impressive tank, after watching your 1/16 Tiger just a few hours ago.
I could see that you have opened the driver's hatch and input the driver. Nice work!

Very impressive, I like the driver and the commander figurines and the scale speed, it looks very heavy as well.
