That's the way they ended up going when the fan base became overwhelming, which to say that there is nothing wrong with that. It is the writer's perogative but there are a lot of us out there who still firmly believe that was meant to be with Hercules. Like me!! :-D

yeah friend in need was suppose end with Hercules devasted over the xena choosing to die but i think if he was there he be the voice of reason and would have found away to free the 40,000 souls and keep xena alive hercules and xena forever

I never saw parts of the Herkules episodes with Xena. Oh my god....I had no idea what the poor Lucy Lawless had to do to get an own show...lol
