  • holy shit, jeff jarret is acting like a huge pussy

  • I feel bad for Jeff because he lost Owen, and he lost his wife Jill a few years ago while he was in TNA, losing two special people, takes a strong man to keep going in that business

  • Owen Hart's death is right up there with Droz being paralyzed in the category of things that are totally unfair.

  • God bless Jeff Jarrett, really beautiful.

  • i remember hearing of this, i was actually on vacation, visiting, niagara falls, i had passed bya souvineer stand, which was showing the event, next morning, i turned on the radio, it was all over the radio, i was truly upset, i was a huge fan of owen

  • thats why i kicked your leg outta your leg ;)

  • Ron Simmons is like Damn.

    RIP OWEN

  • @ TheBlock you are right...

  • @llxXSVRKyraXxll yeah dustin runnels is his real name dusty rhodes is his stage name like cody rhode's real last name is runnels not rhodes

  • I'm never going to be the same again... My HERO is Gone!! :'(

  • Dammit, Jeff...

  • Classic.... Owen was loved by the WWE.

  • @1234bboys No. he was loved by the WWF.

  • the double J segment is hard to watch

  • I sat front row at an "in ur house" PPV. I had a sign that said "owen, you give me a heart on" He saw it, looked at me and laughed! epic.

  • It makes me sad that he died on my birthday in 1999, I remember watching this and it didn't hit me hard till watching RAW when they did the tribute show. I remember breaking down hard just like I broke down when Eddie died too.

Owen was a big inspiration on me, such till 2007 I ended up becoming a worker in this industry. Owen, you were a big inspiration to many, even me :) We miss you and every birthday I take a bump in your honor.

  • @Juggalo972 this might be inapropriate but what work do u do for the industry

  • @EdEddnEddyTheBest Professional wrestler brother, just like the men and women you see on this video.

  • @Juggalo972 who is your brother

  • @EdEddnEddyTheBest

I said brother out of respect, I'm not related to anyone in the WWE.

  • Comment removed

  • That was a good prank u did to test RIP both test and owen

  • 16 people are blue blazer fans

  • 16 people are heartless cowards

  • i would laugh if faarooq said damn while he was doing his speech. but seriously owen R.I.P

  • i guess 17 ppl arent down with Owen Hart

  • Jarret, hope you kept your promise and stayed in contact with Owens family.

  • I love seeing dustin break kayfaybe and take the makeup off it reminds me of the real dustin runnells

  • Triple H wasn't the only one emotional Jeff Jarrett was too we love you Owen

  • @geewdanger yeah, i remember jeff and owen working together for months

  • who ever dislikes this tribute to owen or any other wrestling tribute should burn in hell

  • Test never got a tribute :[

  • @cradiIy I've noticed that the only wrestlers who get tributes are the ones that die while they're still employed with the company. Probably why Test didn't get one.

  • @cradiIy neither did umaga or lance cade

  • @cradiIy well test died of a drug o.d. and wasnt withh wwe when he die

  • @scotslad15 SAME HERE I grew up watching the Attitude Era and hands down the BEST TIME IN WWF HISTORY... I wasn't a huge Owen Hart fan but like everyone else in the wrestling world I have a lot of respect for the wrestlers because of the sacrifices they made day after day. I only watch now jus to keep up with Taker and Triple H

  • Owen Hart is an incredibly sad story. He never wanted to a be a pro wrestler but did it to provide for his family and keep up the family name. Breaks ur heart.......

  • Hey Jeff, you can take the boy out of the trailer park but, that accent will be in you forever.

  • jeff came from tha hart with it!! what a great friend you are jeff! i will watch tna more jus because of you man

  • This makes you want to chant "Thank You Owen".

  • RIP Owen AND Test.

  • May 23rd is a very hard day for Jeff Jarrett.

  • when jarret cried i believed it when hhh cried i was like yea ok sure......

  • @wrestlingjoey ... i thought the same thing

  • @wrestlingjoey why do you say that....they were pretty close

  • @wrestlingjoey Yeah but that's the thing, Hunter seems like the type of guy that never wants people to see him being emotional and for him to be crying on camera and everybody seeing it just shows how hurt he was and probably still is.

  • Is that Goldust at the beginning? DAMN, he looks weird without his facepaint.

    R.I.P Owen.

  • Hard 2 believe test is gone as well. R.I.P to all the guys we grew up watching and are no longer with us. Thanks for the great entertainment thru the years.

  • man, my biggest memory of owen is watching him at a house show in a submissions match against ken sharmcok.

  • It's been a good ten years since I've regularly watched wrestling, and Jeff Jarrett's tribute is one of the few things I remember vividly from that time.

  • I remember back then I hated Owen the heel because he played such an excellent heel and I remember watching this RAW when it aired. He made the front page back in Philadelphia (which was famous for ECW and is full of die hard wrestling fans) and everyone was just saddened that the wrestling world lost one of its greatest performers, a family lost a loving brother, husband and father, and humanity lost an even better human being.

  • Jeff Jarrett was right behind the curtain when the e.m.t.s wheeled Owen out. He was one of Owen's closest friends.

  • @tiverson24

I also heard that Jarrett screamed Owen Hart's name when he won the Intercontinental Title that year.

  • Could Test have at least acted like he wasn't totally bored and took off his glasses to show some humanity?

  • @iceman1616 funny thing is that test was trained by the hart family

  • That Jeff Jarrett part is so sad. He is a super nice guy. I met him last weekend. Real down to earth, regular guy, and judging by his, and everyone else's tributes, Owen was too. My little brother and I LOVED the Harts and The Hart Foundation.

  • If you can't watch that Jeff Jarrett bit and not get emotional you have no soul. RIP Owen you are the King of Harts.

  • faarooq's voice is like michael jordan....

  • so sad to see..a royal rumble without jeff an owen screwing each other ova mid way..is jus not the same..always screwed each other over yet here tag partners...rip owen

  • farooq should have just said "Damn!" #toosoon

  • wonder if any one knew that Owen was scared of hights his dad always made shure they new that you never need the ropes use your skills not the ropes

  • I remember that night vividly. I was 17 yrs old at the time. Owen Hart was outstanding at his job and that bastard Vince killed him. They even said he didn't want to be lowered down on a harness. Now we all know why. He didn't deserve to die that young and go out the way he did.

  • omg jeff dont cry i'm gonna cry to :(

  • Excluding Chris Benoit due to the magnitude of what happened. Owen was the biggest kick in the gut death of any wrestler.

  • i'd pay to see Harley Race chase Owen with a stun gun

  • RIP Owen and Test

  • Surreal to see Jeff Jarrett crying like that....

  • I miss faarooq, wish he was still wrestling instead of just DAMN!

  • What was so sad was jeff sort of forgot where he was. He said most of the people in the buisness were fake or looked after themselves. So sad that somebody who was really a down to earth good person in a world of big egos and self serving attitudes died. R.I.P Owen..

  • I remember this so well.Owen's death was the very first death I experienced as a hardcore wrestling fan,and even though I didnt know personally,Owen was a fantastic wrestler and entertainer and when I heard the revealations about Owen as told by his peers,I learned he was a great family man,a good friend, and just a great and wonderful man

I remember attending pro wrestling at my high school and even they did a moment of silence for Owen Hart before THEIR show began.

    RIP Owen Hart.

  • Seeing Jeff and Road Dogg's cry was to this day heart breaking.. and i don't Jeff has talked about it since but, maybe i'm wronge i. but, you could believe this.

  • @ozland12345 He talks about it on his TNA DVD.

  • test died recently

  • @mrlal1234 test was a douchebag...look at him...he couldn't even take his glasses off.

  • Absolutely heart-wrenching to hear Jarrett's tribute.

  • I like Billy Gunn's tribute

If you're not down with Owen Hart, I GOT TWO WORDS FOR YA!!!!!!!!

  • besides our own families, what's more heartbreaking than seeing our larger than life "heroes" crying

  • @suzannetheturdtapper I'd be glad if you respected owen

    just sayin not startin anythin

  • @suzannetheturdtapper Are you high, or just incredibly fucked up in the head?

  • @suzannetheturdtapper its a shame good people like Owen die but scum like you live FUCK YOU BURN IN HELL!!!!

  • Jeff Jarrett kept it real about the business r.i.p owen 2 time slammy winner

  • There is no wrestler named "Dusty Runnels."

  • @seikogoldwatch2009 You know him as "Goldust".

  • @h3llgn0m3

Datz 'Dustin' Runnels. He said 'Dusty' Runnels.

Dusty Rhodes' real name is Virgil Runnels

  • @seikogoldwatch2009 he probably meant Dustin Runnels, he was called that in WWF for awhile

  • I had given away of all of my wrestling videos I had to a friend but there was one I kept and I still have to this day. The video of that PPV and the Raw dedicated to Owen. Watching this still brings a tear to my eye.

  • I still cry when I think of Owen. I used to have a tear-away desk calendar with a whole bunch of wrestling facts on it. When my Gramma heard on the radio that Owen had passed, I pulled the day off the calendar....and the day of May 24, 1999 had Owen's biography on it. I remember signing on to AOL (Keyword WWF. lol), and there was someone who wrote on a blog, "Owen deserved to die". I remember being 17 years old and PISSED that someone could be so cold.

    RIP Owen Hart (1965 - 1999)

  • @AskAdam28 WHy woukd anyone ever wish Owen Hart to die? He was the nicest person in the world. It's just so depressing to think of his death. He was one of the best, a true GOOD guy of the business.

  • @maravich12 Yeah, I know he was. It made me sick to read some of those comments. I am glad he is in a better place.

  • I remember watching these tributes after it happened and I bawled my eyes out =( Still get all teary now.....

  • @llxXSVRKyraXxll Dusty Runnels is Goldust

  • golddust!!!

  • What was bad is that Jeff Jarrett's first wife died, exactly eight years to the day Owen died.

  • @DefLeppardVanHalen yeah man that is fucked up... first u lose the guy who was like a brother to you and then 8 yrs later..ON THE SAME DAY MIND YOU...your wife dies...u know he has said if it wasn't for his 3 daughters he wouldn't have been able to function after his wife died

  • Mark Henry and Jarrett took it the to the "Hart" the most. RIP king of hearts

  • @MrCrackershaq911

    fuck that sucks

  • @llxXSVRKyraXxll he's goldust

  • this is so sad...Owen will always be missed, He is and always will be so loved!!!

  • Billy meant well, but associating Owen with the whole "Suck it" thing after his death is just more awkward then a tribute. I know Bret didn't like it.

  • r i p 2 owen hart and fucc the 17 haters

  • Thumbs up if you wish you had the chance to meet owen hart R.I.P cant believe its been 11 years since ive watched such a great entertainer put on a show.

  • @Mystary1 damn straight bro. I miss Owen a lot.

  • @Mystary1 I did, when they did a show in Prince Albert way back in 1995. Him and Bret were picking up beer after the show and we were riding our bikes through the parking lot. We were so young that we didnt realize Bret and Owen actually hung out with each other because they hated each other so much in the ring. So we only wanted to meet Bret, and we were making jokes at Owen because he was a "bad guy" and he just took them and said he hates Bret but Bret lost a bet and had to buy him beer lol

  • @pounanni3100: That's fucking awesome.

  • @Mystary1

I wish I could have met Owen. I was able to meet Bret Hart at least.

R.I.P. Owen (1965-1999) a great wrestler, and a great man.

  • IF UR NOT DOWN WITH OWEN HART... I GOT TWO WORDS FOR YA... SUCK IT!!!

  • While everyone speaks highly of Owen, I couldn't help but notice the varying opinions on the business in general. You have some guys talking about how while they are on the road they are 1 big family. Then you have other guys making reference to how Owen was 1 of the few good guys.

    RIP Owen!

  • @scotslad15

Oh alright thanks, that is familiar now with the show being dedicated to him, I vaguely remember it though. The late 90's and 2000's are a blur for me lol. Been watching wrestling since I was 4 though back in 1990, crazy it has been all these years, early to mid 90's were classic for wrestling. You gotta give it up to the Attitude era as well and the 80's.

  • Loved Tests part...

  • Owen was probably Jeff's best friend.

  • @danlfc1983 Yeah.. man .. they formed a tag team and got the tag titles, lost it to Shamrock and Boss man.. 8 days later:Owen died.

RAW IS owen: Jarrett defeated godfather for the title. He was screaming his name out.. ''OWEN!'' when he got the intercontinental title

  • dude asking the Rhoades questions........fuk off

  • @llxXSVRKyraXxll

    Yeah. aka Goldust.

  • @michi lmfao hahahaha agreed TNA is going down hill

  • didn't Jeff's wife die on the same day like 10 years later?

  • It was very hard for Jeff Jarrett. He and Owen were at 1 point Tag Team Champs.

  • Jeff Jarrett breaks my heart as well, it reminds me about watching Chris Benoit cry over Eddie Guerrero, Poor Jeff couldn't even look at the camera.

  • OWEN WILL GO IN TO THE HALL OF FAME WHEN WWE WRESTLEMANIA COMES BACK TO TORONTO

  • Jeff Jarrett & Owen Hart = Friends or Buddies!

  • i hated him as a kid but now it sucks he was great bad things happen

  • jeff took it harder then anyone

  • stu hart and bret hart have already been inducted into the hall of fame!!!!! although THE NAME(OWEN HART) is not inducted, the fact that STU HART(FATHER), AND BRET HART(BROTHER) have been inducted is GOOD ENOUGH FOR NOW!!!!!! CAN THINGS CHANGE IN THE FUTURE, MAYBE/MAYBE NOT!!!! pehaps if a, HART FAMILY/DYNASTY, were inducted into the hall of fame, just like the von erich family was inducted, then that would be inclusive of OWEN HART!!!!

  • it hurts the kids and their future because THEY WANT THEIR FATHER!!!! for that reason, martha hart DOES NOT want the name, images, likeness, merchandise,etc.. of her husband(OWEN HART) to be apart of the WWE!!!

OWEN HART HAS ALREADY BEEN INDUCTED INTO THE HALL OF FAME:

    1. STU HART

    2. BRET HART

    CONTINUED.........

  • I WANT YALL TO LISTEN:

OWEN HART HAS ALREADY BEEN INDUCTED INTO THE HALL OF FAME!!!!!

realistically, THE NAME is not inducted in order to respect the wishes of his wife(martha hart), martha's intentions is to SHUN their children from the tragedies that have transpired more than 11 years ago!!!! not only does it hurt the wife, but moreover, IT HURTS THE KIDS!!!!! CONTINUED.........

  • R.I.P Owen and Test

  • @ghvtvku123 HOW DARE YOU! THEY WERE TRAGIC LOSSES! AND YOU ARE HAPPY THEY ARE DEAD?! HOW SICK ARE YOU!?

  • Are these tributes on any DVD or VHS or were they just recorded and never officially released?

  • i miss oje (owen) even after 11 years . still almost get gag gifts for him at christmas. miss ya my oje. your kids are great .

  • My heart REALLY goes out to Double J here...him and Owen were REALLY close friends and when you lose someone thats like a brother to you.....the pain is unbearable! We love you for doing this Jeff and we love you too Owen...R.I.P. bud

  • The Jeff Jarrett clip is a heartbrteaker...RIP Owen Hart

  • @StrappingYoungLawd

And just think, on that same day in 2007 he lost his wife Jill

  • Damn Faarooq took it hard.

  • I was hoping to get a "damn" out of Farooq. lol

Owen was such a great dude

  • I feel so honored that I got to meet Owen back in 1995, he was the sweetest guy. Really nice to all the fans.... it's been over 10 years, and it still makes me sad. I know he had a fantastic future. Who knows if things happen for a reason or not, but Owen had a big impact on things. He was all heart (hart)...

  • rip great wresler and a great guy

  • @kustomchainwerks Calm Down Bro And Stop Telling People To Fuck Off And Die Its Really Annyoing! Cause I Beat Ya That All The People That You Said It To Want U To DIE ! So On Behalf Of All The Other Guys SHUT UP!

  • @2107Owen Fuck off and die asshole! no one asked for your pathetic opinion. PUNCH YOURSELF IN THE FUCKING FACE LOSER!!!

  • from what i read it is vince fault owen is dead

  • @hardcoreocealot You read wrong.

  • @bigrigbob2010 nope the book said that mcmahon switched stuny instructors at the last second because the one that they had said the safety harness was not adequate so they got a new one owen fell to his death

  • @hardcoreocealot OK the facts are wrong, not your reading, People have claimed lots of things that were not true.( the holocaust numbers for example) They used the same guy that did the rigs for sting in WCW. when he did the same stunt.

  • @hardcoreocealot thats the guy they replaced face it mcmahon is responsible for the death of owen hart and thats that

  • @hardcoreocealot Russo, not mcmahon.

  • Jeff Jarrett and Debra and Owen Hart were 1 of the Greatest Tag Teams.

  • just droppin by

  • jarrett said all the right things in his speech u can tell they were truely close...i heard that they were going to form the new era hart foundation.

  • R.I.P qwen hart

  • I really wished that Dustin Runnels would fight without his sick, bizarre gimmick....

  • Watching Jeff Jarrett cry like that breaks my heart

  • @JMJones09

He's crying even harder now that he's lost control of TNA

  • @michiyoyoshiku you're a mark

  • @solyhhit

your moms a mark mark fuck you E-nwo

  • @michiyoyoshiku I guesstrailer parks have Internet now too hey... man you're a mark... no go get the Funky bunch

  • @solyhhit

The fuck are you talking about?

  • @JMJones09 Dude it still chokes me up to this day....Heels Faces, whatever, EVERYONE still has a heart, and JJ here has a big piece of HART in him....

  • @JMJones09 Yes Jeff is from a wrestling family same as Owen . Running in the same circles you grow to be friends as well they were good friends in real life

  • @JMJones09 i know that get's me it's so hard to watch that

  • ironic hearing test talk about someone thats gone and he ended up passing away:S

  • @metalmoniker test died too??!

  • @rawrcalumx yup

  • he died last year, not sure how, i dont know the exact facts so im not gonna speculate out of respect, but all i can say is rip owen and rest in peace test

  • @davidgiggs1,

He overdosed on oxycodone (per his Wikipedia autobiography).

  • @davidgiggs1 Test died of an oxycodone overdose he was also released for steroid abuse so go figure

  • @metalmoniker you know whats even more ironic their both Canadians :S

  • I heard Vince was mad at Jarrett's tribute segment when Jarrett said the WWE business was "cold, selfish, callous, unrealistic, fantasy world".

  • yeah he got fired after it

  • he wasnt fired bc of what he said in fact jarrett got the IC title that owen was to get as the blazer. Vinnie forgot to renew the contract for jarrett and it cost him 1 million dollars for him match with Chyna

  • it cost vinny mac 330,000 for double js match with chyna

  • Fired?? Jeff Jarrett at the time was perma-WWF intercontinetal champ during this time. He left because he got PAID alot more and esp guarenteed money to go to WCW where not long after he was the WCW Heavyweight Champion of the World! Everyone backstage knew Owen was blackballed into staying with the WWF because of his long-term contract and likewise everyone knew he was blackballed for refusing the writers request to do low-brow segments thereby being forced into the Blazer gimmick he hated

  • Jeff Jarrett did not get fired for saying this you idiot.

  • i wonder if jarrett still keeps to his word now.

  • Despite the tears, I couldn't help but chuckle at the stories about Owen Hart being a master prankster on or off the road (the chili and BBQ was the one of the funniest I've heard so far). There were even times in house shows and tours that he would deliberately go all comedy and make his opponents (and even his tag team partner) nearly fall off the ring laughing (read it on Bret's website). Remembering these happy moments do help lessen the pain of his loss.

  • @darknessfatale Read mick foleys first book and he also says a bunch of pranks owen did to him and other people and how he would over act to certain moves to get a rise out of the superstars.

  • To anyone who says the show must go on, no it doesn't need to, somebody died, if it had been anything else the show would have stopped and any fan that couldn't understand that is a prick.

    RIP Owen Hart

  • well said,i couldn`t agree more!
