I once encountered a glitch where (and I have no idea how I did it) you can re-start the game, but with your same inventory, same stats, and same companion.

Advantages?

You have the chance to get all the achievements, as well as be amused by getting to murder zed with 10hp with a sharpened katana.

It helps. If anyone can figure out how to do this glitch, please tell me.

As a side note, i did it with an iMac, so maybe it doesn't work for pcs.

on the ending i was carying barrett (you must complete 75% archiewments to get it) and rpg.

My companion was carying M249

@TheKrozza I just finished the game and i found my companion named Hank but he died somewhere in the last level where you are running away from them. I FAILED. where can you get another companion besides that girl in the grocery???

If you search the military base and look around enough, you'll get the M249 SAW. Makes running away much easier at the beginning.
