I first saw this video when I had a desire to start cj-ing and now I am six months into it and its the most fun I have ever had doing ANYTHING. THANK YOU for inspiring me with this video...now my only question is what kind of fire contact ball do you use? I cant find one u can buy except for one for juggling in the air. The suggestions I hv heard to make is a wooden ball soaked in white fuel or a monkey fist wrapped in kevlar...what do u suggest?

Very impressive contact juggling. What type of ball are you using for the non fire juggling? It looks shiny and metal.

It's a round plastic shell that's hollow in the middle with a chromatic covering. Shocking light really. I got to play with one a couple months back and couldn't believe how much lighter it was that the typical acrylic ball. It's a very different feel because of this but apparently much better for non Iso moves.

for fire contact juggling.. i think the fire poi's "monkey fists" would work... i tried the other day without them on fire and they sorta worked.

as I understand it the best be is to get a wood ball that has a semi tight fiber to it for fuel absorption. A Monkeys fist seems round but when it comes to rolling it over your body you quickly find that that may not be as true as you had hoped.

pour some lighter fluid on your acrylic sphere but not too much he used too much at the beggining. if u do it right, the flame will stay on the top of te sphere and u wont get burned. happy CJing(:

This is simple/ Heat rises. As long as the balls not touching one spot too long, the rising heat wont burn him. You think fire burns automatically but it doesn't. It takes more than a split second. Keep it moving, keep it ontop and not below. Also, he seems to do this for long periods of time. Sweat helps cool of da fire yo.

I am fairly new to the art of contact juggling, but to date, this is the best performance I have seen. Very awe inspiring. Why isn't contact juggling more mainstream? Like any art form, a true artist makes it look effortless, but I can't imagine the countless hours of practice it took. BRAVO!

nice ! A friend of mine uses denatured alcahol mixed with boric acid (powdered roach killer) it burns green and the fire is not as hot as white gas. You can also get fire proof gloves.
