There is nothing wrong with pro-American, but Mr. Lee does not have to put other people down to show that. He can do whatever he wants with Singapore, whether it is setting up a Lee dynasty, or completely westernizing it which he probably already has. However, it is very inappropriate to use almost racism-like language to describe other people.
Some of Mr. Lee's comments in the interview are pretty derogatory. He said the Chinese youth are like sausages because of their lack of individualism, and that the West is more creative and innovative than China.
