I'd say i prefer this oblivion. Combat is 100 times better and oblivion is so robotic, you get 'the empty feeling' when you realised you've been talking to AI scripts for an hour.

This just didnt get the media coverage that most games got, plus it was a little short.

@MrBodubs Now I'm not saying that Morrowind isn't any good, quite opposite in fact as it's one of my favorite games. It just lacks in a few area's but makes up for it in others, like the spell customization, alchemy, story, plus the thousands of plug-ins to customize a world you'd like to play in.

If they took a bit of ES3, DM, Rune:HOV, An made some tweaks here and there. They'd have a game that would make people go blind from sheer awesomeness. But that's just my opinion.

Not really, you can only throw daggers if you're adrenaline bar is full.

Also, hitting your armored enemies like a mad man won't be very effective, you have to use power blows, so in combat, the sword is better. Stealth is just really cool:)

this is one of the best games I have that almost nobody knows about. Its got a few bugs but it is amazing. Great melee combat and exploration, different ways to tackle objectives and different classes to play. Great graphics built on the source engine. For $10 this game is a steal

@cod4andhalo3iscool hmm you could be affected by the memory leak, this is a problem they never fixed so the only solution is to save your game, restart and load back up and it SHOULD run smooth (until the memory leaks again, some levels are worse than others, i know one of the maps near the beginning is really bad for this).

Click *block* the moment your power stike hits and your sword arm is reset. Improves attack rating greatly. ^^

For instance, the combat system of DM is vastly superior to ES3's in the fact you can choose your attack based on the movement key instead of choosing use best or random. The spells of DM also effect environment instead of just creatures, like casting fire on oil or ice on the floor. Also on ES3 you can't score head-shots. An last be definitely not least, the all inspiring "THIS-IS-SPARTA!" Kick.

Thtas because you dindt explore well all the place or made all the necessary quests to enjoy the game... at the beggin I finded the game a bit hard, after 3 weeks, I was dominating with magic, bone and sword... had many quests made and the main quests was almoust finished.

I cant say this game looks bad or is worst that oblivian, I havent played yet and Im trying to download this... but ye despite of this game I recomend you Oblivian

VERY boring. I will NEVER understand how Oblivion got called best RPG ever. Gamespot doesn't count because they know shit. I mean it's like a chore to play. And don't listen to people who say you need to play it for a long time to enjoy it. That's not how games work. You either love it after a few hours or you get bored of it. Oblivion is the latter. A few quests more or less make no difference. The game itself matters. Oblivion apologists tend to ignore that.

In Oblivion the backstab is only multiplied damage. Plus classes are pointless. An Orc barbarian can become Archmage , Master Thief , master mage and picklocker with 5 in Security. What's the point of being called a Barbarian then? Plus the Fireball you start with and the best fire spell in the game look EXACTLY the same

Not only it feels bigger because you have to use various means to get to a place like travel services and teleportation but you can also do ANYTHING. You want to kill everyone in the game, you can, no essentials. You want to steal and own any house, get in kill the owner and it's yours.

Dark Messiah is an action game, Oblivion a role playing game. DM has no free world, just chapters/levels and linear gameplay. But it's a good action game, it makes a lot of fun and the story is amazing.

Dark Messiah is a a straightforward action fantasy FPS but an excellent one at that and it's pretty bargain cheap now.

Oblivion is an RPG, but really, without mods its a broken and bugged pile of crap. If you want an RPG, I'd really recommend looking at some other GOOD ones.

You can throw knifes if you upgrade the Assassin's skills. When you reach the 3rd level, you will be able to throw but only for enemies who are fleeing for you.

I really enjoyed this game, but i'm still kinda dissapointed. It felt more like a demo then a real game. And it was way to linear. Make it a free roaming RPG with merchants and shit, and it will be a great game!

assassin was the funniest way to do it, specially if you got the stealth skill in 3 so you get invisible in the dark, remember when i first got it in my first playthrough i was near the end of the game so i didnt have too much fun with it :(

Well, you have to do the storyline mostly, but you can also have some fun... The gameplay is very awesome but I like oblivion better because of the freedom... But this game is awesome too.
