I went on Holiday to Scotland in 2009; it was so pretty and lovely. Definitely want to go back sometime.

I've always admired the people and the place, having alot of old Cornish in me, alot of my family are Cornish, the Cornish have always seemed to take very well to their Celtic cousins up north. There are quite a fair few songs that are similar to this, Thomas Newman (Phenomenon + American beauty) does quite a few good songs as does James Horner (Titanic + Braveheart). 'Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence' is an amazing song. Enya does quite a few too like 'Far and Away' and 'Now we are Free' just being a couple. Hope this helps people find this sort of category music. The new developments in Inverness are shite, but it has a lot more architectural unity than Glasgow, which has its flat-out amazing buildings destroyed by 1960s nightmares. What Inverness lacks in architecture, it makes up for in natural beauty.

That's very unfair, I think. Glasgow has some amazing architecture probably the best of its kind in the whole of Scotland and UK - especially Victorian in the city centre and Merchant City and surrounds. The modern developments along the Clyde as well are stunning. Not all of Glasgow is Easterhouse or the Gorbals (some pretty nice redevelopment in the Gorbals too, though).

Similarly Edinburgh is not all the New Town and Stockbridge. There's Wester Hailes, Pilton and Sighthill too!!!
