This Ancap crash test gave a positive result of 4 stars. It probably needs side airbags to make it a 5 stars. Still, not bad at all, especially in terms of improvements over previous tests.

@Alycevan I think it is good enough for me. I thank great wall who offer such an alternative. How many times is the price of a Mercedes SUV? No one limit you to spend assuming you have deep pocket. I've lots of good uses for the money saved.

Chinese car makers have really made great improvements in safety & built quality in the last few years. I won't be surprised if their cars being on par with BMW or Mercedes in 10 years time.

@redcloudbuster don't think so. this is the first chinese car to not be a catastrophic failure. the dummy's head still got deflected into the door and there was cabin deformation

@rrs99 In the video, the front window too looks intact. I saw another video of an actual highway accident in which the front window has cracks but still sticks together in one piece at its original position. I think good enough.

@wc200709 this one had the windshield broken, because something went through it.And it is normal for a windshield not to break cause it is made of laminated glass. send me your e-mail so i can give you a picture of what i am talking about, i'm not that good at explaining things

@JakiLLamb Avendo la struttura da "fuoristrada" col telaio separato, sicuramente ha avuto un semi distacco del telaio principale... roba di poco conto in un incidente del genere, con la macchina che è da buttare... comunque la zona dell'abitacolo ha retto dignitosamente, e gli occupanti si sono salvati
