Ha, I live in Hull and my house was fine, however at the time I was sailing aound the Greek Islands on my mates 45foot German yacht in 40 degree heat so I missed all the action. Many houses near me still have caravans outside, it's like a gypsy city in parts (more than normal). so the fact that the huge playing fields in front of my house, my school being wrecked for 6 - 9 months, my GCSE coursework plus others being wrecked, wading through water to get to school, hearing that my mate's mum was crying cos she knew the man who died, walking around the corner and finding people living in caravans because there homes are wrecked and the videos and pictures i took of the flood were just coincidence, so i imagined the lot?

yeah i was at school when that happened but unlike some people my age i write normally and i am pretty intelligent. People say that light rain couldn't course flooding however the videos are AFTER it had flooded ad the result of 24-36 hours possibly even 48 hours heavy rain and the drains that have to be said are poorly maintained flooded and there for my school was 4 ft under water due to hull being below sea level.

If you watched the news at the end of june, you would know what devastation happened. we were an inch of being flood victims ourselves the day AFTER the rain due to the drains (man made rivers) burting their banks. Sorrel drive behind my house near county road south contains homes STILL being repaired! People i know well have to live in static caravans until the repairs are finished. the video is genuine, i have my own!

Yea maybe we did flood... but why do people always judge Hull by the people... we have quite a nice little place to live to be honest!... weve got the deep , THREE shopping centres (St stephens , Princes Quay and Prospect Centre) Weve got Big Fun , We have got swimming baths , and nice parks ... just because Hull is hardly ever mentioned anywhere or anything , doesn't mean its a SHITHOLE ... i am from Hull and Proud of it :)

Just because we have 3 shopping centres etc mean Hull is a good place. With the flooding yes, we had it alot worse than other places and people didn't care - that was wrong. But flooding aside Hull can be a terrible place to live. Nice parks? Maybe nice litter bins, infact your from Hull, and defending it and you couldn't write one paragraph without swearing.

Ha, I live in Hull and my house was fine, however at the time I was sailing aound the Greek Islands on my mates 45foot German yacht in 40 degree heat so I missed all the action. Many houses near me still have caravans outside, it's like a gypsy city in parts (more than normal). Hull is a fantastic city but parts of it should of been washed away, along with most of the retards that live there.

Hull may not be the best place in the world, none of us are pretending it is but just think what you're saying before you say it. Some of us lost everything that day!
