Remember this afghanistan, back before the war of the pakis, there was more freedom than any other country and we were the most advanced. kabul jan and I am proud to be afghan it is all these crazy pakis and people who dont know how to read and write causing all the problems in afghanistan. all words we need for life are included in the dari/darbari dictionary there is nothing missed what we need.
there is no pars/fars name which is given to our language but still i think that this language "farsi" WAS BORN IN KHORASSAN :)))

@azam1346 "persian" is a name given by the greeks to the language spoken in iran and afghanistan, and they called the area persia, afghanistan was called Baktria by them.
dari is persian, and its old persian.
the persian spoken in afghanistan is closer to old persian poems written by Rumi and other persian poets, than the persian spoken in iran. afghans for example do not say merci, for thank you,but turks, iranians, and french do. and pashto does not equal taliban you are backward and racist
