  • $375 per month pays the rent on an apartment, a car payment, fuels your car for a month, etc. and if you're going to give more if to the Government, guess what, you have less money to spend on other things, because your basic necessities are also going up. Food and Energy Prices are going up, and now you think it's wise to raise taxes, so guess what, you have almost no economy left. Most people will do w/o any frills b/c making ends meet will be much harder.

  • It's not a substantial tax raise (only 3% I believe) and everybody else is getting tax breaks and benefiting. It's not a great system but necessary during a recession. We can't let the middle class go to waste...and the Bush tax cuts cost a massive amount for the federal gov't. It's not like the money is being blown off. How else to you regulate an economy?

  • @MikeHartFanatic Your whole premise that tax cuts cost the Government money is wrong. Second of all, the last thing we need to do in this economy is raise everyone's taxes, what we need to do is make people who are gaming the system and paying zero taxes, pay their fair share. GE, Google, Goldman Sachs, etc. pay no income taxes, as well as the rich liberals like Gates, Jobs, Ted Turner, etc. The Rich lobby for more taxes for a reason, because they don't pay any of it, zip, zero, zilch.

  • These rich people, use the Government Powers to get grants to fund their projects and make themselves rich and give none of it back to society if the company succeeds in the form of taxes. If they fail, they get bailed out. The people you want to raise taxes on are actually the middle class, the people making $100,000 or more. These people own mom & pop shops. 3% is substantial, if you're paying $35,000 and it's now $39,500, that's $4,500 more each year or $375/month.

  • @MikeHartFanatic Last, but not least, most of the taxes we pay in Federal Income Taxes actually goes to the rich bankers. The Federal Income Tax is unconstitutional. Little of that money gets spent on the so-called poor and Government Services provided to us. It goes right into the hands of the bankers of the Federal Reserve. Liberals are naive when they think Govt is there to protect us from poverty as much as Conservatives are naive to think it protects us from Terrorists. It does neither

  • OMG...Republicans give this country such a bad image it's not even funny.

  • @MikeHartFanatic Yes, but the people who chant "Hope and Change" or "Yes We Can!" with their hands out looking for freebies, they give America a good name...

  • @investorspolldotcom What's wrong with helping out the middle class, or hard working Americans who don't make $200,000 a year? Sometimes you have to think outside the box. I also think many Republicans approaches to education is a joke. You have to allocate money and gov't spending for the resources we need as Americans!

  • @MikeHartFanatic The middle class and the hardworking Americans who don't make $200,000 a year are the ones getting squeezed by the stupid Left Wing Agenda that is designed to help only the ultra rich and the ultra poor who refuse to work. The people who want to work or who are working and barely getting by are the ones getting fucked by stupid Liberal Taxes and insane dumbass Liberal Regulations. Try selling a house or starting a business of your own and see how much stupid red tape there is.

  • @investorspolldotcom I disagree with your sentiments. Do you even know anything about Obama's tax plans? He's adding taxes for incomes $250,000 or more, who normally get tax breaks under right wing policies. Let the rich get richer while the middle class and poor get kicked in the face. That is NOT what I will stand for under ANY circumstance. We in the middle class work hard for our money and get benefited under Obama's economic plan.

  • @MikeHartFanatic Under right wing policies, tax cuts were given across the board from the richest to the poorest. But yeah, let's just tax the rich right, oh but wait, when the rich take their money to China, India, etc. and invest their money in other countries, the United States via magic can tax them then right? Yeah, let's tax the rich so the middle class and poor have a better chance, I mean, after all, they really don't need their jobs, and we don't want people to invest in USA, right?

  • I'm always amazed at how little Americans Know! See the video response! Then go to the website listed at the end. Obama is not eligible, I was suprised by the guy seeming to know, it has nothing to do with his Birth Certificate! It's set up to take you through a little bit of american history! With audio files and stuff. Also, people should look up Fabianism! and John Locke!

  • damn, I dont understand why republicans are SUCH HUGE PUSSIES....anti-american assholes
