The original (better) clip was actually posted by another youtube user wning12 as mentioned by a previous posting.

It was said at chinamusical forum that the singer was not familiar with this song, and followed an instrumental demo with one line being set 8 octave lower.

Judging by his powerful rendition of the remaining high notes, he would otherwise have been able to sing the line at its normal pitches had a correct demo been used.
