These individuals are not the ones killing the people overseas nor promoting that, they have a culture and positive aspects of their country that they should be proud of. to understand that means to be culturally competent.

Propaganda at its worst. It's a funny thing that no one here will show that Israel's human rights record in the occupied territories (not mainland Israel, but the West Bank and Gaza) is good. That's because you people CAN'T! Look at Amnesty, HRW, etc. and you'll see there's not a single report that Israel has a decent record in the OT. Or even better, read Finkelstein and Chomsky and learn the truth.
