  • i am learning kendo now so i can take on kenpachi when i die lol

  • I see this in anime a lot... Is this used as a training exercise? Because when the character says they want to become stronger with the sword, they practise this movement.

  • SWEET! I've been looking for a kendo guide for a long time!! .....when i become a katana wielding Thunder God i'm gonna name one of my finishing moves after you

  • curious....the katana has a sori or curve to it...the way you swong the blade...it seems like that wouldnt cut your opponent as much as extending your arms all the way out and then bringing them down...which would use the blade more than the arms.

  • haha i love your videos

domo arigato gozimas(im not good with phonetics)

  • very nice videso i am going to a starter lessen and see if this is good for me

nest week. i like japanese samurais and stuf a lot and wish i coud weal a sword

you never know when you need this stuff ;)

  • Hello excuse me, i was just wondering where i could purchase your dvd?

  • martial arts is for defending yourself, not hurting people, but if your in a tight situation, why would you have a kendo stick with you?

  • If you ever even thought about showing up to a kendo dojo with anything but a shinai, kendo isn't for you.

  • Yeah, Kendo is awesome, I play it with my heart. I t is much more important than gazing the opponent. I believe.

  • kendo look real cool...maybe i should give it a try

  • absolutely useful thanks sensei

  • I use to take kendo for a very short period here in miami, florida but the dojo closed down :( I find these video's very helpful thank you for the uploads.

  • Good kids these days know how to separate reality from fantasy.

GG with training any Batto-jutsu with a bokken/shinai.

  • @eulaylia ya kenpachi did it when he was fighting spoonhead ^^

bleach is the reason why im here :)

  • @eulaylia me too

  • up and down..... just cut enemies up... pilling them down, kuhahaha... but a good basic of knowlegde though...

  • Thank you for your comment and compliment.

Yup. Slice your ememies up! But we are not learning how to hurt others, ey.

We just want to be strong mentally and physically so that we can confront and deal with difficulties in our lives. I am still learning it thorugh kendo.

I still find it very hard to control my selfishness. Man, I wish I could slice tthat right off of me! Still learning. It is deep...

  • Kendo is a life journey. It chooses you not the other way around. My way to the path of the sword was shown to me in a dream. Though I'm still a beginner, I've already learned a good deal that I use for every day situations. Btw, thanks for the videos.

  • @dojo2go It´s for some people, including me, that if we practice some sort of martial art or weapon combat is more for the spirituality, and not to damage others... for that there is a gun.

  • Thanks for another good video.

  • Thank you for your comment.

    You're very welcome.

  • I guess knowledge isn't free!

  • Sorry mate. There are still free stuff at kendo-guide website. Kendo instruction articles with pictures and some videos are still fee. Newsletter is free too. :)

Come and visit kendo-guide website once in a while.

  • Cool! im going to right now!
