It's insulting to speak on issues without also considering the perspective of the aggrieved. Especially if you haven't walked in their shoes (same or similar life experience). If a rape victim was telling me her feelings, I would be "all ears" and trust her validity. I would NEVER have the gall of trying to trivialize her pain. Weak counterpoints like "did you flirt, what were you wearing, women shouldn't be out that late, etc." would do just that. The point is, the guy had no right to rape her!
It's not as if once slavery ended, all was well with race relations. Blacks remained on the receiving end of injustice for a very LONG time. They were routinely lynched, faced "Jim Crow" laws, denied land & voting rights, jobs, equal access to public resources, etc. For another century after slavery, Blacks faced the sting of de jure/de facto segregation while others were allowed to freely prosper. It's not dwelling on the past by simply admitting it's causal relationship to the present.

Yes, folks have been subjugated the world over, but, not to the extremes of American slavery. Blacks were stripped of their native tongue, names, customs, religion, etc. This was NOT the case elsewhere (including the Moors as you mentioned). @1911sFINEST HOWEVER, there are innumerable examples where folks have been subjugated just as badly as the African blacks were in the American south, e.g. for centuries white Europeans were captured in the Mediterranean by the barbary pirates and sold into slavery in the Muslim world, the women often as concubines. The enslavement of Africans by other Africans for centuries was just as bad, in some cases worse, as in America. The idea that America slavery was uniquely savage is simply untrue.

And somehow their descendents have recovered from that. Even in the immediate post-bellum USA, some former slaves went on to become extremely successful and prosperous. Asian-Americans rose from severe discrimination in one generation or less because they don't take the attitude that anyone owes them anything. Study up on what the Chinese and Japanese were subjected to over the years, including all the west coast Japanese being imprisoned during WWII, and now they eclipse whites in every measure of success.

Why do we celebrate holidays that mark events that happened in the past? Why is the Alamo important? It's insulting to speak on issues without also considering the perspective of the aggrieved. Especially if you haven't walked in their shoes (same or similar life experience). If a rape victim was telling me her feelings, I would be "all ears" and trust her validity. I would NEVER have the gall of trying to trivialize her pain. Weak counterpoints like "did you flirt, what were you wearing, women shouldn't be out that late, etc." would do just that. The point is, the guy had no right to rape her!

It's not as if once slavery ended, all was well with race relations. Blacks remained on the receiving end of injustice for a very LONG time. They were routinely lynched, faced "Jim Crow" laws, denied land & voting rights, jobs, equal access to public resources, etc. For another century after slavery, Blacks faced the sting of de jure/de facto segregation while others were allowed to freely prosper. It's not dwelling on the past by simply admitting it's causal relationship to the present.

Yes, folks have been subjugated the world over, but, not to the extremes of American slavery. Blacks were stripped of their native tongue, names, customs, religion, etc. This was NOT the case elsewhere (including the Moors as you mentioned). Others were mistreated yes, but never denied their actual humanity itself (3/5 human remember)!!

@1911sFINEST HOWEVER, there are innumerable examples where folks have been subjugated just as badly as the African blacks were in the American south, e.g. for centuries white Europeans were captured in the Mediterranean by the barbary pirates and sold into slavery in the Muslim world, the women often as concubines. The enslavement of Africans by other Africans for centuries was just as bad, in some cases worse, as in America. The idea that America slavery was uniquely savage is simply untrue.

And somehow their descendents have recovered from that. Even in the immediate post-bellum USA, some former slaves went on to become extremely successful and prosperous. So don't tell me that blacks today are still suffering from the denial of humanity to their great-great-great-great-grandparents. That's just an excuse for bad behavior.

Asian-Americans rose from severe discrimination in one generation or less because they don't take the attitude that anyone owes them anything. Study up on what the Chinese and Japanese were subjected to over the years, including all the west coast Japanese being imprisoned during WWII, and now they eclipse whites in every measure of success.

Oh please! Any criticism of him is not based on his education & subsequent success (albeit at what/whose expense). Having an opinion contrary to your own has nothing to do with "growing up". In fact, I once thought as such until I did actually "grow" (intellectually, socially, etc.). I have a graduate degree, very nice job & decent life/family (far from having any "inferior" thoughts, trust me). why do some people feel they need a leader to think for them?
aren't we really all individual beings with our own thoughts and ideas?
if so shouldnt we then be personally responsible for our individual actions?

Side Note: At the end of the day we focus to much on pointing the finger and not finding a solution to the problem that exist in our communities. Racism is a billion dollar empire. Money is what lead the blind to there death. But they depends on the person who intents to destroy.

I have degrees and talk to my brothers and sisters about there history and how we can solved the problem but at the end of the day I know when one of our own is trying to profit off black people in Americans.

He points out things that just generally happen you can't say that 12% black population which is small compare to 75% Europeans and he say that we commit most of the unexplained acts in the United States. Okay first you have to be insane or lost mentally in history. Now he points out things that we already know but keep in mind most blacks suffer from mental paralyze from lack of understanding the true problem.

I like how the the negros here never go after the Stats, because they know that the Stats are true. If Whites were raping 37,000 negros every year negros would be rightly outraged. This number is the same as the number as were killed in the entire Vietnam War or are Killed in Automobile accidents in the USA every year.
How many Whites raped a negro? ZERO.
The only answer is Reprisals. Whites will only be safe when negros FEAR to touch a White. Latinos have shown this to be true.

@PistolTeacher The USA was built on the rape of black women by white males. Although the institution of slavery has officially been shut down, the plantation mentality remains. Today there are white males committing heinous crimes against black women including rape, vehicular manslaughter, bullying, etc. It's known that white males are bullies and have short fuses (i.e., "white brotherhood" of police depts, etc.) But judgment has started and white supremacy is being dismantled. Bye-bye.

Middle-aged white male intentionally runs down black woman on bicycle, driving n2 her from BEHIND, using racial slurs; 2, white male attacks pregnant black woman @ 7-11 store kicking her in stomach and using racial slurs; 3. white males/females rape and mutilate young black woman held hostage, using racial slurs; 4. Serena WIlliams verbally attacked by white male while playing tennis, etc.

@2dasimmons That is not the point. Negros rape, rob, pillage far more than any other race. If I were going to cite individual stories, I can match you story for story. Here is a good one: Black couple BBQ Baby here on Youtube. Or today, negros beat Whites in Ohio saying "It's beat Whitey Night!" (See Youtube video).
You examples don't pay for 37,000 rapes every year. Only reprisals will balance the scales.

But even as we share opinions here on YouTube, the process of reconciliation has started. Again, white supremacy is the poison of the world that has created race-hate. I have seen comments from whites saying we blacks are "babykilling abortionists", yet on the same page blacks are called " baby makers having too many babies on welfare". Make up your minds for pete sake. We can't be both. Either we are pumping babies out our @sses at the speed of light or we are killing enogh babies to fill all the slaughter houses. And Larry Elder can't really comment on black folks. He hasn't seen one since 1986.

White supremacy is the poison of the world spread via colonialism. Europeans imposed their brutal race superiority perspective on the world and now it is coming back to haunt them. The black on white violence is a result of centuries of white on black violence. Eventually "the chickens come home to roost." In the "ghetto" an obsession with "good hair", pale skin, bullying (white males r THE bullies), anger, etc all stem from w/s. When white supremacy is eliminated, the world will heal.

This guy is saying what I have been saying for years, but because I am white, when I say it I am labeled a racist. If one looks past the emotional baggage and looks only at the research and the data, one will agree with this man. The only people who will disagree have a racially charged agenda. @Inmyopinionamerica I agree. From what I've seen, Larry Elders is one of those opportunistic blacks who benefits from putting blacks down, but would not fight the battle to uplift blacks. Of course we have black on white crime today! White on black crime set the precedence for it: today there are gang bangers who admire the mafia and want to be gangsters. In addition you have the "white brotherhood" of the police, etc. being bullies and creating bullies. But the w/s system is being overturned.
