@jchave555 i recomend pioneers subwoofer @bangfor the buck. really really cheap subwoofers and dont need that mutch enclosure, you can have a 60-100L ported box with 2 spl pioneers,, but i recomend buying an amp from somewhere else because pioneer apms are expensiiive

@EXOabigdeal i think that there is not much sense in running more power to them than rated. beacouse 20k is usally only avalabile when like reving 3500RPM. and in theory there is only a 3 dB diff so yeah fuck that.

@EXOabigdeal well as much as i heard and seen; doubling the power usally just makes it louder on the meter, so if you are db draging, than yes. but on the ear there is not a lot of diffriance and also when you go over rated power the sub will go over linear excursion and that doesn't sound good at all. so i think that for pure SPL competiton cars yea it's worth it. for just loud listening i would rather add another sub than double the power. that's just my 2 cents.

@brandonleelaird It is not all about the watts. I have seen 1000 watt max amps push to 1 18" kicker and it pound. The type of vehicle box and tuning help a lot with what you get. Yea more watts are nice. But, I did not gain much when I went from one 1800 max watt amp to 3600 max watt amps. (900 rms at 2 ohms that I am running them at.) But, look around. You can get decent amps for cheap. Even name brand. What I am trying to do now. Making it bigger

Now I am sure in this truck ya would notice something. The bouncing steering wheel and if ya wear glasses. Strap them to ur head. And I could only magine that you see blurred. But, if ya use to the bass. I dont think it would make a difference for us.
