  • WhAbout Koussevitzky's: more sound!! ought to be played near the bridge at fortes!!! ought to break that bass!

  • Where are the details of this amazing video??? Mean musicians' names

  • This is wonderful! What great skill and sensitivity these two men have!

  • what a BADASS bass player

  • Beautuful interpretation! one of the best i've heard, great work of mind and heart!

  • Muy bien Maestro..¡ Felicitaciones !

  • great koussevitzky performance. tempo is good. vito luzzi plays it too slow.

  • I think they are taking the "Expressive Liberties" they are becuase Rossini is an operatic composer so they are using all the operatic rubato and cadenza opertunities to show off their playing. They obviously have some serious skills so if you don't like the interpretation then I would say you should work up the piece and post it on you tube to show how you would play it.

  • this isnt koussevitzky...Rossini

  • @hentaiwarrior16

What are you on about? This is Koussevitzky

  • Einfach KLASSE!!!

  • The tempo doesn't make sense.

  • People youre all crazy! What does a "REGULAR BASS PLAYER" mean?!@! The only thing important is how it sounds and if the preformer shows emotion durng play as well as technic... everyone sees it his own way, there arent two persons with the same heartbeat on this planet... just stop criticizing... there are two possible comments about a prefomer... "I like it" and "I dont like it" aand maybe "I dont care" :) AND thats only if you think you are worthy enough to comment this player...

  • Stupid ass fuck! pick up an instrument and read music. The tempo can go fast or slow depending on the song. Now STFU and enjoy the music. FUCK

  • Maestro, probably it's too fast! Also when Koussevitzky was a director of BSO he didn't like too fast times. In this case there's no lyrism but only technique. IMHO.

    My best regards.

  • Excellent ! The Art this is !!!

  • the tempo changes don't make any sense in the rossi...also get a shorter stool, you look like an idiot.

  • Definitely the Rossini

  • This is Rossini's cello and bass duet, not Koussevitzky

  • Stick it out. I have it on good authority that it was actually written by Rachmanininov for Koussevitsy. Just as well he disowned it.

  • The Koussevitzky starts around 4:40
