  • What is screwed up is not only is the oil and fuel toxic and being dumped into the water, but 98% of chinese toys are also toxic, they have been loading up the toys the send to US for years! And seeing as how water is the universal solvent, everything in those containers will eventually become more poison to execute the ecosystem!

  • Atleast its only "hundreds of tons" not millions

  • NZ'ders hate amaericans...i would never visit there again...

  • @onceANexile most people hate americans, but its misdirected hate, they should actually be hating the american government, not the actualy americans

but the hate itself is justified, go study history in a country other than america to find out

  • @williamxiji - tell me, will classical history due?...

  • @williamxiji - I know!- How about I read Karl Marx's history of how britain produced a land and generations of commonwealth flunkys, fags, and whores...

  • Is there not a way to send an empty cargo ship, and transfer the remaining cargo from the wrecked ship, to the empty ship. Those only millions of dollars worth of cargo on board.

  • How sad just think all those chinese products will never make it to the Walmart .

  • Who own's this ship? Is it an Indian company?

  • This is not a tanker, this is container ship

  • nobody is ever responsible for this damage. they just literally brush it into the ocean

fucking up our world, one day at a time

  • Whoever did this must die.

  • Ship Happens.

  • oil > ocean

  • Stop whining. Ships have been wrecking ever since Mankind began sailing them thousands of years ago. It is merely the RECKLESS BEHAVIOR of the shipper, outfitting his vessel with INCOMPETENTS which put his cargo and the environment in danger. Unless AUTHORITIES ACT to PROSECUTE the RESPONISBLE PARTIES then these sort of events will continue to occur.

  • They should try to jettison 50 of those containers in the hopes of re-floating her. By trying to save the entire cargo they will lose the entire cargo and the ship as well. It already looks to be to late as the ship is obviously buckling. The problem is that no one wants to take responsibility for throwing over cargo, because if it succeeds in saving the ship some bean counter will say it wasn't necessary and you are a villain.

  • Hey if u paid 1,500$ for that vibra-dildo-nippleclamp-o-matic 3000 you'd be very upset too

  • Now some person is going to complain to the delivery company that their foreign sex toy was late.

    First world problems.....

  • This looks like an insurance job.

The owners of the Rena decided to ground the ship in the one place on earth where outdated penalties are in place. Saving them millions in financial liability, It just makes economic sense to do the insurance job here.

It is about time this were seen for what it is and charged as a criminal act.

  • @Playboysmurf1 Well? Governments of the world are you listening?!?! Playboysmurf1 has made a series of bold claims and assumptions without any evidence or proof! WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO LISTEN TO THE COMMON MAN VAGUE UNSPECIFIED GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY!!!???

  • @Playboysmurf1 - Could be- I was the Inspector on the SS Puerto Rican that blwe-up off the GG Bridge...It finally occured to me it was an insurance-job...

  • Oil, toxic substances, and meat patties all on the same vessel?

  • Jesus! How many oil spills have their been in the last year or so? Seems like a lot. For something that is considered to be so valuable, people sure seem to spill a shit ton of it into the ocean. And how does a ship these days hit a coral reef? Doesn't it take a long time for those to form? You would think that captains would know where they are by now and not steer their ship into them.

  • I LOVE IT ! Worldwide social unrest, disasters, mass murder. The world is in turmoil, under poor leadership. Time for a NEW beginning.

  • take that earth!

  • we're screwed. WE'RE SCREEEEEEEEWED! I REPEAT WE ARE SCREEEEEWWWWED !

  • the narcissistic multinational corporate tyrant oligarchy uses this liability as a weapon against all humanity. They will stop at nothing to poison the world and destroy humanity .

  • Those poor animals :o(

  • are u dume it was earth qwak that hit 5.5 deep 1 same time same plz q made emp blast hit ship thats why they hit reef

  • OIL IS FILTH

  • It is amazing the ship has not come apart yet. The stress on the frame is enormous. As the tide goes in and out, part of the ship floats up and down while the other end is on ground. With it cracking already this is amazing it has not continued. The oil is going to be coming out, but if it sinks then what else will enter the environment from those containers? It is rediculous that noone has made an attempt to remove any of the containers yet.

  • @electroken and they wont until irreversibly damage is done

  • My oh my what out of the world comments I see here. The conspiracy theorists are already at it when it was irresponsible conduct of the captain of this ship which let it run aground. I have been at sea and it is also more easy than a person can imagine to almost run into another ship. The ships all ply the same routes or pathways trying to get from port to port in the shortest route. There are rules to follow but they are not followed all the time. This was caused by someone not doing his job.

  • They're finishing up BP's mess and now this happens, there has to be some way to find a new alternative source of fuel instead of this toxic, environment destroying substance called oil.

  • The Captain was trying to beat another ship into Harbor... and as I understand it he was taking a shortcut.....over land

  • Filipino Captain and Navigator.... nuff said

  • The Planeteers could combine their powers to summon Captain Planet

  • Not a peep about this in Western news.

  • @bamboo4tameshigiri Loads on UK tv and satellite tv

  • @gssg9 I haven't heard a peep in the US.

  • This dying NWO beast is cornered and lashing fiercely. Turn yourselves in Rothschilds Bilderbergers no underground bases to crawl into anymore. My sources say they've been destroyed!!

  • poison, how convenient

  • IF WE REALLY DONT WANNA POLLUTE OUR ENVIRONMENT THEN WE SHOULD SWITCH TO ALTERNATIVE ENERGY RIGHT NOW! STOP USING OIL!

  • wow that cost some money

  • but my car gets 32 miles per gallon highway

  • Great footage RT. Who filmed this, crew member or a freelance expert like Geoff Mackley? Haven't seen this anywhere else yet.

  • funny the republicans approved a shipping deal with oil countrys but not jobs bill when will that go wrong

  • Why don't they take a Sikorsky S-64 Skycrane with a max lift weight of 21000 pounds or maybe use two of them to start taking cargo off that ship and just maybe it will right itself when it gets light enough. The holes can be patched and tow boats can bring it into port.I guess all of that would take way too much money and its cheaper to just let it break apart and fuck up the ocean there.

  • @profsat5 Once it becomes a salvage operation. The cargo becomes an insurance claim. So who ever owns the cargo will get more money than the cargo is worth. Sad but true.

  • @gssg9 Yes got to agree with you on that one.

  • shit happens

  • More shit is going to the Ocean. Thanks corporate asshole to keep fucking up the sea.

  • does it seem strange to anyone that we destroy the planet (which we need to SURVIVE) in order to make money (which is man made and of NO ACTUAL VALUE)?

  • @KillerWhaleSFl what do you mean of no value? Value is what others perceive of what you got.

  • @1ohtaf1 no INTRINSIC value . You can't eat or drink, or use as fuel, you get the idea..

  • @KillerWhaleSFl It can be used to be traded for those things hence its value.

  • @KillerWhaleSFl that was well sided , you couldn't have hit the point any better . you have my vote for # 1 comment of the day

  • @KillerWhaleSFl money is an exchange, we all knew it has no value.

  • @KillerWhaleSFl We are not destroying the planet.........we are just making it less habitable for ourselves. The planet will continue to carry on as it has for many millions of years......with new creatures coming and going adapting to new environments. We only have ourselves to blame for the changes to come and WE, not the planet, will pay the price.....

  • @Minc67 You are right, life on Earth will continue no matter what we do. We could definitely alter the evolutionary path however, something akin to what happened to the dinosaurs.

Who knows maybe its the cockroaches turn to evolve..

  • @KillerWhaleSFl

The earth is the Lord's in the fullness therof. Believe what ever story you like.

    God created the earth.

    Peace to you.

  • @beyondonethousand age of universe 12-14 BILLION years old. age of homo sapien (modern man) 200-300 thousand years old.

I have a question, what happened in the 12.5 billion years before human beings ever came along (its not mentioned in the bible)? Did your god also create the HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS of other planets in the known universe? is he also god to the creatures that surely inhabit them? do you share your god with aliens?

or did HE just create the earth?

  • @KillerWhaleSFl

God created everything. Which aliens do you exactly mean? And the age of the universe is exactly how much and who can even prove billions? Several questions to ponder. Too many numbers far beyond human capacity to understand and extrapolate.

All the best to you Killerwhale for 2012. :)

  • @beyondonethousand

well actually, man created God, if you or anybody else has proof otherwise, feel free to msg me.

  • @cgauler

No proof that YOU will accept. Your mind is made up. You trust that the world will solve it's own problems.

  • @cgauler I hate to admit it, but I must agree... No proof has been provided yet of this 'god'... Just words on paper and cement and a fantastic fairy tale....

  • @KillerWhaleSFl lol.... way to troll a comment...

  • @Minc67 Exactly. Once we're gone mother Earth will revitalise herself in no time and you'd never know we'd been here.

  • @KillerWhaleSFl that was a stupid comment. Revise it.

  • @zyndall7 your a stupid comment. Revise your face!

  • It's simple: we nuke the ship

  • Kent Brockman: The captain was allegedly drunk at the helm

Captain: Y'arrr, I'm in a lot of trouble right now... (pokes reporter) Hey, I'll give you $100 to take the blame...

  • all those goodies on the beach

  • Just spray some Bacteria on it and it will be good as new.

  • This at some point will flip completely.

  • GOOD JOB EVERYONE LETS KEEP FUCKING THIS PLANET UNTIL IT FUCK US BACK!!!!

  • @5mentarioz No way man God Bless us and this planet : )

  • More contamination for the watter.

  • Great. Now I need to find skinnywhop87's comment.

  • @councilmandoug808 You do that. Its an epic one for the corporate whores out there, thumb up. };)

  • @councilmandoug808 me toooo! lol

  • i think its time people die off

  • All by design!!!

  • we need to stop being so damm dependant on oil, fuel. this is just ridiculous! greedy fucking bastards. they are millionaires and still want to fill and fill and fill their pockets. not giving a fuck if they harm the ocean. enough is enough. the cost of living is going up more taxes. how the fuck can they do that. when minimum wage is low and not enough jobs. people can barely make ends meet. and they decide to raise the price on everything. not right at all.

  • @CAF420ALLDAY7 well said

  • @lwvok thank u.

  • my species disappoints me, again.

  • How the fuck does a reef split a tanker in HALF?!?!

  • @helioncry

    Gravity and speed = power.

  • @Wofaze Ya but why didn't the force disperse towards the velocity? ... I would understand if it had gutted itself and sheared the hull, but a split?! Do these tankers have something underneath that could catch or something?..

  • @helioncry Half of the ship is on the reef and the other half is rising and falling with the surf this is what is causing it to rent laterally.

  • @Zyworski ah... cheers.

  • An excuse to start using more corexit?

Elites want us whole bunch of us to die....georgia guidestones top line.

  • did someone post already "jews"? :p

  • yedun goofed

  • I'm so sick of seeing this shit....I really wanted to go to New Zealand too, but I see we fucked that up real nice.

  • @Organnabis GO! It is the MOST beautiful you have ever seen! This is just one little area, the coast stretches endlessly and the country is wonderful!

  • @ezalburez Sounds awesome, I can't wait! I'm not looking forward to the flight though!

  • @Organnabis The flight sucks. It took 24 hours. When we got there, it was the same day. When we left, we lost a day. It is so worth it. NZ was one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen! So greeeen!

  • @Organnabis

    Don't let this discourage you.

The boat is some Liberian registered piece of corporate trash captained by the lowest possible dollar.

Aint got anything to do with you, have fun while you are here =)

  • @lamecontentrestrict It looks amazing and it's been on the top of my list of places to visit and explore, possibly even live. Thanks for the hospitality =)

  • captain: hrrm needs more list

    crew: *nods

  • Fucking joke mate!

  • to much toxic. soon sharks will mutate get legs and start chasing dumb humans on the ground

  • i dont understand how this and all oil leaks happen!! check ship all the time before a trip)) and drive it properly, u are the only one in the ocean its not a road and still they have accidents!! wow

  • @ukrainevladcanada its not an accident its done on purpose by the illuminati

  • @rapcity041 Get a grip lmao

  • @3rewster what do you think this was an accident?just like the power plant that blew up japan?or like 2-3 months non stop oil spilage in gulf of mexico was an accident?if you think this is coincidence or an "accident" keep smoking that shit you smoke

  • @3rewster he's right bro. it was in-fact the Illuminati. you are the one needing to get a grip... and give your head a shake while you're at it. This IS the world we live in

  • @rapcity041 u mean on purpose?? lol good job then!!

  • @ukrainevladcanada ofourse on purpose,we living in 21 st century where everything is staged, research about HAARP even eartquakes and tzunamis can be made and are made now days

  • @rapcity041 yep...some people say that the earthquake in Japan was made because of some technology been tested at that time and whole Japan suffered !!((( some earthquake technology to check if it works....GOOD JOB IT, WORKS....fuking assholes!! i am just saying in general that no body gives a fuk about consequence and about people its only about 10 people who control all that....the rest of the world...fuk it lol(((

  • @ukrainevladcanada The plates of the earth sit on an ocean of molten rock. The Japan earthquake was completely natural! They are in the ring of fire, one of the most volcano and earthquake prone regions on the entire PLANET. Japan is RIGHT ON THE RIM. Please, don't make the rest of us look like fools by spouting this paranoid bullshit unless you have actual proof.

Earthquakes are natural, and while I'm sure man may be able to cause them, this one has been a long time coming.

  • @ukrainevladcanada And given the pattern of the major earthquake and the many, many subsequent smaller ones, I'm sure there is going to be more tragedy in Japan. It's just our living world at work.

  • @jreed136 yep))

  • @ukrainevladcanada Because, more than likely, Japan has begun to slowly slip off its shelf. It could take tens of thousands of years - but in the scope of Earth-time, it's just a blink of an eye. It's not manmade, this is just how it goes.

I think people forget that at one point, all continents were one. They were not always in the same configuration because our planet is as ALIVE as we are. -_-

  • @jreed136 good point!!

  • Deliberate Insurance scam. Ran aground on a reef in calm seas.

  • @hoplite46 maybe not remember the Valdez?

  • May the whales, sea turtles, and nemo enjoy the ipads. Its the least we can do.

  • who cares, it probably has more crap made in China. We

  • The life span of a deep sea ship is 15 years. They keep them going until they sink. That's why the Liberian, Iberian registry etc. Ports of convenience.

  • just burn the oil , you dumbasses!

  • @Strikerokk Yeah and let it burn the fuck out of our o zone layer ahahah mot really the best thing either way we fucked something up.

  • @tapio232 actually it was ur fat mother

  • omg is my weed ok?

  • right i want thumbs up because im pointless retard, erm fuick america and the zionists and jew bankers

  • IF THE NZ GOVERNEMNT STILL HAD THEIR SKYHAWKS, THEY'D BE BOMBING THE SHIT OUTTA THAT SHIP

  • they should set that on fire... so the oil will goin to decrease =)))

  • it wouldn't surprise me if the US blamed this on Iran or Somali pirates.

  • All abored the fail boat

  • If George Carlin was alive he could only laugh.

  • Seems Cpt Price was there

  • And this is why alcohol is legal & weed is not!? Drunk dumb shit.

How the f##k are they going to get the cargo off of there or move the ship?

How much more can the ocean endure!?

  • @bongojim420 Yeah man . It's getting to be a little too much we need to be safer with our land, treat it like we would treat ourselves ... Even better actuallly

  • @bongojim420 A lot more, to say the truth.

  • hope thier not using corexit, sure would decrease thier lifespan

  • Hello, buy a depth finder, DUH!

  • Remember NZ refused to join the willing coalitian to go and fight against Iraq & Afghanistan? Then 4 days after the Arab spring begins, who gets HARRP`d ?? NZ ! Now this!!

  • i worried about the cargo

  • is it normal procedure to just leave leaking cargo ships there for days?? there has to be a way to get those crates off and tow it out, or do something.

  • well look on the bright side..when all those containers wash-up on the shore it'll be bonanza city for the locals.

  • i hate humans

  • @MrAbsoluteknowledge and now in english

  • @MrAbsoluteknowledge i fell sorry for you.

  • @skinnywhop87

    Best reply ever.

  • @skinnywhop87 HAHA! Great comment by the way. }:)

  • @MrAbsoluteknowledge can i have an translation please? :L

  • @MrAbsoluteknowledge

    hurr durr

  • @TheTruthDK

well...its not like I don''t see where you are coming from, but given you are human yourself, should you not start with yourself and like, lead the lemmings off a cliff or something? pretty hypocritical that you are still around to say how you hate humans since you are one...and you'd be part of the problem if you are going to paint with such a broad brush...do you except yourself?

  • Meat patties. :-O

  • I love it how everyone goes to a disaster to stand around and look....

  • Why does this just seem too convenient? On a side note, work must suck today for the three that got on board...

  • nature-1 humans-0

  • how??

  • How did they manage to run on ground ?

  • @Thakrulll ... I heard one report saying the captain had been drinking. Don't know if that's true or not. It certainly was a navigation failure, as the reef is marked on nautical charts. That reef top must be very close to sea level, as I could see it being exposed as the waves washed over it. Perhaps NZ ought to also put a light station on it to mark it and warn mariners to try to prevent this from happening again if possible.

    > How did they manage to run on ground ?

  • @intuitiveexplorer Ahh okay. How you you run into something like that? I mean, don't they sail on charted routes?

  • @Thakrulll ... They're supposed to. But either they didn't, or they incorrectly determined their position? But in these days of GPS accuracy, how could you be so off? There will be an inquest. Right now their company's lawers probably have them told not to say anything to anyone. May just have to hear about things as they come out. Like with the Exxon Valdez wreck.

    > Ahh okay. How you you run into something like that? I mean, don't they sail on charted routes?
