I met John Lennon while he was in Bermuda....about 6 months before he was shot.

He was a nice guy and very ordinary. He told me that the "Mind Games" album was designed to be spinning in the window of the record shop...if you have the album cover, you'll notice that while the picture on both sides are the same, one side is a little bit larger, so the effect was a 'mind game'. This is the album he signed for me!
