  • stop fucking clap out of time!!!!

  • As long as the clapping is on time with the song, it does not bother me.

  • In the U.S. nobody claps unless prompted to do so. Everywhere else they clap. I'd rather less clapping cause I like to hear the music as much as possible. Just an observation. To each his own.

  • Guitar out of tune at 7:12 ??

  • Great filming!

  • There was a bitch clapping wildly at a Porcupine Tree show. They played "Time Flies" and she thought her damn flamenco clapping would fit the music. I could have killed her!!!

By the way.. Opeth is fantastic as usual

  • Haha yeah same thing with me man, at least clap on beat, right? Which show did you see them at?

  • @Camasdrumline: Saw them last autmn in Bremen, Germany. Katatonia was the opening act.. great band but unfortunately somehow the engeneer fucked up the whole sound. A shame! But Porcupine Tree were absolutely brilliant! It was funny.. before they started playing some dude went across the stage with a vacuum cleaner for like 20 minutes! He got an applause afterwards. xD Didn't know Steven Wilson likes to be barefoot on stage!?

But yeah.. the whole show was a rush. Want to see them again!

  • I fuckin hate it when people clap at concerts. Always ruins the music, fuckin morons.

    Don't fucking clap.

  • I totally agree.

If clapping made the song better, opeth would have put it in the song in the first place. Why are they doing it, to show that they can clap in time with a section in 6/8?... wow!

  • Oh, it was also funny how they tried clapping along to the piano fill which is in free time lol.

  • the worst is when the tempo changes for a silence moment, they begin to scream ruining the magic, but what the hell, it´s opeth dude

  • @efrainc23 im glad they do. if they didnt i wouldnt listen to this band.

  • @pwned2ice It really improves the atmosphere. If you want to listen to the mechanic studio record listen at your home..

  • @pwned2ice Way to kill the fun.

  • i shouldve gotten tickets to this for my birthday xD

  • that clapping really fucking ruined it, i hate morons

  • at least this audience wasn't totally off the rhythm like every other audience is.

  • the levelling of the guitars is perfect on this song live. not something they always get right, although i have seen them twice and they are incredible. arguably their greatest track ever, this

  • For Sure Man

  • GREAT! amazing! This song is specially for soul relax...

  • Goosebumps....

  • Oho, veti tän melkeen aika vitusti paremmin ku Kaapelitehtaalla, ellen sitte väärin muista :D

  • Opeth in one word: Amazing.

  • I love the song, 10 mins of life well spend on a great song !!!!

  • Took me so damn long to get used to this album. I bought it automatically as I am an Opeth fan. I am still in love with Deliverance/Damnation but I listened to this album while driving and it was amazingly great.

  • deliverance, dare i say it, as it is still a masterpiece, is their worst album to date in my opinion. my personal favourites: 1. still life 2. blackwater park 3. my arms your hearse 4. ghost reveries 5. watershed

  • I respect your opinion and agree that Still Life is a great concept album. I love the Moor! My top five: 1Deliverance/Damnation 2. Orchids (true classic) 3. BWP 4. Still Life 5. MYYH. And the rest is up in the air. I would like you to elaborate though on why Deliverance is bad.

  • deliverance is far from bad! it just isnt as consistently great as the rest of their work for me personally. orchid is truly great i agree. the moor is one of their best songs! i learnt that the other day. moonlapse vertigo is my favourite on still life. it is hard to pick their best song tho. maybe blackwater park or hessian peel, i dunno

  • Favorite song, Beautifully Haunting music and also Brutal!

  • omg this is the best song on watershed! and they play it in a perfect way!!

  • best song on watershed.

  • I Agree very good song!

But my favourite on watershed is Porcelain Heart Or hex omega!!!

  • Amazing atmosphere. Great everything! Amazing song.

  • OMG Opeth fans that can actually keep a beat! lol

  • Haha... that's my cousin playing guitar

  • i call bullshit

  • Say whatever you want, but i can prove it.

  • then prove it =)

  • Best song from Watershed album in my opinion...

  • I'm with you on that one

  • very good opinion, its this, heir apparent and burden for me :)

  • same here.

  • What camera have you got? Greeeeeeat for sound recording.

  • Samsung Digimax L50. I have to point out that sounds were awesome on concert, way the best I have heard in Teatria. Acoustics there are poor in general, but somehow O just sounded great, still.

  • how did you mannage to get such an amazing recording at a concert... wth... thats amazing they must sound like their in a recording studio live lol

  • love the riff at 3:28

  • i can't wait until i see them tomorrow

  • raising fists?

  • Best fucking ending to a song ever. It's like a tempest of sound that assaults your senses!

  • oh god,it sounds just like in the CD

    HAIL OPETH

    \m/

  • I think this song demonstrates what Opeth can really do. Genius.

  • 5:55 best riff ever!

  • i knew what riff you were talking about even before i got to 5:55

    best riff ever indeed!!

  • häh oliko mikael sanonu vihanneensa tätä keikkaa? :D

  • I'm pretty sure that its bullshit. I mean, predadors bad Finnish and all... Probably just a troll.

  • että oli hyvää....

    Mikael sanoi vihasi tämä konsertti

  • Kiitos! Loistavasta videosta. Olin itse opethin seinäjoen keikalla ja sait palautettua mukavasti keikan loistavan tunnelman! Seuraavaksi provinssiin opethia fanittamaan!

  • Perfect quality! \m/

  • What outstanding sound quality! Practically unheard of as far as amateur concert videos on YouTube go.

And of course, an outrageously great performance.

  • my favorite song from watershed. gonna see them 14 march in bergen norway. :=)

  • oh my god....

the end of this song is the most brutal, spine chilling shit i've seen in a long time...

i knew this song already rocked...but damn they rock the fuck out of it live

  • Comment removed

  • but after all i think people there are NOT pleasing you Qppi or anyone else but themselves so everyone has their own reaction and it's not any worse than yours.

  • I wanted to point out this whole issue, because there are many others too who get annoyed for that braindead clapping in moody moments, not to mention the band itself, trying to keep on time.

If claps go "in sync" with the song, thats ok, but there were moments that were not that ok, luckily just few so it wasn't bothering me so much.

Check the "Opeth Havana Cafe" video; that's what I'm talking about with this issue.

  • Last minute is BRUTAL. (in a good way)

  • God that riff after the solo is so glorious

Praying they play this in NYC in May

  • I totally agree, can't think of many riffs that can top that one.

  • FAP FAP FAP!

  • This song worked out perfectly live. I was in Kaapelitehdas, and it fucking rocked the whole night.

  • This gig last about 1 hour 40 minutes, absolutely fantastic performance all the time.

Only thing that sucks are those who clap their hands, and are out of sync... that's how to ruin the perfect moment from others.

  • I think that the band expects some kind of reaction from the audience and not just stand there like trees. I was at Kaapelitehdas and it annoyed me so much to see people just standing there with their arms crossed like they're waiting in a fucken queue. So at least in this case people were doing SOMETHING. (en ole suomelainen)

  • I really am into headbanging and mosh pit action when there is heavy stuff going on, but such emotional song with enormous feeling, I really can't see what is it, to clap hands? And in the worst case, out of sync... god's sake, there are bands like Oasis and others for that "yeah, we are having good time and for that we are clapping our hands" stuff.

  • Sometimes silence from the audience is a sign of their complete attention and enjoyment, I think mike and the guys would understand that. Hand clapping bugs me particularly, though

  • AWESOME, I wanted to see this one live so bad... hope they play it when they come to Argentina so I see it too :)
