Cette chanson me donne réellement une envie de pleurer. Cela ne m'arrive jamais! Je suis une fan de Radiohead, mais cette version surpasse tout. TOUT!
@ThnkHppyThghts Because he says "This is what you get when you fuck with us".. I think it's RIDICULOUS muting that single swearword out, thus ruining a part of the song.. I mean we won't die hearing it.
So, my mom is a Radeohead fan, then when I show her this cover, she was giving Jon 'I will rape you' eyes. I show her another video, turns out it was the shirt. Pparents are weird like that.
anybody realize that this is the first concert ryan played after his dad died, the DAY after the funeral, and that camisado is about his dad? he really needs some fucking credit for making it through this song...
I'm in love with Brendon's high note in Camisado o_o
Whoah. And. I don't care about Radiohead's cover, the original song is of course absolutely awesome. But the best cover of this song ever is the one Panic made at Denver concert. C=
really only if I feel terrible listening to this cover to see panic! atd ryan and it's my platonic love D: I love them i have loved this song makes me sad u_u
The song: Not as good as the cover; however, that was obvious. No cover can beat the Radiohead original. However, I really like how they made this their own. Panic!, quite honestly, has MUCH more talent than all of those other DecayDance bands COMBINED, especially Brendon's vocal abilities.
Also, 1:15-1:18 is the cutest Ryro smile. Ever. :)
Panic at the Disco in particular, is one of the most overlooked bands of their time in my opinion. Unfortunately they got caught up and immediately judged as one of those "eyeliner swoop bang" stereotypes, but if you truly listen to Brendon's voice and the way he conveys this song--he truly makes it his own. I just think it's a shame that he/they're always just going to be seen as poster boys and not seen as the artists they are.
Panic at the disco was better when they had the exclamation point in their name, when they were a neat mix of emo and electronica. but, they're nothing profound, so they should stop trying to be and just enjoy being what they started as.
@danny0788 Then the rest of the world should stop singing Happy Birthday because most of us ruin that. Panic! sang their own version (and did you even go to school? It's "they're" as in "they are" not "there". Yes, there is shit over THERE, on the other side of the internet, and that's you). Kudos to them for making this song theirs and not a mimicry.
Lastly, liking a group's appearance and caring deeply about their music are not mutually exclusive. I love many bands' songs, and care about the meaning and effort and influences behind them. Many other bands I like the music of, but find them as more just "eye candy". Panic!, among others, is a mix of caring or their music and finding them to be good-looking. And yes, Ryan was particularly cute here.
Wow, at 1:17, was that a real, honest-to-god Ryro smile? :)
Also, it was a decent cover, and I do like that they did Radiohead, but Brendon's voice isn't suited to it, especially back then when he was still fine-tuning his control. You can hear it, he was more off-key, pitchy, all over the place here. He got much better later on in their career.
Lastly, liking a group's appearance and caring deeply about their music are not mutually exclusive. I love many bands' songs, and care about the meani
yes I am a huge Panic! At The Disco fan, but some of the arguments you pathetic little fan girls come up with is not helping this cause.
So please, everyone's entitled to an opinion, but you're just making yourself look like a bit of a prick by arguing back with your points about their' Hair' and what not.
i am a very musically cultured individual take my word for it this is a great cover if yu were blind and could not see them you would say its a good cover except fro the part at the end where hes like is everyvbody ready to dance cuz thats fuckin gay
Even if people dont think their covers of songs are good, they do make them their own so it is harder to compare. Originals will always be better. It's just a fact. At least their live performances during this point in their career always exceeded their album or lived up to it, vocally and musically, and alot of artists today cant do that. So kudos to Panic for being good and unique<3
This cover is horrid... Honestly it's good that Panic likes Radiohead and takes influence but seriously. If your a fan of this cover please go listen to the original. There really is nothing like the original and I don't think any band could cover it well.
If people only make covers of songs they could do just as well of the original, there would be very few covers, I'm telling you that. You don't have to listen to this.
@fightingfoos Yep, I'm 13 and I understand that, truth is, the only reason Justin Bieber has fans is because he's "cute" to these mindless people, after all, after he cut his hair he lost fans, shows you the truth, no one gives a fuck about his music...
I myself wouldn't mind a heavier version of Karma Police but I didn't like this because of the singer's voice. I liked the drums though... 2/5 because he oversang...
I love there cover of karma police I love the way Ryan is singing along but it really sucks that they bleeped out the part where he says f..k that's my favorite part of the song
realize that in all that you said, you just show that youre the same as all the teenage girls that dont know/care who radiohead or thom yorke are. you said that if you respect a musician you see what influences them & then you said that panic is nothing but 'manufactured synth pop computerized bullshit with no substance'. it seems you havent looked very hard to see what influences them bc despite the synth pop their songs have substance. panic fans may not care about radiohead but...
I am a teenage girl who listened to all of Fever, bought the album and read the lyrics a million times before ever seeing their picture. Panic at the Disco got me to love music and meaning in music.
So what if I'd never heard a Radiohead song, I've heard them now, and I enjoy them, but Panic will always be my favorite.
@ohioasp If you liked Fever I bet you hated Pretty.Odd didn't you. I liked it but it seems like no one else did and for the love of god it sounded nothing like The Beatles
No, I liked both. I like almost all kinds of music. (Most country is the exceptions).
I think it sounded a little like the Beatles, with some of the orchestrations (spelling?) and maybe some of the beats of the songs. I did like Fever better, but that may have been because I heard it first. That's usually the way music is with me.
@ohioasp I liked both too, Pretty Odd is really nostalgic for me because it reminds me of the best summer of my life and I'm glad to find an open-minded Panic! fan because a lot of them I actually know hated Pretty.Odd although I still don't see The Beatles similarities and I

This guy can NOT sing at ALL!!!!! How bands like this make it past there garage is beyond me. Poor kids growing up these days just don't know any better I guess. BRUTAL
as if he pulled of that top note in camisado! listening to this actualy makes me sad knowing that i will never see panic! live doing their old stuff :( it was so good!
I know what you mean. They were really unique, and they looked cool. And now they just wear regular clothes. They also don't act the same on stage anymore. Oh well they're still good.
jeez i mean if you compare it BRENDON URIE is doing it LIVE & te radiohead version is fixed ohk? so OBVIOUSLY without a doubt brendons is soo much better .. but thats my opinion
Hell no is Brendon's voice better then Thom's. Never in a million years. I love Panic but Radiohead will always be a better band, vocally, lyrically, and well, musically. No doubt about that.
Good lord. Don't watch it if you don't like it. Why does everyone feel the need to leave nasty comments? If they want to do the cover, let them do it. You don't have to like it. For everyone who thinks he sings badly, go watch the version from Denver. It's much better, admittedly.
And I know Thom Yorke's voice isnt the prettiest, but it's interesting and appealing to the ears, this guy sounds like a whingey american teenager being strangled. AHH. Don't do covers, especially of something as stunning as Karma Police, if you're not up to it.
DEAR GOD. I love the original song, but wanted to hear this - Trying to have an open mind and all... But it's UTTERLY TERRIBLE. I don't even have a prejudice against Panic at the disco or anything, just always classed them as borin american emo kids, but this sounds like an awful attempt at kareoake or something.. It is PAINFUL to listen to... I am SHOCKED that they have a fanbase. I seriously recommend you have a listen at the Radiohead song. Is so much better..
lolz BRENDON IS A GREAT LIVE SINGER ITS JUST THIS SONG ISNT EXACTLY PANIC!AT THE DISCO ITS MORE SLOWISH ROCK BLUES BUT PANIC!AT THE DISCO ARE MORE ROCKISH EMOISH BUT NOT SO MUCH EMO

I liked Brendon's voice better here...
Now it sounds too perfect, too smooth. I like it when there is mistakes and cracks and all that jazz. It makes it more real for me I guess...

This guy can NOT sing at ALL!!!!! How bands like this make it past there garage is beyond me. Poor kids growing up these days just don't know any better I guess. BRUTAL

Good job on the autotune there Panic. At least Thom is a good enough singer not to rely on technology to save him when playing live.
Mobbsyomfglolz 2 years ago
this isnt autotuned.. you can tell because when he sings it in Denver it sounds different to how it sounds now.
Just because Brendon's voice is perfect doesn't mean it's faked. He really is just that good.

as if he pulled of that top note in camisado! listening to this actualy makes me sad knowing that i will never see panic! live doing their old stuff :( it was so good!
Ali4994 2 years ago 3
I know what you mean. They were really unique, and they looked cool. And now they just wear regular clothes. They also don't act the same on stage anymore. Oh well they're still good.
xkatiexluvsxyoux 2 years ago 3
XD Ryan has that look on his face that says "Put down my guitar or I'll kill you!"
kesprettyodd 2 years ago
holy freakin shiat! i love how @ 1:16 Ryan mouths the words! ahh ilhim...

Brendon isn't bad at all, considering its live and that. Thom is also very amazing.
I think they did it justice, I enjoy the Panic cover.
SammyTheDuck 3 years ago 6
Ynnekdude just shut up please
jeez i mean if you compare it BRENDON URIE is doing it LIVE & te radiohead version is fixed ohk? so OBVIOUSLY without a doubt brendons is soo much better .. but thats my opinion
steephiiexo 3 years ago
Radiohead also does this song live, seeing that it's their fucking song you twat. Thom's voice isn't "fixed" ohk!?
Hullio55 3 years ago
Uh, I like PATD and I like this cover but....
Hell no is Brendon's voice better then Thom's. Never in a million years. I love Panic but Radiohead will always be a better band, vocally, lyrically, and well, musically. No doubt about that.
deceivingGRACE 3 years ago
meh. i'm not a huge panic fan...
and some songs and/or bands just should not be covered.
alas, they just don't have any where close to the emotion that thom and radiohead have...
nice try though. and i always appreciate a cover because it at least shows that they respect and enjoy a band or artist enough to cover their song.

Way to ruin a beautiful song...

I think this is a really good cover, i love brendons voice, and if you dont like it watch the raidiohead version
SurferLizzie 3 years ago 2
This is actually a really good cover... Ryho = <3!
RaaachyFace 3 years ago 2

Equichav 3 years ago
What makes you think that some PATD fans don't already listen to Radiohead?
Seriously, everyone. Radiohead is an EXTREMELY famous and popular bad. A lot of people listen to them, including people who are also PATD fans.

What have you done to that awesome radiohead song?! That guy sings awefully bad... God! Why?! Why?!
todolodemas123 3 years ago
lol, and the original doesn't sing bad?
if we're comparing voices here, Brendon's is much, much better.
Lemziipie 3 years ago
you think Thom sings bad????
well, you just lost any and all credibility.
brendon gives it a good go but he cant musically touch Thom Yorke.
rottenlove420 3 years ago 4
Agreed, Rottenlove420.
deceivingGRACE 3 years ago
man brendon did it much better than Tom...
belive it or not...
awesome PATD!!!
HebertForHuck 2 years ago 6
