  • Hey! August is over. O_O I came over to see if anything changed on when the drawing would be. I also watched the video again and hit the like button with a piece of melon! You think that's crazy? @_@

  • Blue melons!!!!! Yes, mine are actually melons. Catch my drift? ;)

  • I would grow my own cantaloupes so I would know that they are fresh and tasty! That is how I would use my balcony!

  • Ok, I liked the video, and you sure have some huge melons lol XD.

  • ugh... my stomach hurts... I think it's because of the mango I ate... I really should stick to watermelon....

  • I could really go for some watermelon today it was around 100 degrees today and being in the heat and cooking is really a curse sometimes! It would be nice. ^>^

  • DERP

  • I love Hiragana so much that i would cut the symbols out of melon and learn with the fruit!

  • Cantaloupes?! We don't need no stinking Cantaloupes! But I sure do need some Hiragana cards! =)

  • Holy melons batman! Those cards would be super to have if I do say so myself!

  • I can't think of anything else i would want to eat right now other than a nice large watermelon!

  • I left the first reaction on this video! Wish i had a melon so i could draw a really nice reaction on it for you!

  • I think if i could i would make a brush out of a watermelon hide and go to town. Just to really help the environment! ^>^

  • How long did it take you to learn Hiragana find me in kurume? Did you use melons to help learn the stroke orders?

  • I think i would pay 600 yen for a melon granted that i bought it from a farmers market and not just any store!

  • I wonder how much samurai ate melon in the summer time?

  • I am gonna favorite this melon video cause you are so awesome find me in kurume! One of my favorite J-vloggers!

  • I might go out and buy some melon juice just cause of this video!

  • What's the japanese word for melon anyway?

  • I wanna make a shrine out of melons i love them so much! O_O

  • There's nothing like eating watermelon or other melons in summer! I mean you are nobody if don't love the melons!

  • Ha ha... look out Buster Keaton!

  • epic :-)

  • Liked:)

I guess there are 3 people who don`t want to study Japanese:)

  • Oh maybe I should add how to actually know if it is ripe or not: smell it. There should be a fragrant sweet smell and the blossom end should be slightly soft. No smell= unripe. Also the skin under the netting should be orange or golden. If it is green it is.....guess what? You said unripe? You got it right! Yay 1 star for you. :D

  • You know if you get a ripe Cantaloupe next time, chill it in the fridge for a bit and then eat it on a hot day, your tongue will orgasm with the lovely sweet taste. ^^ and yes, I just had to include orgasm in my comment. There I said it again, I am nice aren't I? :3

  • This is my first visit to this channel. The guys at benchfm have mentioned this channel so many times, I just had to come check it out.

I hardly ever comment and also never hope to win contests but those hiragana cards are just what an aspiring gaijin like me needs. I can only say "konbini" and "suica"! (And I don't even like watermelon that much; Cantaloupe is better)

Why do they call it the roof of your mouth when it is really the ceiling? Why don't woodpeckers get concussions?

  • "Canteloupe" is better than water"melon".

  • I can't think of a comment, so I'll just say, post more videos of your harmonica skills~

  • Lemons have feelings too!!! How would YOU like if someone put a price tag on your life and sold you as food?! Save the lemons!!

  • I wonder if jackalopes eat cantaloupes? That would be weird.

  • There is a famous musician who started a camp for kids to grow their own fruit. It's called the John Cougar Melon Camp.

  • Comment removed

  • as far as melons go, I prefer quality over quantity. big or small they should be really nice looking.

  • Ah, we had this conversation about overpriced fruits in Japan once, didn't we? Now its melons, last time it was apples. That being said, i think its rather said that you have to pay so much for a single fruit which might taste "okey " and nothing more. Btw : apGreat job on that silent movie ;)

  • I would love to have those cards! I love cantaloupe, my wife feels like a rich princess when we get them for like a buck here (about 100 yen) and now I know why. those melons are more expensive than two gallons of gas here! (well almost)

  • Melon is an anagram for lemon. This isn't a contest, but a coded message from the LWO (Lemon World Order), telling it's members to take over the world!

  • I already forgot what my original comment was lol! But I was just wondering...Is fruit usually that expensive in Japan?
