Oh maybe I should add how to actually know if it is ripe or not: smell it. There should be a fragrant sweet smell and the blossom end should be slightly soft. No smell= unripe. Also the skin under the netting should be orange or golden. If it is green it is.....guess what? You said unripe? You got it right! Yay 1 star for you. :D

This is my first visit to this channel. The guys at benchfm have mentioned this channel so many times, I just had to come check it out.

I hardly ever comment and also never hope to win contests but those hiragana cards are just what an aspiring gaijin like me needs. I can only say "konbini" and "suica"! (And I don't even like watermelon that much; Cantaloupe is better)
