my supra does the same thing. i got the stock excaust piping with just a header when i race ppl and down shift it shoots flames. any1 know excactly wats going on?

my 84 ptype used to do the same thing. run it a little rich and shift at 4000-4500 rpm, and you can hear that pop and just a flash.

Thats not redlineing it. Or even close to it. And as far as the exhaust. Its all custom.

LOL Its easy to do but it will hurt the motor allot!!! Cut the Ign in the key and then put it back on.
