this is an old english bulldog its what you get when you cross a english with an american short stocky with shorter snouts i got a 100% johnson he is alot bigger but these are pretty dogs i like there big heads

All you people below who know nothing about Bulldogs. The English Bulldog we no today is not a proper bulldog! It was crossed with Pug dog to make the dog smaller, an effectively it became totally useless, they cant even give birth naturally now!Thats why some are born with cork screw tails aswel! The American BULLDOG! is what the True English Bulldog looked like a century ago. No two bulldogs will look identical they have huge genetic pool that gives healthy variation!

I luv the american bulldog breed i definitely prefer the more bullier johnson type as long as it has good prey drive.These overly muscular pitbull terrier ,blue pitbulls and giant pitbulls are whats messing up that particular breed.Go to any bulldog book the bulldog especially american or original english where always generally giant dogs 90lbs 100lbs sorry got carried away nice dogs.

@musicjunkie213 There are a couple of different strains, if not more. These could be Johnsons, much more "bulldoggy" looking, stocky, wider, less athletic and shorter legged than Smiths. It's either Johnson's or an Olde English Bulldog, which is a combo of an American bulldog and an English, and I have an Olde English. It's hard to say, but I'm sure the uploader knew what they were talking about.

those are american bulldogs.. you have the scott, and the johnson versions.. these are johnson's.. they have the english bulldog face.. scott's have "pitbull" faces... oh just to answer some of ur ?s on are they good gaurd dogs yes they are their very alert any noise they hear they will bark and the only thing about one of my dogs is that he barks at people who wear hats trench coats or all black clothing i dont know why but he dont like it its weird. and yes they can protect u in the streets with their size most people probably wont even come by u with a dog that big . they get up to 100 plus lbs. so that can knock someone oves if they were trying 2 attack u.

Well, I've a 3 years old girl. She's protects her territory, but outside it, she's friendly with others. Although as soon as someone tries to harm her/you, she really gets angry. But look at the big one in this video. If i were a criminal i would never attack anyone with a powerhouse dog like this. :) Once i read somewhere, and also saw in news, you wanna shoot one of these dogs, one bullet is not enough, unless you are a sharpshooter, and can hit a vein.

These dogs are very protective of their owners. Very good guard dogs, i never had to train mine, she automatically grew into it. Im tellin you these dogs can sense if you dislike someone, they are very smart.. As for being territorial, you should give it alot of time with other dogs when its a puppy. I had a female american bulldog and she was very loyal and loving. I had to put her to sleep because her kidneys started failing and she would not eat. R.I.P. ...
