Ok, it's an amazing robot as far as construction goes, but obviously the "conversation" is scripted.. The AI inside is not making real sentences, being able to "understand" them, it only selects responses based on keywords. If a total stranger came up, it could offer nothing more than a few phrases and passing remarks but not really connect with the person in the way it presumes to do with it's creators. We'll still ways of until AI is that complicated.

This is the most understanding robot I've ever seen. Reminds me of the near human ones in movies.  I have no problem with basic robots or advanced robots. It's the in-betweens that that scare me. The ones that can do what we do, but don't understand our humanity we need to worry about. This one seems to understand humanity and behaves like a human, so I'm fine with him.
