51/18 ? K/D is not important. need to arm M-COMS, cover your mates when they move up on the crates. stuff like that. as you said yourself - kills dont matter, you still lost. you cant waste time popping off random runners. let them run and quickly arm the next MCOM!

I don't think it's a matter of giving new people specializations right from the bat, i think what would work better is using the ranking system to determine fairness by only pairing low levels and high levels together. I had the problem where i just started and there were like 4 level 50's who were just raping points with a gunship or a sniper with mgm ammo.

i agree about the specialization thing. in the beggining it was extremely frustrating to me to get into a gun fight with someone with magnum ammo (aka one shot kill pro) or someone with body armor (invulnerability pro), and considering that 90% of people use one of these, all i did was run around with defibrillators reviving people for points :D

Another completely awesome aspect of this game is that you have to pick your shots and only put yourself in a situation that your gun can handle. If you get a cross-map kill with an SMG, you aren't good, and your gun isn't the MW2 UMP45. Your enemy was a complete noob. Same with getting a quickscope or no scope.

If you have an SMG, you HAVE to rush. If you have a sniper or LMG, you HAVE to camp. If you have an AR, you need 15 - 50 yards of space to almost ensure a kill with good aim.

Realistic.

Bad Company 2 is so much better than MW2. I got it for the PC when it was on sale on Steam and I will not go back. So much more tactical and teamwork based. Working together to bring down a tank or moving in formation to protect a tank is so satisfying. Plus it actually has dedicated servers, and all the stuff that MW2 should of had. I regret my time on MW2 on the 360 haha.
