For us Catholics, Christmas is a holy day and we HAVE to go, no matter what day of the week it falls on. Of course, we can go the day before and not go the day of and it'll count as going on Christmas Day. The only time the churches will be close for Mass on Sundays and/or holy days is in case of blizzards or natural disasters. So, for those pastors who don't want to have services on Christmas Eve and Day, send them to the Vatican and they'll straighten them out--just a suggestion.
@pcsmoker13 Would to God I could brother. I was raised Roman Catholic, Altar boy, Latin Mass and Catholic school. Still have one hand holding some of my Catholic roots and traditions. I have never renounced the church, but have at times rebuked it or exposed some of its falterings. Not often, got too many fingers pointing out my own. Christmas and Epiphany blessings on you and your family brother, P
We live in a feel good society and preachers are sugar coating the word to fill pews because now its a business to them instead of a calling. There is a heaven and there is a hell and there is the bible to tell us about them. Satan the great deceiver is at work and the bible has told us about that too. Thank God for men like yourselves who are not ashamed of the real gospel of jesus Christ
Good seeing you fellas as usual. I love your new pipes. You know my take on your debacle! Iran and Afghanistan are getting very ugly with christianity. Watching you brothers is a breath of fresh air.
@PipePastor My ex wife and daughter are in Calif right now taking her husband to his new temp job. Next time its going to be my turn and i'll be tap tapping on your doorstep LOL God Willing!!
PipePastor I agree with you. There should be no reason for a Christian church to be closed on a Sunday and/or Christmas day. For some reason church officials feel that they are looking out for people's interests and instead are promoting a neutral, no religion ideal. This truly bothers me. It's a shame that not everyone has realized this, I'm 17 and I have. Like you said these are hard times and I pray for the strength to endure them.
Love the pipes and your channels, hope you both had a great
I pray you all had a wonderful Christmas. As a fellow pastor I am right there with you on the place of the Lord's Day in our lives. Glad to hear people still using that term. Love your channel and I'm glad you are back. You two and pipe pops are why I started with YouTube. God Bless!
