  • hey that's great stuff Sabfan, never heard about these recordings. It makes me very happy to hear some rareties like that.

  • The Johnson brothers gave us the "HERITAGE" LP REMORSE CODE back in the early '80's.

  • Is not this song is called look into this eyes? Thank you all the videos on lynott and Thin Lizzy, a hug from spain

  • These songs Steve did with Phil are ace. He also did an instrumental version of Cowboy Song

  • sounds like "look in these eyes" :D

  • seems to remind me of killer on the loose. only a bit though!

  • Thanks a lot blacksabfan! it´s a true pleasure to listen/watch the Lynottstuff you post! Keep on posting and to thoose few certain individuals that says you´re doing the "wrong" thing posting gems like this one! Get out of here!!!!

  • You're welcome. A new Lizzy/Lynott post is going up tomorrow. Not sure exactly what though...

  • Thanks.... This is BRILLIANT

  • Keep going Blacksabfan! Phil passed in January of 1986 and it is now 2008, so EVIDENTLY this material wasn't important enough in all that time to dust off and get out of the vault. Phil Lynott's legacy needs no protecting as it stands on it's on.

Phil was on the everday Joe's side. He made his money and it brought him no joy. I cannot imagine a humble, caring man like Phil not wanting his music to give comfort if it could. I "purchased" a double Grand Slam CD and this stuff wasn't on it.

  • Thanks. You're right about Mr. Lynott's legacy, although I'd hate to see people attempt to capitalize off of his untimely passing. I think that's one thing ALL the fans agree on, but there's two different schools of thought on this issue. Do we keep it locked away, to be accessed by a chosen few people that also protect it, or do you mass release it to the general public so anyone can hear it for free, and in turn pull the rug out from underneath the bootleggers? That's the $1000000 question.

  • Thanks Blacksabfan for posting! Please go on. I´m so glad that you helped me to discover "new" Lynott and Lizzy tracks. I´m a big fan since my youth way back in 1979. Why should I not be able to get a chance to listen to these gems? Please go on with posting!

  • Great song! I do not know what is going on behind the curtain. But among SOME rare-footage-freaks there is a tendency to feel like a godchosen ELITE sitting above "their" treasure chest. Some seem to enjoy the feel to look down on others as unworthy creatures. The godchosen listen to rare music - but parallel try everything they can to avoid that other music-lovers can participate in this rare music. Freud would have called these people anal characters. I would prefer to call them "small dicks".

  • I think you nailed that one! LOL

  • Thank you once again mate. It's great to hear how Lynotts songs progress from the demo version.

It really has sadend me that people are giving you a hard time. So selfish.

You have brought so much joy to me with your posts, I can't thank you enough.

Please ignor the dim wits and keep doing the right thing, hiding this stuff away doesn't help anyone. Thank you.

  • Thanks, blacksabfan!!!! :)
