  • DIE! printmedia DIE! you useless fucks. next one is TV. long live the internet!

  • That tactile feeling of holding a Newspaper in my hands is so important. I don't want to see them dissapear

  • Interesting...

  • You guys are in trouble.

  • relationships between articles? just use the "related articles" feature. just one of the points made invalid by this video. newspapers are dying. investing into online news is much smarter.

  • These are points about the format of the print edition versus the current format of the online articles. It's just as easy to release a digital edition that has a similar format to the current dead-tree NYT.

  • Nothing like reading yesterdays news. Physical newspapers are obsolete, and horrible for the environment. Let is go guys. your industry is dead.

  • I was expecting a demonstrating of using the (physical) newspaper to pick up after one's dog, help in accelerating deforestation, etc.

The Times, I'm afraid, is going to lose this battle. In the next 5 years, progress in eInk and ubiquitous wireless access is going to kill the newspaper industry.

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted!

  • I prefer a paper on the train, on the toilet, at the beach, on a plane. It is also easier to flip through as they say. I would never read the obituaries online, I wouldn't find many articles that weren't on the web front page... etc...

  • Main advantages: in emergencies it is good for different purposes!:-)

Light a fire, wrapping paper, for the toilet...

  • TFT Technology > Paper.

  • Main advantage: New York Times earns money on it and information online is free....

  • FIRST COMMMENT ha ha
