  • yoda gets druk

  • are you planning on finishing this ever?

  • sorry about the delay - the finished footage whizzes by, but I've been waiting for a bit of music to accompany with it, which was being done as a courtesy by someone on here. May just post it mute after all!

  • uhhh...is it done yet? are you a procrostinator? i am. but a year is a little long to procrostinate, isn't it? no offence or anything.

  • Still working? : D

  • well, there have been a few other projects creeping up! I'm just waiting for a bit of music being done. Hope to get that soon!

  • Its been a year

  • Time flies! I have edited it together, I'm hoping to get a bit of music/atmos composed for it, as that was flagged up when progress was uploaded last year. All this time, and it only runs around 6seconds.

  • I'm still waitung for this. It seems like alot of people are pissed off or forgot about it. Is it still going to happen?

  • RUBISH HE IS RUBISH

  • ..ok

  • bush blew up the twin towers and build 7 at the WTC. get over your patriotism....you don't own your house deed the bank does and will... 9/11 inside job...a man in a cave could figure it out but a man in a cave can not bring down the towers by a few floors of buring keoscene (jet fuel)...dumb fat two faced chritian/jew america

  • Youre fuckin stupid

  • @justicedude97 :I could u do any better hes way smarter than u

  • you did not define creationist ? the broadest sense includes theistic evolutionist , a mid point would be 14 billion year old universe creationist, and the narrowest sense would be young earth 10 K year old creationist , which is the newspapers and pop TVs prefered definition of creationist , even though im an old earth creationists i would never agree to the term creationist for this reason. I suspect you know this , and are just biased

  • I believe in both. I think that Evolution was given to earthly creatures as a means to which they can survive in the ever changing environment. I don't know how God could've done it in Seven Days, but perhaps we are the ones who don't have the proper perception on that.

  • zzzzzz

  • Why can't people respect the views of others? You are all immature pricks!

  • Never use the word ALL, or someone must just knock on your door and stamp on your face mate. Someone will alway know who you are and would love to see you get a slap. DOH

  • GET MORE YOUTUBE PLAYS!!! JOIN THE YOUTUBE TRAIN AT viewtubetrain . net use me as the referrer!

  • It's not very clear.

  • Science. Big bang is an actual possibility. And you would know if God is real? Have you seen him? No and no-one has seen the Big Bang either. So the thing is no-one will ever know how the earth was made. I myself believe in science but I understand the people who believe that god is real and created the earth. Excuse me if this is not what you're on about I only caught the last comment =)

  • What if I believe in both? I have views that don't lean towards either side.

  • me too

  • lesson up everyone quit arrguing over whether u know god is real or not or whether u belive in scientology or not!!!! goah besides we all hav are own opinions goah, besides the fact of the matter is, is that god is real and scientology is bullshit!! i mean scientology is practicly saying that letters will form into words, forming into sentences and make a book themselves rather than someone writing the dictionary. so i hope all the arguing ends here. -.- goah.

  • You have no basis for anything you just typed heheddiiee. It doesn't matter if someone is religious or not because anyone can say their catholic, jewish or christian just to save their ass from any trouble. It's not whether anyone witnessed god or any of his supposed acts of stupifying amazingness. Here's one more thing...Man created science in our world, not god. He can't take any credit because he's abandoned us for the over 2000 years.

  • You f****** Tit! Are you ronke?

  • Maybe I'm just too tired...but I think this is really funny because it's way too complicated to deal with, the way he wants. I mean, I think this is actually a funny prank or hoax to see how many of us will do all this stuff for HIS video and his answer to the eternal questions....

  • It's not what you think. I'm developing and exploring my love of animation. Thanks to the many contributions from around the globe, I can develop the idea of enabling animation to be made by people collaborating around the world. You may have found it too complicated, but I had to discover whether people could contribute - animation's complex enough as it is! The eventual outcome of this and future such work is about the people taking part and ideas that matter to them, not about me.

  • How do you make it into those squares?

  • i was planning on doing this, but i dont have a working camera anymore

  • i've posted an update, but i'LL wait until the end of july in case there is a splurge of new contributions

  • are the results in ?...... id like to see the final video if so

  • i can see him its u but theres no earphone wire

  • u should get some who can animate to do it cause ur kind of bad sorry just keep trying

  • i, personally beleive in evolution

  • totally dude

  • lmfao can i stick a lightbulb IN an apple

  • gimp

  • the rule of thirds!!! a basic photography guideline!

  • can i hold one in each hand? xxoo

  • no! it won't register with the other images!

  • fine . . .

  • i wanted to send a pix but i dont know to what im gonna hold. im still looking for an apple that lights, coz i believe theres an entity that creates all the living things on earth and it started out through evolution.

  • I know my appeal is overly simplified, but from that stand point, I would encourage you to hold a light bulb, as I am using that as a symbol of a creative idea, which from your understanding, evolution is.

  • Ok, I would rather believe that O was made from God then two giant rocks... thats just me though

  • 640 x 480 o.k.? it's either that or 1600 x 1200 for my camera

  • try 1600x1200 - I'm finding that if the images are smaller than 640x480 the image pixilates, and the isn't as much detail to work with in the final sequence - the latest preview of which is on my channel!

  • I'm not too crazy about thinking I was a monkey at one time...evolution doesn't make sense

  • It's weird, i think evolution makes sense, but i dont want to belive that my soul will turn into nothingness when i die...

  • I wonder if we will all live on in YouTube?

  • lol ya

  • awesome, i cant wait to see the finished product...hopefull you will get enough photos to make it more than like 3 seconds long though! ;P ill submit mine tomarrow

  • actualy, most people believe their own beliefes, some are influenced by fictional books, others arn't, but those that believe exactly what the scripture of the bible says...those people are nutjobs.

  • why not!

  • sure!

  • Most people believe God created evolution, duh end of the "debate."

  • Actually, most religious people just believe God created everything, and nothing evolved >_< Read le bible. And after the quite amusing fictive read, become an atheist :>

  • I just bypassed reading the bible :3

  • lmfao ahahahah yall funnaa be extinct =p =p =p =p =p bitch serves Yall racsist ass good.

  • u know, thats racist

  • evolution is gods great work

  • I would have help u out dude but I just saw this video. Cool idea! maybe point me to the results.

  • well, I've extended the deadline for submissions if that's what you were referring to - due to a surprise front page feature.

  • Hmm, too many variable images, it will always be a blur.

I'd recommend doing this without the background.

Simply have the person hold the bulb/apple tight in front of their nose and frame just the head and torso.

Perhaps from the belly button up.

Then crop the images placing the bulb/apple in exactly the same location on each image so it never really moves or changes size.

    The animator - MickDMouse

  • I'm going to try a more neutral background on the next test I try out. I was interested in what people consider representational of their area - certainly I want to avoid the end result looking too much like YouTubers in front of their camera, because I could screen grab images from the videos here.

Also, despite the differences between the frames submitted, you get a nice unpredictable arm movement, which i can soften by arranging the images in some kind of logical order.

    Thanks!

  • mmmmmmmmm, sounds like an interesting idea. may do that!

  • Please check my animations...!!!!

"the crane and the giraffe" is my 1st animation

love story between a lonely port crane and a cute giraffe.

    =)

  • Don't worry Iain, we still love you! We'll get photos to you soon.

  • i think god made a mistake making u...im saving this video for the next time im having trouble sleeping...thanks no more sleeping pills needed!

  • The really STUPID thing about creation vs. evol... is that disbelief in one DOES NOT constitute belief in the other. I do not belive in either...Atheist/sceptical of the sketchy science (archeology requires a HUGE amount of imagination, much of it is true/right, but much is conjecture. The X vs. Evo argument where one is pitted against the other does prove the 90% theory...(90% of humans are stupid and can't reason a proper argument)

  • it will be biased because religous are more passionate and crazy about what they believe in

  • Bookmarked im gonna go see my mate w/ a cam later this day, sounds interesting and Evolution FTW, i mean really it makes more sense than a story

  • Watch This:

    youtube(DOT)com/watch?v=vmhYc-byIOA

  • So basicallly a lot of you haven't been paying much attention in any of your science courses. Scientist have researched and discovered bacteria resisting certain chemicals in order to survive as SilentThunder has referred to.

Scientist have accepted evolution to the point they have no reason to argue with one on the subject. Ask any scientist what they think about evolution. Until then continue to doze off in biology...

  • Man... fun idea, thanks for sharing. But what the hell, I've never seen writing as bad as some of these comments...

All I have to say is I dont know any creationists. I know one guy who was almost convinced, but I showed him the argument from a different perspective from what he had heard and he changed his view.

  • Hey Fuck You pitzipoanka!!!! Don't blame rest of us. It's fucker repudlic who voting fucker bush. Don't talk shit about my country.America home for illege alien. You monkeyfucker horse shit eating!!

  • heres the problen if adam and eve was true then that means all humans ome from a long line of incest if you think about it.

  • ?? at the same level as your face!

  • what are all the negative comments about??!

  • stupid retard.

  • blea! you stupid, retarded nation! fat, lazy and stupid, that describes americans the best! FUCK YOU ALL YOU FILTHY BASTARDS! stealing oil and everything poor nations have too offer! i'm desgusted! shame on you bush, shame on you fools who voted him, shame on you who belive him/them. FUCK AMERICA AND GLOBALISATION

  • anim8iain i wonder what you think of this little debate your video has sparked..

  • well, i guess I was hoping they would take it out with photographic images with the apples or lightbulbs. Hey ho - I'll need to check in that email account and see what's happening. Still - it will be interesting to print this all out and read it in detail!

  • where can i edit videos? that i can put effects like lightning, color, text anything.. please!

  • may I suggest After Effects? Or would that be too comprehensive a package for your needs? Any other thoughts from anybody else?

  • can everyone please just stop arguing and DO IT already!

  • NO!

  • How else has a painting ever come into existence? If you are trying to draw an analogy between your painting and a biological organism, your comparison completely fails. Bio organisms are subject to reproduction, mutation and selection. Paintings are not.

  • the whole point is not to have a battle in the comments; just let yourself be heard and represent your side of it in that one twelveth of a second.

  • well he did

  • Goodbye

  • I skimmed through the last 20 pages and it's almost all you quoting an inaccurate book. You're fucking dumb. You don't believe in evolution?

  • You think "god" made us how we are? So how do you explain neanderthal bones, and if god created us in his image, does he look like a caveman, or something before that in the evolutionary chain? Is god a single cell organism? Who the fuck knows how the first thing got here. Space can't end, but it has to, it makes no sense, but it sure as fuck wasn't a man who made it. Using your dumbass train of thought, how did god become? Who made him? Godgod? No, you're dumb.

  • Oh blow it out your arse you weegie bellend. Sounds like too much hard work to me just so you can get some useable footage! Do it yourself you lazy bastard!

  • Thousands to millions will spend their lives going around in pointless, irrelevant circles, consumed by other's words without a voice of their own, and in the end, no one will care to remember these masses, for all they left behind was negativity.

Millions of people call my Catholics hypocrits. Millions of those people are hypocrits. Millions of those people have severe misconceptions.

    They create mindless conflict.

  • Here is the truth. Spirituality is part of every single human being, no matter what they think. Plenty choose to logistically eliminate for various reasons.

In the end, the intent of not being spiritual, whether it's in religion or otherwise, is to harm those who are spiritual, spite for the sake of spite.

There is nothing gained by not being spiritual. One only harms themselves by doing this. I don't care about groundless, majority opinions.

  • Being spiritual and being religious are two seperate things.

I know a lot of deeply religious people that dont have an ounce of spirituality or positivity in them... Most people that I have met/seen/heard that claim to be deeply religious are like this.

I also know many deeply spiritual people that are atheists.

In the end, the value of religion is shown in its history.

  • And for the record, I am a spiritual person... just one that wishes to get these people out of the secular sphere where they do not belong; my daughter has enough crap fed to her at school with 'No child left behind' that I am already thinking about home-schooling her just to get her educated.

  • To me, that makes no sense. Religion, as far as I have seen, was what forged the idea of a soul or an afterlife. Also, I cannot rely on your claim of meeting these people and them doing as you have typed.

And in the end, that is precisely what I typed. I put "whether it's in religion or otherwise". Though an atheist having a spiritual side is something I fail to understand. I suspected they believed in only the physical, not the metaphysical.

  • Take Taoism for example, the idea is that absolute nothingness is the root of all things is at its very core.

It was the progenitor of the Buddhist movement (several schools of which still hold to the primacy of nothingness) and Zen; both of which are extremely aesthetic and spiritual movements.

  • Also, I don't care what makes sense to you.

Your incapability of understanding is not an argument for something's invalidity.

  • There is nothing metaphysical about the spirituality of anyone. What people refer to as spirit is emotion and imagination --everyone has/uses that. Religion has NOTHING to do with spirituality. Religions are clubs designed for the exclusion of people who cannot be controlled and forced to comform to idiotic notions. Atheists are just like you, only more free(unshackled) in their thinking.

  • Wow. I won't explain, it's not for you to understand. You'll say all the expected things that are stale and used frequently, coupled with the asinine thought that it is the truth. I've heard it all, i've seen it all.

And no matter what we believe, our impact only comes to earth. Whether one believes in God or not is about a fraction of 1/500th on the smallest, tiniest, nearly non-existent atom in the enormous scope of infinity.

  • I put my faith and trust in Jesus Christ the Son of God who died on the cross and paid the debt for my sins and arose on the third day. He's never returned void the faith I've put in Him. Has what you've put your faith in ever failed you, and if so, why are you still following it?

  • died for your sins, it really doesn't make sense. Think about it. This was to prove to God that humans are worth a damn, by having humans kill his son?

  • For me, eternity is a long time. And I want to be sure about where I go when I depart this world. And I am sure. And I want to share that information with as many people as I can before I go. That's it! That's the purpose of my Christianity. I can't prove evrything in The Bible nor can scientists prove everthing they claim. But that's not the point. That's the smokescreen the author of confusion uses to lead people away.

  • so your God is going to keep you around for billions and billions and billions of years just for saying the magic words, "Jesus is lord *squak*" while all the other people who live much more humbled Christ like lives will be burning for billions of years. this doesn't sound like an all knowing God, is there any possiblity that it's just the thoughts of some angry old men 2000 years ago?

  • The 'author of confusion' is exactly the one trying to get you people to push this crap into publicly funded, secular schools.

Again, I don't care what the hell you believe in the privacy of your own home, just quit trying to push it on everyone else.

I will not have my taxes paying for this crap to be taught to my kids; nor to see your 10 commandments on my court house steps.

  • For what it's worth...I believe what this boils down to is not a matter of science vs. religon or religon vs. science. This is all just a distraction or a smokescreen to confuse us. Where does this confusion come from and why are some of us so caught up in it?

  • It comes from the people trying to mix religious with secular life by forcing religion into every hole they see; even the publicly funded secular ones where they do not belong.

It ends up with people getting tired of having it pushed on them, and being forced to pay for it with our tax dollars.

I am caught up in it because I have 3 kids, all in public schools; and I am not going to have my taxes pay to poison their education because you want me to.

  • Bluemeenie - the difference between science and religion is that the primary goal of science is to come up with the best, testable, logical theory possible to explain a phenomena. It encourages people to question authority and develop new theories, because by proving an old theory wrong we make scientific progress. The primary goal of religion is to get everyone to believe unquestioningly in a supernatural higher power, which is just another way of saying 'a wizard did it'

  • Followers of both can be guilty of 'Blind Faith'

  • geophysicist John R. Baumgardner notes: "In the face of such stunningly unfavorable odds, how could any scientist with any sense of honesty appeal to chance interactions as the explanation for the complexity we observe in living systems? To do so, with conscious awareness of these numbers, in my opinion represents a serious breach of scientific integrity."

  • Because it isn't a purely chance system... in evolution, the environment places both positive reinforcement on positive traits, and negative reinforcement on negative traits.

A geophysisist? What does geophysics have to do with evolution?

I know a Buddhist that disagrees with your biblical interpretations, too... but it doesn't matter because IT ISN'T THEIR FIELD OF EXPERTISE.

  • Bluemeenie, the key difference is that scientists attempt to explain how the world works through a series of mutually supporting models, these models are based on the available testable evidence.

In response to how any honest scientist could support random chance - because it's better than magic or pixies as an explanation.

A logical explanation based on rules is the one which should take precedence

  • Loose Change is such bull, every argument it makes can be countered by a valid counterargument. Most conspiracy theorists believe in conspiracy theories because the idea that a small group of committed fanatics could cause such damage terrifies them and blaming a ridiculous conspiracy is easier

  • silent thunder storm

not trtyin 2 start a aargument but na we wont give up on religiopn.. people need some sort of belife to keep them goin and science dosent fill it, only religion dose. yes religion dose start many wars yes the religions own billions of pound wich they wont giv away

but people need religion to bass there life of and if nothin else to answere some questions

  • I dont give a damn what they believe in the privacy of their own lives... but they don't stop there.

Again, I will not have my taxes pay for a war caused by someone that prayed to an invisible man (who apparently recommended 'killing the bastards'), to put their rules on my courthouse steps (where I expect blind justice), or into my daughter's school (where I expect a valid education based on facts).

  • Keep them the hell out of my secular affairs, and I will shut up... till then, Im protecting MY TURF AND MY CHILDREN FROM THEM.

  • I care not what you believe, I really dont give a damn.

I just get really pissed off when they try and run my life, and teach my daughter this crap in school; and them claim to be a 'persecuted majority'.

They have given us no reason to trust them, and every reason not to... why wouldn't we fight them?

Im here to defend my daughter's hope for a future... and that hope is constantly threatened by the Christian Right.

  • please don't put that in a manifesto and blow something up-

  • Nah, only religious fanatics do that kinda thing.

  • BlueMeenie:

    1) The bible has not been proven correct, and this does not change just because you say it is so.

    2) Science is not pushing against religion, religion has been trying to push into secular affairs; public schools, science classes, and politics, especially.

    3) You claim that your religion is against violence? Look at your history, of the last 2,000 years, they only stopped wholesale slaughter of opposition in the late 1600's.

  • silentthunder

    1) You've never read the bible-your point is not recognized

    2) Science and Religion have been gulity of asking/demanding for 'blind faith'- which is not a choice of intelligence.

    3) You have NO IDEA what religion I am

You're comments are better suited for attacking race and ethnicity-as you did above

  • 1) I read Hebrew and Greek, and have read the bible in its original language.

    2) No, science asks for intelligent debate and argument; religion asks for blind faith, which is not a choice of intelligence.

    3) Obviously, Christian. Name any sect of Christianity that existed before the 1600's? Whatever particular sect you practice, obviously, its foundation lie in these times.

  • Science is trying to duke it out with religion because religion began trying to use our publicly spent dollars on teaching scientifically unsupportable Intelligent Design in our classrooms.

And science isn't losing that battle.

  • Funny, God has been a good excuse for killing for a few thousand years.

As for the bible not condoning killing, you seem to have a selective reading skill.

There are several places that the bible not only condones killing, but commands it.

  • In fact, at the original supposed founding of Israel, God commanded them to slay 'every man, woman and child.... not to leave one stone standing upon another'. That sounds suspiciously like genocide.

Not to mention Leviticus that commands blood sacrifice for such sins as a woman having her period.

Thankfully, times have changed, and they haven't been able to get away with that crap since the Renaissance.... Enlightenment did prevail.

  • you HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT- were you raped as a choir boy or something?

  • Prove it- if you want to talk about something legitimate i will-

  • It isn't a problem with people with 'man-made' religious views... those people call it philosophy and are generally quite peaceable about it...

Its those damn fanatical morons that have some old book they swear by that are continuously trying to push themselves into secular concerns like GOVERNMENT and SCHOOLS, and SCIENCE.

Not to mention pushing them on those of OTHER faiths based on old books... thats when the heads literally start to roll.

  • Yeah, pretty soon we'll give up on this notion of religion that keeps driving us to war.

  • you're right

  • Well, then start pushing evidence... so far I haven't seen any in favor of your beliefs, and I've looked pretty hard.

Whats next after humans? No idea, but bees and ants are my bet for next in line... ants especially. Extremely well organized society, already use agriculture, sophisticated communication system, and capable of surviving nearly world-wide.

Only one way to find out though, eh? Wait a few more million years.

  • i saw that movie too-

  • No, instead, you will adapt by adding more skills that will allow you to generate more money. At the same time, the bad habits you ave that waste money will need to fall by the wayside. Otherwise you will fail to adapt, and someone better will take your lead.

And they have shown many examples of animals that HAVE evolved consciousness... Koko for one.

  • Because my designed brain allows me to to think and change. But you admit i wouldn't grow anything. -you just disporvied evolution- animals are not conscious- you make this soo easy

  • Then you haven't looked at the world around you, at least not with a critical scientific eye.

look at the ripples on the surface of the water, and realize that they are made from energy which is spontaneously organizing the water into peaks and troughs.

And we have proven (with the Atomic Bomb) that matter is only energy condensed (plus a bit of a twist in its spin).

  • sure its in their design

  • Agreed completely.

Unfortunately, the bible hasn't been proven, and therefor cannot claim to be fact.

And for the record, I have to disagree... the bible has changed a great deal over time, the bible that is now used was VOTED for at the council of Nicea, and the translations alone have changed its meaning subtly ever since.

  • you haven't read it pal- that negates your comment

  • Gee, except all the video content you 'mooch?' from YouTube.

Then there is also the freely available and open-source software like Linux, Apache, MySQL, and several others that keep the web running.

Nope, nothing free there, you greedy freaking a-hole.

  • Actually, science doesn't preach against God. It doesn't care about God in the least, only the processes by which things work.

Science also stays out of your churches, which is a lot more respect than the IDers are willing to show... they push themselves into publicly funded schools nation-wide.

  • Blame lies with both sides

  • "Actually, science doesn't preach against God."- no you do- and ironically you're neither a scientist nor a bible scholar- but you know everything

  • "Science also stays out of your churches, which is a lot more respect than the IDers are willing to show... they push themselves into publicly funded schools nation-wide. "

You can't speak for the majority of the public moron- what about Nationalism? thats pushed pretty hard in schools as well - right along with Darwinism- Both are passionatley fought for with religios ferver- as you do as well. "Down with Yankees right?"

  • Well, then, you have a house divided that you need to take care of. I've had more than one of them pushing their crap in my face and into my daughter's school.

Then there was the whole voting for Bush thing, and the 'nuke the fuckers' mentality that the Cristian Right came out with...along with the 'Godless Liberals' bit...

If you're against those people, then you need to make yourselves heard against them.... otherwise you are accomplices to their crime in your names.

  • Gee, being loud to pretend access to truth?

Sounds typical for the ID/Christian Conservatives to me.

And having the ability to question God being an argument for his existence? No, but your inability to formulate a scientific argument FOR him seems a good argument against him to me.

After all, if he did all this for his own Glory, wouldn't he leave some proof? Or at least people capable of arguing intelligently in his defense?

  • If you ignore the proof whoose fault is that yours or the proof?

In the US System of Justice, 'reasonable doubt' can mean the differnence between life and death. Evolution has no evidence and or wittnesses/testimony. Creation does. You should really visit a museum-life and culture has been around allot longer than you and your prejudice.

  • Because according to you - Animals question Gods existance too right- silly rabbit

  • There are numerous self-organizing systems. Neural Networks for one, and they are designed off of the process of evolution.

  • Neural Networks have a designer too.

  • Its from the 'Rule of Thirds' for design...

Split it in thirds horizontally, then split it in thirds vertically.

  • In the suburbs... its call Whigger.

You can only learn it if you're a white middle-class suburban kid that wishes they had some 'strete credd'.

Fortunately, the law of Natural Selection is currently getting them hooked on crack and getting their poser asses shot off when they head 'in2 da huud'. So we wont have to deal with it for long.

  • Now I know what kind of intelligence we're dealing with here. Is your college dilpoma written on the dixie flag?
