Also the stuff Dr Stephen Jones found at ground zero was Super Nano Thermate...not Thermite. Thermate is to Thermite as a Sword is to a butter knife. Thermite can be mixed in a wheel barrow, Thermate is made in at the Livermore Labs or Los Alamos Labs. Quite literally apples and oranges as it turns out.
Anyone that watches this video should try watching this video instead as it shows you that it can be cut when fully enclosed. /watch?v=LNOM_U5UM6Q&feature=related seriously thermite can through steel.
This may be one of the more poorly designed experiments on tv, National Geographic should be embarrassed by this. In light of some of the work done by other, far more creative individuals, about how to cut through and physically affect steel with thermite, this "experiment" and its derived conclusions are an absolute disgrace.
The column was upright through. Maybe if gravity was pulling down, it could have bent the horizontal columns into falling down and bringing the upright ones with it? IDK, I don't really know anything :|

Looks like the government got to National Geographic too. It's too bad that NatGeo wasted all that money on thermite, only to use it incorrectly.

Shame on you NatGeo, shame!! Thermite is being used worldwide, for it's ability to melt steel, it was designed for welding in first place.
So who exactly you're trying to cheat in this futile attempt to back-up naive official story?

Thermite is used to bond steel rails.. anything left to say? Something's wrong about that test.
