The movie was authentic, refreshing, and important to me. It made me want to be a better person. We must remember who we are and how much of an impact we have on our world. When this movie is available for purchase, I will buy it and show to anyone willing to sit down and pay attention!

Having a society based on mutual aid and cooperation does not in any way negate the individual or the right to autonomy and independence. It would just renounce the silly backwards notion that needs to step on others in order to get ahead and to be a master of your own destiny (ie: freidmanism, Ayn Randian Objectivism).
There is no actual contradiction between individualism and collectivism. A good society needs as much as possible of BOTH.

@xyzzjp true, more like survival of the fittest, and for humans now survival of the most intelligent, democracy doesnt really exist any more the US is just a republic but we call it a democracy so we have a sense of power when we really have none individually. But to fix the world it will take a gigantic movement by the people of all countries that will benefit all of the people in the human race, rather than a small percentage. Its my dream to see it happen, but i doubt it will.

One of the ways that the Reagan Generation split us from is (that dirty word) "union". We are us, we are powerful in numbers. The "Me Generation" is an illusion. That's how they weaken us.

We are all individual creatures with strengths and weaknesses. Some of us are smarter, some stronger. Some generosity is good. Too much is bad. I was more aiming to these documentaries that I'm sick off. I just became 19 and still am a student :). Will I ever invest into any good cause human related? No I will not...because our race is doomed to fuck up the world anyway.
The main point of my comment is that people who wanna change the world will do it and theres a bigger chance of a person winning the lottery than the chance of a person changing his lifestyle to help the world because he saw this movie.
