xlclee (AKA Lee) designed this bird. The manufacturer messed up the locale of the motors (not sure why but undoubtedly had to do with money) but it's Lee's design.

It will fly MUCH better, as in: more stable, more maneuverable, use less power, fly WAY slower and faster, do flared landings (see my videos) if you return it to the ORIGINAL configuration with the motors mounted on the vertical tails (see RS ads and Google: "StarScreamer into Backyard Bird"). I designed it and they changed it for the worse ...

Tape a large paper clip on top of the plane behind the on-off switch and it will fly much better: it will have more control and it won't rocket upwards as fast either. Really fun plane to fly! Buy at RadioShack.
