Great playing man! The ONLY rendition of this song in which the performer doesn't kill the harmonies or melodies off completely (the solo jazz versions deviating from the flawless harmonies of this piece) whilst still jazzing it up with some nice complex chords...keep it up :D

Just found your various videos while looking for inspiration because I really want to start learning to play piano as a middle-aged guy after putting off the desire for so many years. I have to ask: how many years have you been playing? How many till you felt like you were really comfortable enough to enjoy playing for your own enjoyment?

@ClearyTed Thank you very much for such a nice compliment. I think the most important thing is, that you enjoy even small improvements. I started with very simple tunes but I did like to play them. There are many tunes which I would like to play, but they are to difficult now. I hope I can play these tunes in a few years. If I would play them know I would be too frustrated an perhaps lose motivation. So with the right mental you can enjoy even at the beginning.

Your quite welcome Dave, I've been enjoying your videos for quite a while now, could I ask you a question about what speakers / monitors / amplifier or preamp what ever you use for Ivory?

@Organasum I placed my keyboard directly on top of my large 25 years old Hi-Fi Speakers. This is shurely not the normal way, but I like the near light vibrations like on a real instrument. What you hear on youtube is the directly rendered vst plugin of Ivory. I use Sonar PE. No additional fx, but I invested a lot of time to adjust the parameters in Ivory to get a warm but still present sound.
