The theme song is called "Brother Louie" by the band "The Stories". The original artist/band is called "Hot Chocolate". Both can be found on YouTube.

@BottleAndCanTricks The voice is that of Ian Lloyd, who sang the more popularized version with Stories, though his voice does sound more raspy then than now. Reggie Watts produced this recording with the intent to combine the vocal aspect of Stories with the musical style of "Brother Louie"'s original creator Hot Chocolate.

Louis CK talks about that guy on Opie and Anthony. He said that they just filmed his normal commute from work and some teens walked by. One of them flipped the camera off and yelled, "Fuck you!" He said he knew that would be keeping in the opening credits when it happened, which is why he kept a straight face.
