Like, I just don't believe that. Compare this dance to her other dance to OM in pink. (Didem 2) Now THAT was 2006. See their bodies are totally different in those two videos. This is not even 2007 because check her body is way more elongated in 2007. Here she is more muscular.
I really don't believe this was taken in 2006. Because you can see the transition of her getting to this state. (her body fluctuates a lot) and you can tell she looked different in 2006 and her movements were not as fluid. She got to this point by practicing and in her other 2008 videos she looks the same. 2006 totally diff. PS. I've seen others do the splits, which she does later on. Check out more istanbul dancing, rachel brice, etc.
this isn't her own dance. i learned this dance too. its an ancient egyptian dance, from like 5000 years ago or something. It's awesome, that something can be passed down like that from so long ago. Well...i guess other dances are too, bellydances.
I have to agree with you that she does need to work on her arms and that this choreography is not one of her best, but don't let those factors stop you from seeing the whole picture. There are many other videos of her that give her dancing justice. I see a very talented and passionate dancer. She has a very unique style, in my opinion :-) No one is perfect. She is young and has many years ahead of her to refine her technique. I think ballet training would do great for her.
She did not just do that to Umm Kalthoum did she? It's awful. And I've grown to like Didem, but I dislike this one so much. The tempo for the original song is slightly faster and she seems offbeat.
If I'm not mistaken I read in an article about her where she said that she would like to diferenciate from other dancers and that she would like to dance Samba or India music I think she is one of the best her tachniques are unique and she mixes different tipes of dance style but there is no question in my opinion that she is one of best bellydancers I'v seen her other videos and she is an amazing bellydancer the best

Actualy, it's fusion bellydancing because it it's fused with other bellydancing styles. There are many different styles today which is what makes it more interesting :-) Although I do love and respect traditional bellydancing as well.

Like, I just don't believe that. Compare this dance to her other dance to OM in pink. (Didem 2) Now THAT was 2006. See their bodies are totally different in those two videos. This is not even 2007 because check her body is way more elongated in 2007. Here she is more muscular.

I really don't believe this was taken in 2006. Because you can see the transition of her getting to this state. (her body fluctuates a lot) and you can tell she looked different in 2006 and her movements were not as fluid. She got to this point by practicing and in her other 2008 videos she looks the same. 2006 totally diff. PS. I've seen others do the splits, which she does later on. Check out more istanbul dancing, rachel brice, etc.

it's an ancient egyptian dance that's 5000 years old and passed on from generation to generation. So no one who has danced this really "stole" it.

this isn't her own dance. i learned this dance too. its an ancient egyptian dance, from like 5000 years ago or something. It's awesome, that something can be passed down like that from so long ago. Well...i guess other dances are too, bellydances.

I have to agree with you that she does need to work on her arms and that this choreography is not one of her best, but don't let those factors stop you from seeing the whole picture. There are many other videos of her that give her dancing justice. I see a very talented and passionate dancer. She has a very unique style, in my opinion :-) No one is perfect. She is young and has many years ahead of her to refine her technique. I think ballet training would do great for her.

She did not just do that to Umm Kalthoum did she? It's awful. And I've grown to like Didem, but I dislike this one so much. The tempo for the original song is slightly faster and she seems offbeat.

If I'm not mistaken I read in an article about her where she said that she would like to diferenciate from other dancers and that she would like to dance Samba or India music I think she is one of the best her tachniques are unique and she mixes different tipes of dance style but there is no question in my opinion that she is one of best bellydancers I'v seen her other videos and she is an amazing bellydancer the best

Actualy, it's fusion bellydancing because it it's fused with other bellydancing styles. There are many different styles today which is what makes it more interesting :-) Although I do love and respect traditional bellydancing as well.
