  • Have you had any problems out of this mag I'm thinking about getting me 1

  • @Sloom08 Well over 1000 rounds of any type of ammo you can think of with out one problem. I think the reason people run into problems with these 33 (actually called 30) rounders is when they don't break the mag down and get all the grease out if the spring area, they cake it in there real good at the manufacturing plant!

  • They are from the range, its just a shoot and see target sticket. BPV

  • where did you get those ear protection from???

  • where did you get the mag from?

  • @3donnell4 There is a link under the "Show More" in my title. Its advertised as P85-89 but all P series 9mm mags work with each other.

  • @stephanpatko You can also pick these up from CDNN Sports for around 15 bucks. When you get them clean out the inside of the mag well(they don't always after manufacture and can contain metal shavings).

They also all don't fit perfectly into the P95 series. I had to slightly increase the release catch for it to not fall out of the mag well while loaded.

Meg gar makes a 20 round mag that functions flawlessly.

  • Really got to love these for only being 300 bucks. 700 rds through mine and only failure due to cheap reloads.

  • @gonad84 Yeah I love mine, keep it in my night stand with that mag in it loaded with Federal HSTs. I think my Bi Tone was that, $300 and it works great. Only time it had problems was with a box of under powered ammo where the shell wouldn't even kick the slide back far enough to get a shell to pop out, it just stayed in the chamber (Federal Champions Wally World ammo). Its just a little too bulky to carry, made my hip a little tired.

  • Now that is a hi capacity mag. :-)

  • @stephanpatko. On that link, is it the "85-89 ruger 30 round mag" that will work for ruger p95?

  • @Rucka4life1 That is right. It says 30 round but it holds 33 rounds and the Ruger P85 and P89 use the same mags as the P95. Have fun!

  • No matter what junk brand of 30 plus round mags I've ever gotten at gun shows for the P-95 all during the ban, amazingly they all work through the P-95 flawlessly. Go figure? Gotta' love that!

  • that was 34 shots.. must have one in the hole eh?

  • @adam3176 It is never without...one in the pipe, gotta maximize it!!!

  • now bump fire! lol. my bro has this pistol and it's been pretty good so ffar

  • Its like a $10 bill in the mag though...

  • @timmyjunior1 And its money well spent...

  • @stephanpatko Agreed

  • I've got a pro mag for my p95 and its advertised as a 32 rnd. You can jam a 33rd bullet in there if you push hard but that can't be good for the spring.

It fits the pistol very well without any play.

  • @PrincessKittenz

That's strange, this one fits snug in my Ruger. What brand is yours or where did you buy it?

  • oh yeah, and it works flawlessly

  • The Ruger P85-89 9mm use the same magazine as the P95, and most sell as a 30 Round Magazine, but they hold 33 rounds.
