This is only my opinion.

Consumer level and also dubbed "home" video editing softwares available for The average windows PC give a highly unprofessional finish, and certainly this is the case with WMV which is perhaps the most common (and for a reason) of video editing softwares (likely to be because it's free). Microsoft it's self has a poor sense of style which reflects into it's computer interface and also it's advertising campaign's.

I actually never used a P.C for anything long term just for about a week or so and i have been on several and although i don't use P.C's regularly i have still witnessed a few crashes :0

well to be honest i've had a good look through p.c. animators and mac animators and it looks like p.c's actually have a wider range of animation software available so i suppose i was wrong in assuming that macs were superior in creativity

The performance of some PC's is very high and i don't doubt you that your computer has never crashed but everybody i know who uses one seems to get viruses and crash at times.

you obviously take care of your computer well :D
