Tbh I like both shaun of the dead and zombieland. Shaun is hilareous british comedy and the best type there is. Makes me laugh so hard at all the moments of the film. Zombieland has one of the best actors of all time, Bill Murray. I so didn't expect that which made me enjoy the film a lot more. The final scenes made me feel meh. But both are good in their own way.

Enjoy them if they make you laugh, but dont compare them

Every time we move our muscles we damage them. Our body automaticly repairs this normaly but when we're turned into zombies this doesn't happen anymore (the tissue is effectively "dead"). Thus causing a deteriation of the muscles which leads to slow zombies.
