No offense, this thing looks amazing, but it looks more like a trailer queen than anything I'd want to get in the mud. I mean, the interior is pristine and even looks like leather. There's a nice stereo and a lot of electrics. That looks like a snorkel, so why would you put so much nice stuff on the inside? I'd see this rolling around Hollywood not Ocotillo Wells.

The thing I like about YOUR project isd that it is SENSIBLE. You didn't just decide to make a HMMWV into one of those silly "professional wrestling"-type monster-trucks with 3 foot lift and 60 inch bogger tires. Those things are a joke. In REAL offroad conditions they flip totally over and end up upside-down and totally useless. They are merely stadium,entertainment for the professional wrestling/Nascar crowd.

Would be nice to see a moving video of your humvee in action on the trail.

Your particular HMMWV base is one of the few that can easily compete to the new Unimog 1100.

6.2L motor in it is garbage, an outdated design ith no power, look for one with a 6.5L, and you'll only get 10-12 mpg max.

And it'll cost a LOT of money.

You can get a used 2006 Hummer H1 for 30k-50k with only 30k miles on it. Plus it gets 11 -16 mpg. Humvees can be possessed by federal law enforcement because it doesn't meet safety standards.
